hey guys, my first time posting. Ive been reading these posts for a couple of years and never seen anyone from the Warragamba club on here. thought id be the first. Bit disappointing in the lack of numbers our 2nd division side gets to games. Ive been to watch them a few times and they got some decent players this year but so hard to compete when no one turns up. They have a good spine of 1,6,7,9. The 7 apparently played in the Penrith first division and is a pretty good prospect of building the club around. And with most of our 18s side coming up next year things might be on the up out our way.
Welcome to the forum, wombats67. I see Blake Blackburn has been having a run up there too. He was Flegg prop for Penrith in 2006 when they won the comp. I'd have thought he'd easy be in the 4 man prop rotation of most clubs. Also Marc Hahn, ex SG Ball at Penrith. Why at the bottom of 2nd Division? You been blooding the 18s there yet? They should help win most 2nd Division games alone.

was at the Camden vs Picton game on the weekend and the send off's for 'fighting' were a joke group 6 has become very much like the nrl with the no punch rule you tend to see a lot of Hero antics from blokes who would otherwise be keeping their mouth shut a few years ago! just for Abit of banter who would be the best fighters in g6 I've got a few off the top of my head big George Peterson from Narellan, current mma heavyweight champ. I would suggest big cashmere could throw a few? pretty sure Rodney Merritt held a few a amature boxing tittles, jake fellows like wise? Heard a few war story's about donny Thompson, Sione kite from thirlmere as well. and hands down the best of them all little tommy brown playing reserve grade for Appin former Australian champ, can blue
God help some poor bloke should he ever swing one at Tommy. Fought for 3 World Titles.

Lack of numbers thats why. The 18s when they come up go really well. Blake left halfway through last round. And marc has been injured but when he has played has been good. The team should be doing better than what they are at the moment. The hooker corey lucas is a solid player, as is the halves dan martin and david franke. Also got a atrong forward pack. David williams player reps over in new zealand and jesse brown has been around for a while even though he is young. Just need more numbers.

A new coach for the Jets? Hard to keep up with. 4 for the season if my count is correct. I've dropped off watching them this year. Don't think I'll bother going back. The joint seems
A shambles

To be fair to PM, he's only helping the Jets for the rest of the season, by their own admission.

Maybe they should sign him up long term to get some stability in the joint. So far so good for him

What happened with Gibbs and Cashmere yesterday?
Heard there was a get square of sorts from round 1?
Midway through the 2nd half, Camden had the ball about 10m out from the Appin tryline and Cashmere offloaded the ball whilst falling to the ground, and coming in late with a massive swinging arm was Gibbs who connected flush across the head of Cashmere who layed there flat on his back for about 30 seconds before being taken off under the concussion rule.

Sounds like a very one sided turn of events.

What were the turn of events?
I doubt very much that the referees would've missed something like that?
I'm sure there is video of it?

I heard that Cashmere palmed Gibbs off, ran across the field, got tackled and made an offload and Gibbs came in late to hit flush with a swinging arm. Then fled from the scene of the crime. Looked to me like he didn't appreciate getting palmed off by cashmere and ran some distance to get a cheap shot in,

He has been a grub in all the games I've seen him play this year, pretty embarrassing for the bloke to carry on the way he has. Rob you need to accept that he has been lucky bit to miss any footy this far. Gets away with a lot of rubbish

Rob you shouldn't be one eyed because you have made a large investment in the player. The bloke who told me has seen the footage. No reason to tell stories.
