How are all the club's shaping up regarding their womens tag league teams ? Moss Vale are recruiting well and are always looking for more players . Hope this concept goes well , with the ladies Australian & NZ national teams competing at the recent Auckland 9s it should give some exposure to womens league, even though locally it's tag you have to start somewhere

Im a bit confused by this, I want to pay my $8 to see sometimes watch Under 18's, absolutely Reserve Grade and 1st Grade but I don't want to sit there watching women play Oztag, if I want to watch Oztag I will duck down to Elizabeth Park on a wednesday night

Ron Jones going around for another year at Narellan?
rumoured to have been down at training last night talking buisness with big dash tc. There is a buzz down at narellan I haven't seen for a long time since 04 when we took it out. we are very confident of snatching that trophy off picton come September. I know most/all clubs are keeping their cards very close to the chest but with these players being our spine I think we wil be very hard to stop. I'm not 100% on who else the boys have recruited or have coming into grade but building around this group will not be too hard. this is how the jets class of 15 should Take shape IMO

I would assume Jermaine haul will get first crack at 9 a very capable young player. We may still need a strike centre but like I said I'm not 100% sure who clint, dash and co have recruited to fill 3&4. anyone else dare to give an insight into their squads to keep this forum interesting?
I named big George and Manu gone weeks ago, huge loss to city.

if the Trimarchi rumour is true you get the feeling that when jets vs picton in the first round them 5 boys in the pack will be looking for him. Trimarchi great player at g6 level not sure if he would be reluctant to retaliate though
Trimachi was jets only 2 point player, and his not there :dunno:

Yeah the clearance came through last night for Ron.
I'm sure it will spark some conversation.
He served our club well for many years, and his experience helped us beat East Campbelltown in the 2011 Grand Final.
Good to see him still giving it a crack
Looks like jets coming together brilliantly won't be a tuffer set of forwards in the comp n with jonesy guiding them around they will be right there at the pointy end of the season. Should be year to break the drought
Jets will struggle with consistency and discipline IMO, though their new coach has knowledge and experience. There is no tougher pack but handling the emotions is where Jets come undone.

Picton, with Trimarchi rumoured to have jumped ship, are the frontrunners with class and depth, whilst Camden have been very quiet. :letmesee:

What happened to Appin's big announcement last weekend?
What happened to the point system? is it still in because I cannot see how Narellan are under the points, please lets not have another year of bullshit "yes they are under the points" year
The points are there each game for all to see. No complaints from Gr 6 management or other clubs so get over it.

Looks like jets have picked up good coach that I'm told will lead the joint well into the future. Just needs to harness all the enthusiasm. Can't wait for the season to start n to get to jets home games n watch them cause havoc

Going to be some titanic pack battles this season. Jets v Trimarchi will boost the gate at that first clash. Picton have gone all out for three straight with the two props and Trimarchi. Mike Worrincey won't take a backward step either, Provost will be pushing forward on the back of his carry.

Picton clearly top pick. Loss of young and clarke replaced with country prop and strong pommy plus trimarchi. Classy back line and dogged back row. Hard to beat! Rammers second pick a couple of quality outside backs will see them challenge picton. Loss of conlon and pes significant though. Appin to improve depth. Need to develop consistency and remain injury free will test top two. Narellan always sign quality but to bigger turnover of cattle year to year. Unknown quantity. Ditto Thirlmere both clubs should be more focused on developing their strong juniors instead of relying on chequebooks. The oaks need grunt to compete. Mittagong have been massively depleted and will miss finals. Oakdale rebuilding and unknown. Mossy to compete well and be hard to beat at community oval

We've picked up some handy players in the last week and a bit, that will ensure we can aim around that 5-7 bracket in 2015, and trade up the league.

Feeling a bit nervous Rob? Gibbs on the radar of 2 clubs for a return to the NRL

http://www.triplem.com.au/sydney/sport/nrl/news/2015/2/former-wests-tigers-and-cronulla-sharks-bryce-gibbs-attracts-interest-from-manly-sea-eagles-and-north-queensland-cowboys/

Whilst no one will begrudge the big fella if he returns for a NRL swansong his departure will leave a big hole in Appin's plans for 2015.
