Limp Bizkit Reunite

It’s no secret that before late last year, vocalist Fred Durst and guitarist Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit weren’t exactly on speaking terms. That all changed, however, when the opportunity to put all that behind them presented itself and the two decided to meet at their manager’s house last December.

Borland tells Kerrang! Magazine that he "knew it was gonna be easy" to reunite with Durst and that he was "glad to see the guy who was gonna be glad to see me." Durst had similar comments, saying: "I was excited when he walked in the room. We were laughing, talking, having a blast. It felt like family. Families have their disputes. We just moved forward and picked up like we never had a problem. It wasn't like a therapy session at all."

He continues, "Wes and I have a very powerful presence and both of us being that way, quite controlling... Two lions in the same cage is a bloody mess. That's why it works. There's something about it."

"We said that we were sorry about things in the past but didn't really get into specifics," Borland adds. "I said that I was only going to base my feelings towards him and the band on current behavior, not on past behavior. I've eaten my words a lot when it comes to our relationship. I ended up realizing that I've been an ass in a lot of ways and I sort of put all the blame on [Fred] in the past."

Borland goes on to describe being in Limp Bizkit as "like home." He continues, "We have a lot of differences, but we are more alike that I would have liked to think. I'm 34 now and am finally realizing that you get a lot more out of people if you're willing to give. I wasn't ready to compromise before."

When asked how many meeting it took for him to rejoin the band, Borland replied, "I was in from that first meeting."

But I’ve also found that I’m able to endure. Overcome. And in the process grown stronger. Smarter. Better.”

That's cool. I like to see people sort out their problems. They had some good tunes to.. hopefully they still got it.
