I think your missing the point TC. It's not about them returning to their junior club and therefore deserve to be 2 point players. It's the fact that the group make up their own rules every year with what players are worth and don't stick to the proforma they have created. As much as it's great to keep quality players in the comp would the clubs they left have survived if they didn't leave? Oakdale could have last year but they lost their whole roster to Camden, appin, narellan and us... Then the clubs all the players went to were aloud to be 15 point players. Great for us and the other clubs it benefited but not great for oakdale or the clubs it didn't benefit. The following clubs cashed in big time. Camden had crouch, grey, pes, conlon therefore saved 40 points Appin had masters, moon, wey, Macaulay therefore saving 40 points |

I'm not missing the point, Gal said you can't be 2 points at 2 different clubs Everyone knows that no matter what, you return to your junior club you are 2 points My example would be Thorpey, let's say he was playing his fourth year at Mittagong in 2014, he becomes 2 points for them. In 2015 he decides to go back to Mossy, he immediately becomes 2 points because he is a junior. In 2016 he changes his mind and goes to Mittagong, he is a 25 point player because he has no current consecutive service at Mittagong. This is the case is it not? |

Correct TC. Gal, you're bowling that many wides, its time for a change in the attack. The beauty of the points system is its flexibility also. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we haven't lost one player in this competition to outside competitions due to the points system being stifling or a one size fits all. Management works with weaker clubs to get them stronger and keeps an eye on the stronger clubs, so that we don't end up back in 2007-08; a 1st Grade competition with 5 teams in which 2 clubs are threatening to defect. (Narellan was not up to standard in 2008). Point system is designed to produce 10 even teams, and early indications show that if Oakdale and Moss Vale get teams, they won't be in the 80-nil category. Oakdale is drawing heavily atm from Camden and Narellan's lower grades, while Mossy will attract from G7 and get their own kids back from Mittagong. Oakdale will get lower graders from other clubs at 15 or 10 points and so they should. The current flexibility in the system is its strength, not its weakness. |

Dunno about coaching, but I did hear they've signed a front rower. Maybe John Kite? Could be wrong but I'm sure I heard Kite. |

I dropped into Picton Bowlo on Friday night and the Greene- Sutton combination was the mail. My travelling companion did hint that the old Campbelltown Warriors connection had lured Clarke to Narellan, so that bolsters the Jet pack further. |

Yeah, good luck to him. I'm sure the big fella will go well with the Jets. It's probably fair to say he didn't fit the culture at Picton as well as some, and he probably would've liked more game time this year just gone. He was very strong coming off the bench in short stints, but with blokes like Kiel Shephard playing full games in front row it did limit his opportunities. As for the roosters, they could do worse than Sutto. He doesn't take do-do and has a very good football brain. |

does Clark have more than 5-10 minutes in him? If he gets fit he will be a handy pick up for narellan who already have IMO the best 2 going props in the group frazer aNd Joshua graham both 19-21 years old |

Yeah, he was very strong in the finals of 2013 as our 14th man, with Sheppo and Youngy as starting props. This year with big Kenny and Chris Bowers back from injury there was more depth there which meant less minutes for him. The way it's shaping up, there may be more genuinely class front rowers running around next year than I've seen before in the group. With Benson Tupou confirmed and Kenny at Picton, Kite at Thirlmere, Cashmere, Ben Weir and co at Camden, Begovich at Oaks, Ross Brown wherever he plays, and the Narellan guys you mentioned that's a hell of a lot of quality big men. |
