The ratings for both Impact, and Raw seem pretty low. And I for one was thinking maybe people just don't wrestling like they used too. Then it hit me. The internet! How many people do you think watch wrestling online. And never even bother tuning in to the actual program, on TV. Probably a lot. And wouldn't that really hurt the ratings? And it probably has an even bigger affect on PPV sales/ratings.

Honestly.. the internet is the single worst thing to ever happen to Professional Wrestling!

The major point is alot of fans during the Attitude era are gone now they dont like the WWE product anymore and the PG rating now doesnt help bringing back those people.

For me some of the major things as a wrestling fan alot of the energy and excitment is gone its become predictable in many ways.

This is just a list of things that are missing which made wrestling great to watch.

*Tag team wrestling
*Cruiserweights
*Mid card titles actually meaning something
*Hardcore title

If you look back say 10 years how many great tag teams were there?

Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boys, APA, T&A, Too Cool, Edge & Christian, New age Outlaws

Look at those tag team and look at how many made it to the main event or to a highier level.

Jeff Hardy, Bradshaw, Rikishi, Edge and Christian.

I agree that there are other things that are hurting wrestling shows right now. But I stick with my theory that the internet is the worst thing to ever happen to the business. And not just the streaming PPV, and TV shows hurting ratings. Spoilers are an unfortunate disease, there's probably no cure for :(
