I don't think you'll have the 4 for too long, he was all class, and from what i believe he is only young, looked very fitting of a 20's player at the least |

TC , We have had Roman (no 4) for the past few years. He won the Group 6 rising star award last season. He played SG ball but hasn't been picked for 20s this year but will try again next year. |

What's the go with the one punch rule this year? The Appin lock punched the big oakdale centre in the back of the head last week then got awarded the penalty. |

There were some strange rule interpretations during that game. Another where the workers fullback beat two defenders to have the ball stolen by flanno one on one. Is there a change of rule with the strip? Once a defender has made contact normally the next defender attempting cannot strip the ball, otherwise penalty.? |

It wasn't much of a punch, did it warrant a send off? That referee was massively out of his depth |

Zero tolerance, then yes, plus it was back of the head. Wen it first come in didn't matter how good the punch was players know if they choose to throw one they sit down |

Yeah the punch wouldn't have bruised a peach but zero tolerance used to be zero tolerance. I don't think he deserved to be sent for that but they need to draw a line in the sand and let everyone know what is allowed and what isn't |

Zero tolerance was the mark, but i think we've slowly got away from it again. Not fussed wither way I think the referee was just overwhelmed, because he gave the penalty to Appin as well. lol |

tips for this week Oakdale over picton 1-12 ... Picton have another trial day they are hosting on Sunday I think you will find that's were there strongest team will be. Mittagong over the oaks... 1 or 2 try's in it will be close. Narellan over Camden ... Camden are also trialling elsewhere and won't be fielding there strongest team. Appin over thirlmere ... Will be an interesting contest close game i think. |

I think Picton will want the money from the pre-season comp and will take a good side in |

How good was the standard of refereeing last night??appins lock decided he wants to throw punches again after getting away with it last week surely that's half his season gone!! And the ref got send off happy this week, groat got sent for having punches thrown at him!!! What motivates someone to officiate a game they clearly have no clue about? |

Groat was impressive, gave plenty of starch to a Thirlmere side that looked like it would be outmuscled and outplayed. Blake Sutton was fantastic, what a tough little bastard. Tom Moon was just about the best on ground for Appin, but once again just about everything hinges on Flanno, who was good. Keep him in cotton wool |

As usual Flanno class player of the night gives Appin a chance in every match |

I'm sure we will find out the groups stance on the rule after this week. Two weeks in a row I'm tipping he'll have a long time on the sideline |
