How is your squad looking for SCC? When do your trials start
The side is forming well, we have a very fast Backline with plenty of guys who can score tries, we can boast 4 players that have been past leading try scorers, Baker for Group 6, Amanono Tovio Bundy Cup, Connor and Moustakas have been leading try scorers for the Eagles, awesome speed just there, 4 guys battling for the halves with Standing, Connor, Marcus Pare, and a new signing being announced next week. Powerful running wingers and centers in Milo, Gio, and Toutai

Our forwards look mobile with Mason back, new forwards to the club Roger Langi and Guy Thompson was great in last weeks trial, and 80 minute back rowers in Eggleton, Slater and Da Silva, the new hooker Reece also looked sharp and so did Eddie Vatuvai.

So yes it's looking positive for 2015

Our comp starts next week so no more trials as we have our launch this weekend.

Nice wirk, what about your A grade squad
A Grade is forming well, we have Junior Pritchard as Coach, and long serving players like Ravi Prakash that will concentrate on the A Grade side, our A Grade side is Really our Reserves Sydney Shield, so a lot of young talent that wants to aim higher when given the chance.

We also have our 19's which have a lot of players that want to take the next step of Sydney Shield, they are looking very strong with huge numbers

At the moment, we have a confirmed Sydney Shield, A Grade, Under 19's and Under 17's, the 3rd Grade is probably not looking the best, the numbers are not consistant enough to run and its best not to enter the side, then see them struggle every week. Its probably an added cost to the club of around $10,000 that has also got to be brought into question. We have a couple more weeks so we will see how it goes.

Have easts converted to NFL as well? Couldn't the coach narrow it down to 17? How much did Windsor flog the "mighty" eagles by?

We had a number of players still waiting to be cleared so that explians the large number of listed players.

It wasnt the start we where looking for, but considering the amount of changes in the team, we really struggled in completing sets.

We went down to a young and enthusiastic Windsor side 42-6

We have Belrose this week at Waminda Oval so the guys will have to work hard at training to turn things around

Hey Folks,
Starting from this Friday I'll be on C91.3 fm for a quick segment about what's happening around rugby league in Macarthur, Camden, Wollondilly, & the Highlands etc. Every Friday morning will be a weekend preview and every Monday will be a weekend wrap.
Not sure of exactly what times yet. That'll be worked out in the next day or two. There's a facebook page set up for it if you'd like to stay up to date, here:
