AllSaints
Jan 13 2015, 06:47 PM
I was recently advised that All Saints JRLFC will be fielding 1st and 2nd or 3rd grade teams in the SCC for 2015. Great news. Training is Tuesday and Thursday at Hillier Oval at 7pm under the guidence of head coach Alan Fry. For details ring Alan on 0417 686 005. If you're wondering, Tubby, that human keg on legs, will be backing up again, so if you want to square accounts with Tubby it's best to sign up to play. Glad to hear Easts are back - our old rivals. Always a hard game. Anyhow, Easts have plenty of reasons to thank All Saints - for those that like history - the Easts v All Saints A grade games around the early 2000's were always well contested in the old Wests 6 team A grade competition but one cold Sunday arvo Saints hammered Easts. Easts were shattered and the old Eagles hard heads sat down and vowed to rebuild the club - well the rest is history with the Eagles filling their trophy cabinet over the past few seasons. No truth in the rumour Peter "Big Show" Cashel is making a comeback as player or coach for St Christophers "Old Fellas' 3rd grade.
We might see several clubs field 2 teams which will be great for the draw and the gates. Best of luck for all clubs in 2015.
Go the mighty Saints
Ps. I'm still happily retired from all things Rugby League.
Yes we had some really good matches in the past, and the game you talked about I remember well. We are all very happy to see our guys back in A Grade as well as the Sydney Shield. Looking forward to see the local grudge match :winner:

The Mighty East Campbelltown Eagles would like to welcome Richard Barnes as the Sydney Shield Coach for 2015, Barnzy the coach of the Eagles 2012 Undefeated Claytons Cup Premiership winning team, first started with the Eagles in 2007 and since this time has helped fill the Eagles Trophy Cabinet, the Eagles Record under Barnzy's Guidance is as follows :
2007 Kiama 9-aside Runners Up
2007 Canterbury 1st Grade Premiers
2009 Cabramatta 9 aside plate winners
2010 Group 6 Preseason Premiers
2011 Group 6 Preseason Premiers
2011 Group 6 Runners Up
2012 Kiama 9-aside Runners Up
2012 Group 6 Undefeated Premiers
2012 Claytons Cup Winners

It's with great pleasure that we see the return of one of the finest coaches in the Macarthur District to the Mighty Eagles for 2015
How come he didn't coach in 2014?
Are you serious?
Yes, hence the question :letmesee:

Settle petal :finger:

ECRLFC raised the point that easts had won these alll these pre-season premierships and the tainted Gr 6 premiership under his guidance and when, by Easts admission they won the biggest competition in their history ie Sydney Shield, with another coach, that coach is not backing up.

I was just curious thats all. :drink:

Sydney Shield coach Gary Potts has offered to take up another coaching role within the club, Gary done a fantastic job to fill in while Barnzy was away, Gary is also a Vice President of the Eagles and a very good club man to step up to the plate, we are so fortunate to have such good coaches within the club :winner:

How are the numbers looking at All Saints and other clubs? Can anyone give any updates? According to the Group 6 forum Wests don't have a competition and the SCC is miles behind Group 6 with regards to respect, is it just me or do i smell bias?

What about this from easts facebook page?
"Great effort tonight guys, grades are building well for 2015, we don't need Tim Sheens at our training, we have Richard Barnes"

His coaching ability will be highlighted this year without hoare and dunley running the show, or will they employ another "co-coach" to do all the coaching again.

So what was Barnzy's excuse when he won the 2007 Premiership without Hoare or Dunley? 😛

What other clubs apart from Easts & All Saints are conformed to play firsts or reggies in SCC?

"I" stated that Wests don't have a competition on the other forum in response to you bagging Group 6, as if they did they would be playing in a district competition like Penrith or Parramatta, not a combined comp as they only have 4 - 5 senior teams for the last few years.

No one stated that SCC is miles behind that I could see? The standard of player in the SCC isn't as high as other comps not just Group 6 as apart from one or two teams their are no ex NRL players in the comp (some in the Souths teams) that I saw last year.

Most people, like me, would like to see both competitions be successful. All the ingredients are there for this to be the case.

It seems you have a grudge to bear against Group 6 mate, I thought that this would have been over after last year????? Move on please.

We have seen your correct source before, 2014 you where all saying we wouldn't be playing, no one wanted our club etc etc etc, once again your wrong, we had the Carlton league asking us to play in their comp for 2015 but we declined the offer, and for you to say Sam Hoare coached gets even better, Anyone knows that Sam Hoare missed many training sessions and missed many games last year, and Coach Gary Potts done an outstanding job, I bet you would love to have a Barnzy or Pottsy at Mossy

Potts couldn't coach 3rd grade to a premiership in g6 but coaches Sydney shield winning side, ^o) something doesn't add up,

I wouldn't entertain Barnes or Potts coaching mossy ? I would pick Tim Sheens, he has slightly better credentials :correct: , anyway enough of the hypotheticals
