Ok for those who don't know what this is all about. Redz is from another wrestling forum. He has told me that he is willing to move himself and his members here to this forum. To merge the two. This topic is to discuss the details.

Yeah, basically what I've been talking about with Faro is just merging together not only our forums, but all our minds, and potential to creating something fresh and exciting. But heck you guys already have most of it nailed down, I mean I'm loving that Award concept!

The problem begin with our forum 4 months ago.We were just lacking the people willing to dedicate themselves. Everyone says they enjoyed the forum but no one wanted to go the extra mile. No offense to the members at all though, they are/were great people. But it was personally frustrating especially with me and Kevin(other Admin) schedules not hectic, but not allowing much time as we'd like to have to focus on Presentation and making sure news and discussion were up-to-date. That ended up causing a decline in our forum in which we've have not been able to pick ourselves up from and no new members show up.

So we decided, hey you know what, we just need to re-think our strategy and find other people as passionate and willing. And here you guys are! lol.

I hope I didn't ramble on there LOL but I just wanted to explain the story behind this whole ordeal so people can get an idea of who we are and not a wrong one lol.

But basically I've been around the block a few times, I've been posting on forums for 4 years, been designing with Photoshop 4 years aswell and moderated forums. Not only have I gathered experience but ideas and concepts I've wanted to bring to life. I was waiting for the right time to pull them off on my forum, but that never happened. But now that we're gathering all our strengths, I'm confident they can't fail here.

The main points we can start working on is expanding the Wrestling Discussion. We can get discussion out of anything and everything that is wrestling. It is possible to separate everything and break it down. Like, a forum for every show. There can NEVER be too much talk about wrestling, trust me haha.

Another thing I can focus on here is GFX. I mentioned in a showcase topic that I don't do much these days BUT I have resources that would be a drawing point plus I'm hellbent on the GFX League I was doing that just needed abit more spark of activity. I can bring this over here and make it work. Here are some banners I made. Click Click Click Click Click. My creative mind is just begging to present the themes I have for the rest of the month.

There's just too much to be said for one post and I don't want to start feeling like I'm listing things to come across as a know-it-all. I'll just stop here lol. But yeah guys, we work on wrestling discussion, GFX, SVR and build excitement for PPV's every month, repackage ourselves and market properly, we have something epic on our hands. Btw Sorry for the run-on sentences haha.

Nice banner man. Especially the WrestleMania graphics comp thing. Awesome!

So far I haven't heard anything that isn't doable. Most of your ideas are ideas that we share here anyway. And I know how big a pain it is to keep up to date with discussion.. especially in the fast passed world of professional wrestling.


This is slightly off topic, but I feel that it fits well enough so I'm gonna mention it. Me and Jago have nearly finished a new custom skin, which I will more than likely set as the new default skin for the forum. It should be up by the end of the day. The skin is sort of themed to a new slogan "connecting wrestling fans". Seeing as how Wikagesic is on twitter, facebook, myspace, youtube ect. And we play games online with fellow members. I think the connection them is pretty relevant. And a new spark from this possible merger, along with the new skin/theme could light a huge fire under Wikagesic.com.

Redz, what would you expect from wikagesic as far as staff positions for you and your staff?

No offense to you or anyone else for that matter but I don't give out Admin positions, its just to risky. The only person we have made an Admin is Matt (The Comedian) and that was because he has proved himself time and again at being a consistently loyal member.

@Faro: That sounds great. A skin is defiantly essential in bringing out the essence of a forum. We were actually working on one too, it's like 70% done though but ya anyways, time to bring on the new lol.

@Jago: Well, I don't know it's only really me and Kevin that would be Admin Staff coming here. I understand your concern though, I really do but trust me, we mean no harm. Originally it was 4 guys as Admin's but we had a system where we would all consult each other first before doing ANYTHING, even for the smallest things. I'm not the kind to go around changing stuff without anyone's approval, and even if I did suggest something in the end I'd let Faro or one of you do it since I'm paranoid about messing with the HTML and that kinda stuff, I was like that even with my own forum. Plus once we're all in an agreement and have the forum set up, I wouldn't even logg into the Admin CP lol. I maybe logg in there once every 2 months.

I really do understand your concern but remember, I'll also be bringing over here members and helping out myself. We're not just talking about a change or two, we'll be merging and I will be sacrificing alot in the process and I think the Admin spots can be justified considering that. If you still think otherwise, let me know. We need to be able to agree smoothly.

Im kind of with Jago on this and i mean no offence but i would prefer if anyone was becoming an admin they were around for a period of time to justify the admin status.
Staff position in terms of a mod or something along those lines, it also comes to the point the site is still growing and having a large staff setup might prove to un productive. I just think we should keep things streamlined.

I think even though you seem like a real cool dude. And you do.. I like you already. It's just to early to make you admin. I may however be willing to give you a little more authority than the average new member. For example the ability to pin, and move topics, and perhaps access to the staff section to discuss future plans there.
