A number of quality signings has had me pondering the potential strength of a possible group team. If everyone makes themselves available its a squad that could rival even the strongest divisions.
This is a hypothetical squad I've knocked up off the top of my head. There's every chance I've left some more deserving players out, as this is just quickly thrown together. I haven't included rumoured signings like Groat and Merritt who would obviously be selected.
The depth in the front row in particular is unbelievable.
What's everyone else think?
And it's preferable to politely disagree. You don't need to rip into me if I've overlooked someone!!!

1. Michael Lett
2. Nick Taylor
3. Drury Low
4. Don Thompson
5. Kyle Weh
6. Eddie Paea
7. Scott Borg
8. Bryce Gibbs
9. Stuart Flanagan
10. Ray Cashmere
11. Brad Hopkins
12. Alex Peters
13. Tom Moon
14. Benson Tupou
15. John Kite
16. Jack Twist
17. Anthony Provost
Good squad Foal.
Wingers are specialists, and i don't think Kyle fits that.
I'd like to see Bart Masters in there somewhere, maybe at 13.

Good points, both. Could easily throw Bart in back row or bench, big fan of his. And yeah I didn't put much thought into wings. Couldn't immediately come up with an option there so Kyle came to mind.

I heard on the weekend that Camden signed some big fella from the Illawarra Cutters that plays on the wing.
He's a bit of a freak finisher from what the guys were saying, couldn't play anywhere else but wing apparently

Haha yeah good call Rob
How about i'd just prefer Bart at 13 i think he's a better Lock than Tom Moon, just like i think Tom Moon is a better Front/Second-Rower than Bart (I guess i'm hating on Bart now then??)

Dragons players run through a training drill on Tuesday evening

RUGBY LEAGUE

THE Moss Vale Dragons senior players are fired up for the 2015 Group 6 season.

Moss Vale's first grade, reserves and under-18s footballers are back at training at Community Oval.

However, first grade coach Robbie Payne said pre-season training sessions had been restrained due to poor weather conditions.

"We've had a few sessions already, but the weather and ground conditions have played their hand," he said.

"Have a lot of young blokes who are naturally fit and looking pretty good.

"But we need to get on the field more often to do skills work."

The club is on the lookout for more players ahead of the Group 6 pre-season tournament at Community Oval on February 27.

For more information, call club president Michael Sutton on 0405 237 727 or email president.mvsrlfc@gmail.com

Tim Sheens returns to coach the Campbelltown City Kangaroos RLFC

Current Australian Kangaroos, and four-time NRL premiership winning coach Tim Sheens, has agreed to return to where his coaching career began- the mighty blue and gold of the Campbelltown City Kangaroos RLFC.

Sheens will conduct training for the club’s U/18, Reserve and 1st Grade teams at 6.30pm on Tuesday March 3rd, at Fullwood Reserve, Claymore.

Having been released by the Penrith Panthers at the end of 1982, Sheens was coaxed out of retirement to join City for the 1983 Group 6 season. Sheens starred as captain of the premiership winning Kangaroos 1st Grade team, and represented Country in that same year.

Sheens attributes his 1983 apprenticeship under Group 6’s most successful coach Ray Corkery, as planting the seed to pursue a coaching career.

The Panthers came knocking for the 1984 NSWRL season, securing Sheens as their 1st Grade coach, setting up a marvellous career that continues until the present day.

City Chairman Brian Brown commented that, “we are very proud to have Tim come and conduct training. Not many clubs can boast, as City can, that an Australian Coach led their club to a premiership success. It’ll be a great night for the club”.

A dinner will be held in Sheens’ honour after training, at club sponsor, Rashays Campbelltown.

City training for U/18s, Reserves and 1sts continues, under Head Coach Drew Dalton, every Tuesday and Thursday at Fullwood Reserve Claymore, from 6.30pm. Interested players can contact Drew on 0400 345 274.

Not sure how it went down but Tuesday at training he wanted 2 players sacked for poor attitude and commitment. Thursday they were their he was gone. I know he is strong on discipline and that all players are treated equal. I don't know if the jets management is as strong

What would a club do? Stand down two of the best players cause they had a prior commitment and couldn't play the last game in the cabra 9's? Word was the coach wanted those 2 players to 'prove themselves' over the next month. Coach must have had a 'my way or the highway' attitude, which as we all know in country footy, doesn't quiet work like that no matter how professional a club wants to be.

Yep that's what you would do ... The coach clearly felt like he didn't have the support of the committee and that's why he walked fair enough too... Where to now for the jets 2 coaches walked already
