So Thirlmere has: - James Trotter - Sione Kite - Matt Groat ??Eddie Paea Trent Trotter back in June. Blake Judd to Newtown. Buddy Gordon to Wyong. Not enough to go past Picton, Appin, Camden and Narellan just yet.
You don't think Trotter playing off the back of Kite and Groat puts Thirlmere ahead of Fraser and Low at Narellan or Gibbs and Flanagan at Appin Orana? City seemed to have dropped off the face of the planet and next to nothing is known of squads at Oakdale, Mittagong and Moss Vale, while the Oaks seemed to have consolidated on last years roster gains, but that was good enough for 2nd last in 2014 can't see it magically improving for 2015...
Excuse me if I'm wrong but I was led To believe that flenno played a game After he was ment to take the early Guilty plead for that assada stuff Witch now he has to serve full term Is this correct???
Flanno has reregistered and will play this season. So how does that work if you don't Mind me asking? Does he not cop the ban Because he is only playin group 6 ? We all no he played the game after All players were ment to give the Early guilty plea so I thought he would Have to serve full term

City seemed to have dropped off the face of the planet. Trotter is out until June- July, but Matt Jones will more than adequately do a job behind that pack, if he's been retained.
We are still here, chipping away; the loss of Aitken has made us reassess what we hope to achieve in 2015. What I do know is that of the 31 senior players we had training on Thursday night, they are all of the "every session, every game, every function" bracket, a good place to rebuild from.
Moss Vale apparently has 5-6 players heading up from Warilla, including former St George lower grader, Luke Roberts.

Flanagan is gone. Picton three in a row Spend as much money as you like Camden, Narellan. City go back with Easts. "Flanagan is gone" can you confirm this as true or is this a rumour W Smithy?
I agree that Picton are a massive chance for 3 in a row but there is plenty of water to go under the bridge as yet, not even Round 1 yet.
Why would you want City to go back with Easts if this is a Group 6 Forum, wouldn't you want to watch all teams that want to play in Group 6?
Where would they go back to, Wests don't have a comp, especially if the rumours are true that a few Minto boys going to Mt Annan, that only leaves Easts & All Saints in SCC which is not in the same league, as yet, as Group 6 football or a comp that the Roos have ever played in.
Considering this is your first post what are you hoping to achieve W Smithy?

I THINK as time goes by more and more wests players will come G6 way.2nd division and reggies .City has the biggest geographical area to pull players from but never seem to capatilise.Sydney shield Wests and Easts still not enough.I just hope the workies and the Wombats rebuild othewise we are heading for a 5 time comp in first and Reggies .

Will ASADA put together a costly court case to stop a former first grader from playing Group 6 footy? I think not.

They have never received a show clause notice.

Orana needs a calculator I think 50 players or 31?
City training is progressing nicely. Over 50 players already makes for a crowded Fullwood, plus a good BBQ to finish the night. Light on for top-tier 1st Grade talent, at the moment, but hopeful...

31 'senior' players. 20 U-18s (with a second u/18 team about to start training shortly too). =51 on field, but as I said top tier talent is still not enough.

Enjoying these posts... 1st Picton - finals experts 3 in a row likely 2nd Rams - few qaulity signings will it be enough 3rd appin - great pack, good backs can wooden have them well drilled to beat the top 2 ?? 4th jets - will find players and a way to be in finals always do 5th thirlmere - much like jets will find a way 6th mittagong - will have enough to be competitive will lack class to win games they should 7th the oaks - improved a lot last year lacked forwards will need 3-4 to go better this year 8th city - I also think orana is downplaying expectations dalton will get city back being a force could easily sneak into 5th 9th oakdale - will surprise many but just being back is an achievement good luck to them 10th mossy - will wins games they shouldn't but still miss the 5
I think this year will be a close comp Camden Picton clearly top 2 I think appin narellan and thirlmere will battle for 3,4,5 but mitta the oaks city all capable of sneaking into top 5 with a few more qaulity players mossy and oakdale will build and be better for it in 2016 and who knows could shock everyone 1st- Camden 2nd- Picton 3rd- Thirlmere 4th- Appin 5th- Narellan 6th- The Oaks 7th- Mittagong 8th- Oakdale 9th- Mossvale 10th- City
Camden will be way too strong

I don't belive Jamie Zczerbanik was at our training last week ? Jamie Szczerbanik now resides in Parkes and is retired from footy, but is helping the Western Division Academy teams with their strength and conditioning.

A number of quality signings has had me pondering the potential strength of a possible group team. If everyone makes themselves available its a squad that could rival even the strongest divisions. This is a hypothetical squad I've knocked up off the top of my head. There's every chance I've left some more deserving players out, as this is just quickly thrown together. I haven't included rumoured signings like Groat and Merritt who would obviously be selected. The depth in the front row in particular is unbelievable. What's everyone else think? And it's preferable to politely disagree. You don't need to rip into me if I've overlooked someone!!!
1. Michael Lett 2. Nick Taylor 3. Drury Low 4. Don Thompson 5. Kyle Weh 6. Eddie Paea 7. Scott Borg 8. Bryce Gibbs 9. Stuart Flanagan 10. Ray Cashmere 11. Brad Hopkins 12. Alex Peters 13. Tom Moon 14. Benson Tupou 15. John Kite 16. Jack Twist 17. Anthony Provost
