Meanwhile, at Campbelltown, your senior Magpies will be looking to atone for a couple of rusty performances in round one. The finals race is hotting up in the junior rep competitions, and our SG Ball team is hanging tough, looking to break back into the top eight this weekend, while our Harold Matthews boys are looking to consolidate a top four position. This week, they face the competition leaders (Yes, both grades) in the Balmain Tigers at Leichhardt Oval. The Matts will get underway at 11:30am with the SG Ball kicking off at 1pm. On Sunday, your Sydney Shield team will travel into Silvertail territory to face the Belrose Eagles at Lionel Watts Reserve, Belrose, kick off at 3pm. Your RMC boys have the bye, which will give a great opportunity for our goalkicking fullback extraordinaire, Shannon Gallant, to give some coaching to the next generation of Magpie talent, who seemed like they wanted in last weekend! We have a huge day at Campbelltown, with four games coming your way, including a black and white-out!! At 10:30am, your Harold Matthews boys will look to bounce back with a win over South Sydney. The Bunnies need to win to stay in the final hunt, while a black and white triumph will guarantee finals football for our Magpies! That situation will be very much reversed in the SG Ball fixture, starting at midday. Wests are desperately looking for a win to stay alive, while Souths can all but lock up a semi final start with a win. At 1:30pm, your Sydney Shield Magpies will look to bounce back after a heartbreaking loss last week, with either us or Asquith to register first points for 2015. Rounding out the day at 3pm is the Ron Massey Cup. Asquith have three wins from as many starts in 2015, and THE REAL Magpies will look to end that streak on the back of captain courageous Shannon ‘Mighty Mouse’ Gallant. Make sure your voice is heard this weekend as we hunt for a big day of wins at home! It’s the end of the regular season in the junior rep competitions this weekend as we head back to Campbelltown for another full day of fantastic football action getting underway at 10:30am on Saturday when your Allied Express Magpies face Penrith in the Harold Matthews. Our boys will be looking for a vastly improved performance after being smashed up 46-4 by South Sydney last Saturday, and coach Anthony Moore will be revving the boys up to the hilt! At 12pm, we say farewell to our SG Ball team as they are unable to qualify for the finals. However, they more than demonstrated there is plenty of pride and passion in the black and white jumper after they pushed South Sydney all the way in a game they were expected to be given a hiding in, so let’s cheer them home to an upset this weekend against the Panthers! At 1:30pm, your Sydney Shield team will face Mounties, who are three from four so far this season. After a gutwrenching 26-all draw last weekend, your Magpies are desperate to go one better, and with Tyson Tie Tie lining up at fullback again, you have to think we are in this one up to our eyeballs. At 3pm it is Ron Massey Cup time, with your Allied Express Magpies hosting Mounties. Mounties are unbeaten in three starts so far this season, which provides plenty of motivation in itself for your Magpies to get one over last year’s runners up. However, there’s even more motivation, with Sam Aiga and the Bristow brothers returning, so let’s make sure we can hear your Magpie voices nice and loud and send them back to Mount Pritchard minus the two points! HAROLD MATTHEWS 1 James Tautaiolefua 2 Billy Omerod 3 Sam Rembridge 4 Nathan Patolo 5 Bob Faamita 6 Gus Garzaniti 7 Ailand Davis-Pihema 8 Jonothan Talamaivao 9 Christian Urso 10 Lachlan Russell 11 Lucas Castle 12 Henry Lealuga-Puhotau 13 Alex Potifara 14 Roy Satchi Brown 15 Zane Rifai 16 Ben Seufale 17 Lachlan Natapu 18 Jack Highgate 20 Denzel Tavui 22 Ryan Wessel COACH Anthony Moore SG BALL 1 Jamen Johnson 2 Joseph Faalavaau 3 Toa Mata’afa 4 Harrison Coskerie 5 Jye Brooker 6 Hosea Leuea 7 Netane Masima 8 Taniela Paseka 9 Ryan Leet 10 Evander Titie-Anetelea 11 PJ Leifi 12 Ray Stone 13 Elijah Mannah 14 Jake Scott 15 Hans Ta’ala 16 Cody Benson 17 Tala Mauigoa 18 Lenny Suani 19 Julius Taavao 20 Junior Wright 21 Liam Cassidy COACH Josh White SYDNEY SHIELD 1 Tyson Tie Tie 2 Tom Satterwaite 3 Te Kapua Murray 18 Jamian Iroa 5 Apaolo Tea Lama 6 Damian Doan 7 Jeremy Marshall-King 16 Jake Davidson 9 Cheyne Pike 10 Ben Mitchell 11 Ronny Palumbo 12 Esan Marsters 13 Hayden Johnson 4 Jamie Hill 8 Peter Ta’auso 14 Jack Wheelhouse 15 Daniel Bell COACH Daniel Beardshaw RON MASSEY CUP 1 Shannon Gallant 2 John Sila 3 James Goring 4 Limoni Kamuta 5 Nathan Hourigan 6 Blake Lazarus 7 Wayde Dunley 8 Jim Laulilli 9 Peter Nay 10 Dwayne Lemafa 11 David Harris 12 Dane Coskerie 13 Kurt Atkinson 14 Tom Harris 16 Marcel Owen 17 Hayden Johnston 20 John Joseph COACH Nathan Waters |

Iiiiiiiiiiit’s finals time!!! Yes, the junior rep regular season is finished for 2015, and we have a black and white casualty unfortunately. Our SG Ball team came up with three wins this season, which wasn’t enough to see them through to the finals. However, our Harold Matts boys are storming ahead, finishing in fourth position. This weekend, at Pepper Stadium (Or Penrith Park, for those of us who remember a time when it was Lang Park, Shark Park and the SFS), your Allied Express Magpies will face Parramatta in the first qualifying final at 1pm. The winner goes straight through to the Grand Final Qualifier, and gets a week off, while the loser backs up in a sudden death match next week. With our senior Magpies having a week off courtesy of the split round, only one Magpie team will fly this weekend, so get out to Penrith on Saturday to see the boys have a sushi lunch of diced eel! HAROLD MATTHEWS 1 James Tautaiolefua 2 Billy Omerod 3 Roy Satchi Brown 4 Nathan Patolo 5 Bob Faamita 6 Gus Garzaniti 7 Ailand Davis-Pihema 8 Jonothan Talamaivao 9 Christian Urso 10 Lachlan Russell 11 Alex Potifara 12 Henry Lealuga-Puhotau 13 Ben Seufale 14 Rua Ngati 15 Zane Rifai 16 Lucas Castle 17 Hyrum William-Pulotu 18 Rimo Inu 19 Maurice Faaae 20 Denzel Tavui 21 Ryan Wessel 22 Sam Rembridge 23 Lachlan Natapu 24 Jack Highgate COACH Anthony Moore |
