To all the people that have contacted me with interest and to the others that are just plan interested. Yes we are looking for a new coach for the 2016 season, if anyone is interested please contact me.
Where's dane off to?
He is over coaching and wants time out of footy.
Not to many clubs left to destroy I'd say
so ended at Appin on bad terms? could see him out at oakdale in 2016 possibly ? with his loyal followers Of flanno moon etc
Bit rough, he got Appin a start, and they've made the finals back to back Moony really went there out of necessity, Flanno followed him from Thirlmere, I don't think Dane would claim to be a great strategic coach
I still believe we will see woodo around again in 2016 my money would be on Oakdale Woodo is a good man. There aren't too many who put their hand up to do what he does for footy in the area. Sure he cops a bit of pocket money, but when the hours are calculated, it is a love job.
I received strong mail yesterday that the AFL has a long term strategic plan for the Narellan- Willowdale corridor, with limitless cash to throw at it. They aren't going away. We need to keep making our competition the best it can be.

Maybe Appin could do a swap with Narellans original coach for this season. Think he coached a game or two before having a fallout with them. I hear he's still keen to coach in group 6. Has coached Cabramatta to a Ron Massey cup premiership.

I wasn't there today. Can Picton reverse the result? Can, yes. It'll be interesting though. I thought the class of the Borgs was a huge factor in their win. Picton have to get up and shut them down, and also Chris Browne, if they're to do better in 2 weeks. We did it tough with troops. Peters broke himself on Cashmere in the opening 5 minutes, putting his head in the wrong spot. Jakiel Mariner didn't play after being so unstoppable against Narellan and Nick Taylor is yet to return. Who knows. Camden are very good.

Not quite what I heard, although I don't think you're too far from the mark. I was told he was in Melbourne for a couple days doing something related to his music, recording, gigging, not sure. He was due to fly back on the Friday but had to stay on and apparently the guy who was going to drive him back on the Saturday fell through. So it wasn't just that he didn't show. Poisel and Dowsey were aware of it. As far as this week goes, I don't know. I sure hope so.

Tips for this weekend: U/18Bs: the Roos to roll The Oaks and give us both 18As and 18Bs in the GF, Sunday week at Orana Park. U/18As: Camden by 4 over Thirlmere, to secure all 3 grades in the GF for the Rammers. First time since 1994? 2nd Div: Robertson (everybody's sentimental faves) to roll defending premiers Narellan. Reserves: Oakdale to oust Minor Premiers Picton, with too much big game experience. 1sts: Picton to obliterate The Oaks fairytale, and set up what will be the highest quality 1st Grade GF for some time.

From what I saw on the weekend I must agree with you Orana. Only difference maybe Narellan in 2nd div. Hopefully the Oaks can be competitive in 1sts they don't deserve to finish with a flogging.

Always hard to pick player of the year given its the referees opinion post match for 3.2.1. From what I have heard and seen Ryan Borg has been Camden best although he missed a few games. Mitch Brasington I would imagine polled well leading The Oaks around. Maybe a guy like Thorpe from Mitta polling consistently? Flanno missed too many games. Provost from Picton a chance very underrated. Begovich may have missed too many to poll well. Who knows?

I doubt anyone from Picton will get a look in, similar to the last few years there hasn't really been a stand out. Maybe Donny Thompson, he'd be close to leading try scorer, with Letty. And yes Provo has been excellent, I just don't see him polling too many refs points, not flashy enough.

I had this conversation with oparnz last night. I think Browney will be a shoe in When he got it on 2009 playing on the wing for Camden a lot of people were shocked, myself included, but the guy scored a lot of tries and kicked a lot of goals, and he has a very good relationship with the referees. Not much different to this year. I don't like the referees voting on player of the year, it's a poor way of hailing the "best" player in group 6. There is meant to be a group official at each game now, surely they could adjudicate.

I heard Ben Baker Former group 6 is in the running player of the year in the sydney Shield .He got top try scorer with 24 trys and leading point scorer with 224 points . Wonder if he could have done it again this year in g6

Hey, did anyone hear the one about the group that introduced a two referee system for the first time in a grand final?
