The 'Burgh had 7 out, and have been pillaged by Dapto, Collies and Wests. A lot of football to be played just yet.
You boys had a good win away at Warra?

What's happening at mossvale? Players unavailable first few weeks?? Or bigger issue? Narellan not very convincing for the money they are spending

Heard 100k+. Looking at the playing roster and the billboards they got for jerseys I would say it's probably right

I think Mossy just need a few more players on a regular basis to be competive . It's had with a small club to build numbers!

Mossy have shown that if a club is determined to be a first grade club they'll do what it takes. Some heavy defeats early on is a small price to pay for the club pride being shown. They've refused to take the soft option and retreat to a reserve grade only side. The players that have stepped up in recent weeks will only be better for it. Have heard that a few key signings are already in the works for mossy. Take note rob, that's how it should be done

Or is it irresponsible to play kids in a division they aren't up to? Depends if you'd be willing to risk injury to kids who have to work all week i suppose.

I don't know Moss Vale's situation, but if they are playing young blokes in the top grade, good luck to them
At the end of the day the club can't force anyone to take the field, and it's up to the player to take his place in the squad.
Sutto and Payney are good people and I'm sure they will navigate their way through this rough patch

I have no doubt mossy have done the right thing by their group of players as has Rob with his group. My point is it is hard to judge from the outside looking in if u don't have a good knowledge of the playing group at a particular club. Im sure there is good people running mossy and appin who have worked what is best for their playing group and not just some clubs or people who want an easy kill.

Mossy will be fine now with Eamonn Hillen and a few more he is bringing up the mountain. Of course, they'll have their tough days in 2016. Their challenge will be to retain him for next season and build around him.
Full credit to Sutto who is the driving force keeping that great club in 1st Grade at the moment, and the entire Payne family who are all involved in one way shape or form in the Club's operations.
They have some fair players there- the fullback Valenitizis is handy and troubled us at times.

Can also add rugby league journeyman Ron Jones to the dragons

Full credit to the Mittagong club on the construction of their new facilities, and all with the utilization of volunteer labour. The officials' box is like the SFS. Probably the club with the biggest volunteer base in the Group, from my observation.

With no club footy this weekend it seems like a perfect time to announce that members of one of Group 6's founding clubs is going global...

17 current and past players from the Spuddies are heading to the Netherlands in a little over a week to take part in the Rotterdam 9s Rugby League Tournament.

It will be held on Saturday 7th May and we will be competing against 7 other teams from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium to try and bring the trophy down under.

The Spuddies took part in the tournament in 2005 when it was last held and with the re-incarnation of the competition there this year we were invited back and the boys here have jumped at the chance!

One of our opposition teams - the Nootdorp Musketiers - have also arranged a lunch to take place at their sponsor's pub on Friday 6th May to watch the Australia vs. NZ Test match and help spread the word about Rugby League

Perhaps you could give it a mention on your weekly radio wrap Foal? Should be a great trip.

More info search Nederlandse Rugby League on Facebook!

The way I read it is that they have been served breach notices which will carry a 12 month sentence if accepted
I guess they have the option to fight it
