Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't reserve grades points count towards first grades? If it is still the case Workers will have plenty of points to splash out,If it's the same reggie outfit as last year that side would be lucky to rack up 50 points max.TC? and could some 1 post the points and the way it works please. |

If narellan can turn over a new playing roster every year and be under the points then I'm sure oakdale can, the point system is good in the sense that it stops clubs importing a superstar team in one year but it severely handicaps a club like oakdale that had no juniors. And when reserve graders get told they can't play this week because they're worth too many points! |

Big rumour out of Dragons camp that they have signed a very good quality 1st grade and reserve grade coaches. 1st grade is a Former NSW country rep and will go along way to getting the very proud Mossy Dragons back on track. Big chance a number of players will come back to play under him. Let's wait and see. I believe official announcement from club may come out in next couple of days.

Just saw a photo of Robbie Payne in a Mossy Polo with President Mick Sutton Good on ya Sutto, great work! Apparently all 4 Brazzos were spotted talking to The Oaks at the pub last night. 2 of them were obviously there as coaches. I don't think it has been mentioned on here, but I think Matt and Mitch are co-coaching The Tigers in 2015. What's with all the negativity on here? Everyone takes this joint as a chance to anonymously take pot shots at people and clubs. We're out there in 2015 to compete and enjoy playing first grade again |

Payne would surely have a couple that want to follow him, they had geddes and still weren't competitive they need more than Payne on his own, assuming that a couple are going with him mitta definatley brought back to the pack and will make for a cracker of a local derby. |

Well said TC. Every club has ups and downs its about getting through times. Gal or should i say einstein im sure the club wont be resting on payne solely. Committee is discussion with several quality players to build the club with its jnrs. Next year is about being competitive again and work from that |

Goodluck Rusty, people forget that the clubs have been around for a long time and it all goes in cycles. It was only 4 years ago that you guys were premiers!!! Any chance of getting young Thorpey back at Mossy now that Payne is there? |

Would be nice to have all mossy jnrs back playing that are playing all over the place in Mittagong, jamberoo, Bundanoon etc. No need for imports when you can fill quality with locals .

Mate it would be nice plus ben murcie and rhys mclaren all mossy jnrs and as disco said there is at least 6 other locals playing elsewhere that are quality 1st graders like brad larter, tim small, rhys lenarduzzi, josh saunders, robbie noble, josh champion. Would need to buy some size for up front (like hens teeth) and with some good kids coming thru we could do worse |

The Moss Vale Hume Coal Dragons RLFC is pleased to announce the 2015 coaching staff. Both the senior and junior clubs are delighted about the appointment of former Western Suburbs, Illawarra, Country 1st & 2nd’s and Group 6 representative player Robbie Payne as the clubs Head Coach for the upcoming season. For the Reserve Grade position we are still interviewing applicants and expect to make an announcement in the next couple of weeks, however we are extremely pleased to appoint club stalwarts Paul Maloney as Coach and John Clarke as his Assistant in the U18’s position. The club hopes to assembly the 2015 player roster around a foundation of locals playing elsewhere and the junior clubs players coming through. In announcing this we are calling on any interested players to make contact with us or please turn up to pre-season training which will commence 6.45pm at Community Oval on the 2nd December 2014. With such a strong wealth of knowledge in the 2015 coaching ranks, the committee would like to wish it’s appoint staff, Good Luck for the upcoming season. If you are an interested player or would like more information please contact President – Michael Sutton on 0405 237 727 or email president.mvsrlfc@gmail.com . |
