Orana you seem to be very good on The Group history.could you please tell me last time a team got a century put in them. Excluding your 1st grade on Sunday that is.
I vaguely remember The Oaks getting beat in 2000, it was the year after they made the GF. I think it was Camden that got them Did anyone beat Ingleburn by 100 in the combined comp?
Not too sure. We'll take our medicine though. We played when others wouldn't. City has never forfeited a 1st Grade fixture in 82 seasons of Group 6 history, or dropped out of 1st Grade, or played 2nd Division. We got beat 96-2 by Camden in 1954, under similar injury circumstances. Everyone gets their turn in the penthouse and in the basement. We're a 1st Grade Club, and it's our responsibility to get up to Picton and Camden's level; not to drag them down.
Good on you Orana an attitude (if not result) your club can be proud of. Shame a couple of other joints don't have the same attitude. Is there any truth to the rumor that Dasha maybe heading City's way next year with his cheque book? Bit of a stab at a certain club guys... Any truth on city stacking reggies for the finals??

Bit of a stab at a certain club guys... Any truth on city stacking reggies for the finals?? Yes. With some talented U/18 players. To which players in our reggies do you refer dogman? Corey Walpole? Corey returned to our club on May 29th. He hasn't been able to train due to work in Newcastle, and has played Reserves before 1sts. Inoke Amone? Nox has played reggies since Round 1 vs you guys, and I announced his signing to do such on this forum in December. Nox is also 38yo, and hadn't played since Mounties Jim Beam Cup in 2007. Just a shame that a 40yo Adam Doyle moved to Canberra because he was going to captain reggies at 13 for us.

Interesting games on the weekend:
Picton should have too much in reserve for Narellan and move forward to the GF dress rehearsal against Camden. In saying this though, they did lose the corresponding match in 2014, and this will give Narellan food for thought. This is a better Picton team. Picton by 26.
I think Appin has been foxing of late, and if Gibbs is in, will have a bit too much semi final experience for The Oaks; The Tigers have done wonderfully well in 2015 to break a 13 year final series drought, when last coached by the late and great Mick 'Silver Fox' Doyle. The Oaks have certainly hit form heading into the semis. Appin by 14.

Orana, Gibbs won't be playing this week. I don't know about foxing? We have been luck to field a team between 1st and reggies.

Appin foxing????? I don't care how strategic you are, no team that is a serious title contender gets 40 put on them week before the finals by a very average team at home.

They had Most of the bottom teams early in the round which placed them well at third but then they lost to narelian, the oaks, Picton (forfeit), mitta (game that cost mitta the finals) and mossy. And they could only manage 1 win.
Injuries play a role for every club throughout the year, that can't be used as an excuse. Finals means new competition.
The Oaks by 20 Picton by 14

Grand Final for 3rd between The Oaks and Narellan. The Oaks would have to fancy their chances now and have all the ascendancy.

The Jets definitely looked flat, but hard to tell if that was simply due to being blown away so early. To Narellan's credit they showed a lot more intensity in the 2nd 40, but it was obviously too late then. Jakiel Mariner was a wrecking machine for Picton. Letty scored 4, and I believe Blake Matthews got players player. He was very strong out wide.

Letty carved the way early and I thought Whitey was good today too. The Oaks should beat Narellan next week, then they'll get a home final and who knows......

congrats to the oaks! some of us thought this would be the case last year but never really gel'd. ayear together and the addition of Ross brown who has been massive for them see's them deep into the final series.. Without Matt braz as well big effort gotta love the underdog! I can see them upsetting Narellan TBH

Jakiel has been away here and there making music, Jason Thompson (Donny's brother) only started in June, Billy Carroll and Kenny have been injured at various stages. I believe Twisty will play this week too. That Rams pack is ultra impressive too. Going to be a cracking game.
