Sharpe won't be released to play with mates at Appin...city want compensation and for him not to play against City for two years wat a joke asking for money to release a guy that gave money back that he didn't have to... Don't look good for a board that says one thing then does the other no wonder a number of players have pulled out on the club..
WTF not play against City for 2 years ? Ha ha ha that's a gooden. The bloke has paid the cash let him play football it's not like his torn the club apart ? abit spiteful orana ?
Our club is happy for Dylan Sharp to play in Group 6, but under our terms. Negotiations are at a delicate stage, and now you boys want to sabotage Sharpy's chances of playing with you? You really think by jumping on here and bagging our Club/ Board, you have aided Dylan in some way? I know for certain that specific people at Appin did not want Dylan at their club.
If anything, you have just stiffened the resolve of the Board this evening- much as you did when bagging Thirlmere over a year ago.
Our Board may now just bring into play the the other three contracts and have the CRL enforce those...

Why did city ask for meeting with Dylan's dad wats that achieve and how does a public forum sabotage a guys release to play reggies..... Can I ask why did a board member say Gav graham and Dylan sharpe will be released TOGETHER..!!!! If sign on was paid back... Money paid back graham released sharpe is such a problem I don't get it

Dogman, what I do know, is that the airing of various details of this little saga has been a very poor reflection upon the governance of your club.
Ask Woodo at training how we've been working together to get Dylan with you, without compromising us, and I'm sure he'll give you the true story.

I think you're pretty close to the mark there.
The only one i think may change is Moss Vale over Thirlmere?

so did anyone see a 52-0 thumping coming? Picton way too strong. No one close to them at this point and can't see much changing

Rams missing r.borg. campbell. Goulton. Crouch. Gray. Wisby. Big holes left but rams still disappointing never in the game and made too many errors. Picton very clinical.

Told you they'd do it easy Scoop. Picton had a few gears left in them when they played us.
I tipped the Mossy win. I hear Thirlmere are a bit depleted at the moment. Is this the case?

Went out to watch my new "local team" Appin play today against Oakdale this afternoon.
First half saw a very clinical performance from Appin and at half time they led 36-0 looking very impressive.
If they are to be serious contenders though they must learn to be able to keep the pressure on for the full 80 mins as they lost the second half 12 - 20. Final score 48-20 :)

Hey maverick, agree with your comments. We need to complete our sets and have better discipline. We went well remembering we no flanno or Leki. Will be interesting to see how we fair against camden next Sunday at appin.

I will be there to watch with plenty of interest.

My youngest has told me he is going to come out of and retirement and going to have a go with reggies next week

My oldest watched as well, and I think his appetite was moistened.

Hopefully he may also change his way of thinking and join the boys. :drink:

There were 3 possible local 1st graders watching from behind the posts who would not do any harm to Appin's chances. :correct:

Yeah, Camden definitely under strength, but I really did not expect anything like that. The pies were super impressive. Forwards were brutal and the backs so slick. Our regular 5/8 was out so Donny Thompson had the 6 on with Letty at fullback. Rory Vale crossed for 4 tries, including a spectacular chip and chase right on full time.

Hopefully the judiciary makes an example of this incident. Fraser repeat offender how long do opposition and referees have to put up with his bs??? After crl implement changes to respect the officials he gets binned for dissent. Merit also been sent off a few times for fighting before.lengthy suspensions one would expect

Not sure what you are insinuating Taco but Jets made the semi those years.

That's a shame from talking to a few people around the club McMenemy could be the strong coach they need. Although not sure if the club really wants a strong coach
