| You are so right, Alex, that was quite nasty!! I don't know when I've seen anything more disgusting than that. I didn't go for anything too girly....no butterflies, flowers, hearts, or stars.....I went for celtic. I really like it. It's not exactly what I wanted but it looks really good. I'm ready for another....lol. I say, if you're gonna do it, don't do anything silly or cartoonish. That was my problem, too, finding something that I wanted to live with the rest of my life. The best place I found was tattoofinder.com. You have to buy the tat but you get a pic and a stencil to take with you when you go so it makes it easier for the artist and it will save you a few bucks, too. Five of us went together for a friend's birthday and all the artists were impressed that we had our stencils with us and that we had done our research. |

| I used to work with a girl who had 14 tats at the time. I think a couple of them had meaning, but she got one of a monkey on the top of her foot just because she thought it was cool. |

Good for her! lol Sometimes things just look cool. Not everything has to mean something. People take everything way to seriously! That being said. There is nothing wrong with getting a tattoo that's special, and has some sort of special meaning to you. I'm just saying not everything has to mean something. |

| Mine doesn't mean anything. I thought about getting something that had some special meaning but I couldn't find anything I just absolutely loved. I've always wanted to visit Ireland, Scotland, Wales, etc so I started searching for celtic images. I saw this one and just kept coming back to it over and over even after I looked at hundreds more....lol. It's girly without being too girly....if you know what I mean. It almost looks airbrushed. The other girls got really cool ones, too. One girl got something called a tribal snowflake. She loves snowmen and she's getting married in November and her new name will be Snow, so it's cool looking but it also has meaning. |

| Ive been wanting to get a tattoo for some time just havnt settled on what i want yet, but i would want to have a meaning for the ones i get. Its just the way i am its cool an all getting something that looks good etc i just prefer having something a little more personal if that makes sense. |
