What use is he to Mittagong if he doesn't want to be there ? I can understand clubs not wanting to lose their top line players but if they don't want to be at your club than I wouldn't want them. |

I certainly would hate to lose good players every now and then but Jesus, as adults why the hell don't you have the right to play a "game" where ever you want and for who ever you want???? Players are human - they will chase cash, who wouldn't? Build a culture at your club and players will stay regardless of money - this Group seriously needs to get with the times!! |

Any early predictions for the 2016 season. Obviously Picton and Camden are teams to beat but are there any teams set to surprise or disappoint. I hear Narellan has recruited extensively but will they implode again? |

The Oaks to go even better this year. Same squad as last year with the addition of a few signings from Camden. |

Camden to struggle!!! Lucky to make the 5. Would be interested to hear who the oaks have signed thought Camden's players were retiring not heading out to the oaks |

The Board of the CCKRLFC is proud to announce the signing of Ray Cashmere for the 2016 CRL Group 6 season. Starting his playing days with two seasons at the City Junior Club in the early 1990s, Ray returns to where it all began, after a decorated career in the NRL and UK Super League. Ray returns with a passion to help Campbelltown's young Rugby League players improve their games and pass on his vast knowledge and experience. Welcome home to the 'Roos, Cashy! |

Thanks footydad. He was poached by ESA and played against Highlander's great Claymore Panthers side; also had a run at C'town Warriors before playing at Mac Saints A Grade under Browny. Would have to be close to the last Magpies NRL player from 1999 to still be playing. We've signed well through the University comp and will have a squad capable of running 4th or 5th on paper at the moment. Re Oakdale, I believe Manu and Big George are trekking up Burragorang Rd? |

He escaped suspension Rob. as we all know. We had an Appin player attend training last night saying you'll only have 2nd Division in 2016? Who have you boys signed? |

Orana, I can assure everyone we will have 1st grade, reggies and u18s this season. There has been talk of also adding a 2nd division team due to the overflow of u18s and Reggies at the club. I would prefer The city club contact me via email if they wish to discuss clearances with any Appin players. Player signings are still progressing , all will be revealed soon. |

He'll be the standard 25 points Mustard. An interesting 2 point player will be a former Bears NSW Cup forward we are talking to, who I didn't know was a City junior. |

I won't be contacting you Rob for players who can't catch, let alone seek transfer Can you release one 1st Grade name to keep the forum ticking over here in Silly Season? Our roster is almost finalised for both senior grades, just chasing a few key positions in 1st Grade, as most of us have to. Footydad I can't agree with the Woodo bagging, just don't get it. Aside from being a good, passionate footy bloke, he has done far more good than bad to the Group. People see his weaknesses and have a go, as is their right when you put your head above the trench in footy. Great bloke to have a beer with and yarn about Group 6 footy It can't be denied that he put Appin on the map, took Thirlmere to a GF and arguably did the hard yards at Narellan 2010-11, upon their return to 1st Division 1st Grade. Agreed that his departure from his clubs is messy at best. Edited by Orana87, Jan 16 2016, 06:12 AM.

Explain to me how he can escape suspension after head butting a player in front of the grand final crowd and the video footage? If so its a disgrace. |

It seems like he avoided the suspension because of the retirement. The Jakiel would of avoided a suspension so a park footy incident didn't run into his nrl career. Wouldn't be suprised if group 6 wimp out and let him play. |

I'll say it fellas - All players from the GF escaped suspension cause the referees failed to lodge their reports in time.... Case dismissed!!!!!! |
