For anyone that uses msn have they seen or used the latest update i swear its the most messed up version they have done it is trying to do a million different things at once and just leaves you thinking WTF its trying to do facebook and twitter stuff but it seems like these aspects have been botched on with duck tape holding the whole thing together.

It has all this social networking crap in it now and to even change your name you have to go on to your hotmal account through the msn site to change it, what a mess.

Ive been using msn messneger since forever what are some alternatives.

Well, Microsoft released the new MSN in a ******* windows update! I had no choice but to download it, or I would've never got rid of the revolting "update" icon on the task bar.

For one, you can't change your name in the program itself anymore, you have to do it on your profile on hotmail.com, plus you can only have letters, no smileys, no explamation marks etc.

MSN messenger now is just not user friendly anymore it is a cluster fuck i have no idea how anyone thought this was a good idea.
