Since WM wwe has been a little different it seems to be trying alot more and taking risks with younger talent more so than it has done for many years could be a shift in the direction the company is headed. Got me thinking could we see anouther attitude era in the coming years? for me i would like to see it though i dont see it being on the same level, also this has something to do with some of the younger wreslters coming through. The main stars currently that will have a long future yet like Edge Jericho and such will still be great, but some of the younger talent that is coming through i just dont see some of them getting to the same level alot of them are very bland. Once some of the young stars get into the main event i just dont see it being all that interesting the only three i really see making it to that level are Morrison, Swagger (which i believe has a big future) and Ziggler. To be honest though i think we have been spoilt some of the greats that have been in the industry and i really dont see some of these guys reaching a level that these others achieved. Anouthe reason is because of the gimmicks WWE is going to end up with a roster with basically 5 different gimmicks, i think the younger talent lack gimmicks that are larger and life such as Sting Undertaker Kane Steve Austin The Rock. Ok thats it, seemed to go a bit random towards the end but i think i got my point across. |

As awesome as a new Attitude Era would be.. I don't see it happening, and I'll tell ya why. Wrestling fans have built up the Attitude Era in their heads so much, that I don't believe anything else could ever compare. For over 10 years now we've been praising the greatness of that era, and your right, we're spoiled. As for the superstars today. I completely agree with you that Morrison, Ziggler, and Swagger have what it takes. Hopefully the WWE spends a little time building them up, rather than just handing them the title. Makes everything more believable, and epic when they finally reach the top, if they have to struggle first. I also see a lot of potential in MVP, Kingston, Truth, Benjamin, and Santino. Also guys like Christian, Cena, and Orton will be around for a good while along with Jericho and Edge. I don't see any shortage of stars anytime soon. |

Yeah, one thought i have had though once the era of stars we know have gone or retired the characters that have come and gone i feel wrestling will seem a little empty. I didnt mention MVP well because in his current state as a face he is a weak character MVP shines when he is a heel he just isnt suited as much to being a face. I think what WWE needs to do is run with characters a little more wiser, some guys can pull off being a face or heel but i think the best characters are when it doesnt feel forced. Take Edgg CM Punk and Jericho all amazing heels. I think its a problem though the faces in WWE they all seem to be running in the same direction really and just because they do good things means the crowd should like them? Take Cena his character just seems so fake, when you compare it along side The Rock or Hogan those characters felt more natrual. |

I agree, MVP was a much better heel. And since he was drafted to RAW, and made his turn, I've forgotten about him several times. Cena works fine as a face I think.. but I always liked him as a heel. He had an original gimmick, that made people laugh, and could get really mean to boot. He made a great heel. |
