Skymark Ruler
Shievars are often regarded to, in the modern times, as cold and uncaring. This is only because of their ruler, Razikal, a tyranical Shievar whose communist-like beliefs have highly influenced the upper class. This has brought about, for the last fifty years, a cruel reign for the misfit of the race. The odds, as he says, will be killed or enslaved, and the right will be empowered.

But let us go back farther than this. Shievars used to only sophisticated in their work. Highly industrealized from the start, the Shievars were merely prideful of their technological advancements. They hadn't really bothered the whole rest of Skymark for thousands of years, their piece of society content with the mountain they lived on. The serfs worked on their farms, the middle class in the mines and factories, the upper class noramlly surveying the rest of the Shievars to make sure their working properly. If someone's not working, ten other Shievars are. That was how it used to be.

That had been under the rule of Ramzikal's father, a Shievar of great power, and yet none knows of his name. Ramzikal, after his father's 'accidental death', had all of the books mentioning his father's name burned. Of course as the eldest - and only - son, Ramzikal took over. His tyranical means of taking over completely corrupted the economy of the Shievars and their mountain. While brash they had always been, the upper class's sudden explosion of power completely diminished the serfs and middle classes into the 'slave' status.

Ramzikal's preference of Shievar traits also put a halt to many of the productions on the mountain. He decided that anyone without the discolourations of the skin, the odd hair, and normal coloured eyes, would be either killed or put into indenturement. Razikal's idea of the Shievar would be the only idea of the Shievar. Anything outside of that idea would be put out by means of force.

This has been the way for over fifty years, the rebels need a person to change this. Maybe you can do it?

Speaking of rebels, many Shievar have banded together, ones that have been indentured into Carva. They form a group of outcasts and escape. Some aren't found out to be flawed, and have a chance to flee. Over the years, many rebels have made their home on the other side of the mountain where there was usually no chance of being found. Now that Shievars had been finding camps for rebels there all the time, it is constantly being patrolled. The last good Shievars put up defenses in one area, a village camp called Levendell.

Before Ramzikal came to power, before his father had ever had that "accident", there had been a group of elders who believe they could forsee the future. For this, they treated Razikal with less respect that usual, and created a safe place. A group of elders travelled to the side of a mountain, and lived in that area. When Razikal came into power, they started smuggling slaves, outcasts, and rebels into their safe place. They had protected it with an insurpassable amount of spells and abilities that kept their place hidden from Shievar eyes, as well as protected them from any attack.

The elders soon passed away, and the remaining rebels named their haven Levendell. They again started smuggling more Shievars, however soon it became dangerous when others tried to copy them. They had no idea magic surrounded Levendell, and thought it was like any other type of safe place. They made their own, and after a while the nobles discovered this. They destroyed their camps and the Shievars inside. Levendell remains the only camp undiscovered so far, and is thus in trouble of a Shievar stumbling upon it by accident. Want to be a rebel?
