What you see's not what you get
With you there's just no measurement
No way to tell what's real from what isn't there
Your eyes they sparkle
That's all changed into lies that drop like acid rain
You washed away the best of me
You don't care

You know you did it
I'm gone
To find someone to live for
In this world
There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
Just a bridge that I gotta burn
You were wrong
If you think you can walk right through my door
That is just so you
Coming back when I've finally moved on
I'm already gone

Sometimes shattered
Never open
Nothing matters
When you're broken
That was me whenever I was with you
Always ending
Always over
Back and forth, up and down like a rollercoaster
I am breaking
That habit
Today

You know you did it
I'm gone
To find someone to live for
In this world
There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
Just a bridge that I gotta burn
You were wrong
If you think you can walk right through my door
That is just so you
Coming back when I've finally moved on
I'm already gone

There is nothing you can say
Sorry doesn't cut it, babe
Take the hit and walk away
'Cause I'm gone
Doesn't matter what you do
It's what you did that's hurting you
All I needed was the truth
Now I'm gone

What you see's not what you get
What you see's not what you get

You know you did it
I'm gone
To find someone to live for
In this world
There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
Just a bridge that I gotta burn
You were wrong
If you think you can walk right through my door
That is just so you
Coming back when I've finally moved on
I'm already gone
I'm already gone
Oh, I'm already gone, gone, gone, gone
Already gone
I'm gone

“You’re… you’re flashing, Doctor.” Ianto said nodding to the Doctor’s suit, the front of which was flashing softly from something in an inside pocket. Only a few hours ago they’d managed to finally read the chips that Archer had left behind and Mathias’s fears had been confirmed. The modifications that she had made to the weapon could now result in the end of all sentient life on earth. Mathias had explained that the bomb, once detonated, released a mutating virus into the air that attacked the life form that it was designed to go after. The chips had helped tailor it to lock solely onto the Kindred and Elite and with those gone.

“I just don’t understand,” The Doctor said reaching under his jacket to pull out the device “why she did the modifications here. It’s like she wanted us to know what she’s doing so that we’d pursue her which we would have done anyway.”

“She wanted a guarantee.” Mick said leaning against the table. “It’s a part of her plan, their plan, whatever it is. They need something that we have.” He shrugged and Gwen nodded.

“I agree… what is that Doctor?” She asked looking at the Doctor who was holding the device out in front of him looking concerned.

“Where’s Jack?” The Doctor asked, his tone urgent.

“He went to make sure we weren’t forgetting anything,” Gwen said. “Why? What’s wrong?”

The device in the Doctor’s hand flashed brighter. “They’re upping the signal,” the Master said. “Whatever they’ve been waiting for,”

“What’s going on?” Ianto asked straightening up.

“Those filaments in Jack’s brain,” the Doctor said putting the device away. “They’re active, they’ve been giving off some low level power signatures. Never anything of great concern mind you, but enough to worry me. What the Master created, the twins modified because according to him,”

“With the chips destroyed the filaments should have been absorbed into his body by now leaving no trace,” the Master said. “They’re not however, which means that Nina and Devon,”

“Did something else to him. Something you didn’t know about. That’s bloody great.” Ianto said looking at the Master angrily. There wasn’t time however for reprimands. They all headed out of the building as one without another hesitation all heading towards the castle and the transport that was parked in front.

Jack jumped out of the back of the vehicle wiping his hands off on his jeans casually. When Mick called out to him he turned and looked at them, giving them a wave and a smile before turning and picking up the last of the bags, tossing them into the back of the transport.

“Jack,” Ianto said pulling his weapon and holding it lightly in his hands remembering all to well how Jack had been down in the Keep. “Back away from the transport.”

Jack turned and looked at them, his eyes moving to Ianto’s gun and his brows drew together. “What’d I do?” He asked with an amused smile. “Ianto,”

“That’s not Jack,” John said immediately drawing his own weapon, Mick following suit.

“Of course it’s me,” Jack replied his gaze moving from Ianto to Mick to John and finally to the Doctor. “What’s going on? Doctor, I’m fine.”

The Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver adjusting something and walked towards Jack, watching him carefully. Jack didn’t do anything, he just stood there, watching him as he came forward and scanned his head, wincing as though it hurt him this time.

“Doctor, get away from him,” John said. “Tea-boy, get him away from him.”

Jack moved suddenly, grabbing the Doctor and twisting his arm behind him roughly. The Doctor let out a startled cry of pain as Jack twisted his arm, taking the screwdriver from him and shoving it into his back pocket. “Don’t,” he said warningly to the others. “Not unless you want me to snap his neck.”

“He won’t die,” the Master said. “He’ll just regenerate, you know this.”

“More fun for me,” Jack replied reaching under the Doctor’s jacket and pulling out the flashing devise. “Sonic wave detector,” he said turning it over in his hand. “We underestimated you Doctor.”

“A lot of people tend to do that.” The Doctor replied.

“Okay,” Jack said “here’s what we’re going to do,”

“You’re going to let him go,” Mathias said putting his gun to the back of Jack’s head. Blood covered the right side of his head from where Jack had struck him a minute before the others had found him coming out of the back of the transport. “Or when you come back,”

“You threatening me, Mathias?” Jack asked tuning his head to look at Mathias. “That’s not a smart thing to do.”

“No,” he replied cocking his weapon. “It’s not a threat.”

“Oooh, tough guy.” Jack said letting go of the Doctor. “I like that.”

Mathias brought his gun down hard on the back of Jack’s head driving him to his knees. “Hey!” John said swinging his aim to Mathias.

“John no,” said Mick. “That’s not Jack. You said so yourself.”

“Jack,” Gwen said moving a few steps forward and crouching down in front of him, making sure to stay out of arms reach. “You can fight this. Whatever they’ve done to you,”

“I like what they’ve done to me,” Jack said with a dark smile, his eyes cold. “And I know you like it, the way you whimper in my ear when you,” he cut off as her hand cracked against his cheek, a pained look in her eye. “Oh come on Gwen, do you really think that the ‘good’ Jack would have given in and fucked you like that? Nice, thoughtful Jack who helped with your wedding even though he didn’t want you to do it. Good old Jack who loved you enough to let you go?” The corner of his mouth curled up. “I’m not that Jack, and there’s a part of you that knew it.” He whispered at her. “And that’s what was so exciting about it.”

“You,”

“Gwen!” Ianto snapped “back away from him. He’s just trying to make you mad.” He holstered his weapon and moved forward, taking Gwen’s arm and helping her up and away from Jack.

“And you, sad little Ianto Jones.” Jack said. “Ianto Jones, forever the martyr, always putting others first, always putting yourself last, always the sacrificial lamb.”

“It’s my job,” Ianto replied.

“To what?” Jack asked. “Be a patsy?” He laughed starting to get up to his feet. Mathias’s hand pushed down on his shoulder keeping him on his knees. “You’ve got balls on you blondie,” he said looking back at Mathias. “Can’t wait to cut them off and feed them to you.”

“What’s going on?” Kas asked coming up carrying a small sack with her. Her eyes moved over the mass of people as Kara came out of the castle jogging up to them curious as well. “Jack….”

“It’s beautiful,” Nina said running her hand along the sleek device that sat before them on the table. “It’s truly…beautiful.”

“The trillium?” Devon said looking at Archer who passed over the case to him.

“It’s more than we need. God’s hand surely guided the human hand when the case was filled,” said Archer.

“Good, good,” Devon said opening the case and getting to work. “I should be done within the next hour and then all we need,”

“Is the Eye.” Nina finished. “Come Archer, leave him to his work. He gets nervous when you stand to close.”

“It’s exciting,” Archer said with a smile. “The idea of starting over… and with the Eye,”

“God’s will shall be done,” Nina said. “Much like hitting the reset button. It will be glorious child.” She slipped her hand in Archer’s and smiled at her. Archer, God’s finest instrument, created by the Master and rejected as imperfect, brought to her and her brother for modification and then deletion when the tests failed, released secretly now forever bound to them in zealously, joining the Preachers, forever working towards their ultimate goal. The word of God wasn’t always heard loud and clear, sometimes it was subtle but Nina never missed it.

“How much longer?” Archer asked with obvious excitement.

“That would depend on how long it takes our friends to bring the Doctor to us. We need the Eye to truly complete God’s work, and the TARDIS is to large for us to search. It would take a good month, and even then I doubt that we’d have searched half of it.” She poured Archer a cup of coffee and led her around the HUB over to the morgue. “And that,” she said nodding down to her “will ensure that the Doctor does what we want.”

There was a sudden commotion behind them and they turned to see a half dozen Kindred come through the archway. The two Elite guards that had been standing guard on the others side of the door both lay on the ground dead, blood spreading over the stone floor in a rapidly growing pool.

“We grrrow impatient,” Do said, wings fluttering angrily. “The Masssterrr, we want him… now.”

Nina smiled and opened her arms. “Welcome my masters,” she said bowing her head.

“Now!” Do snapped, white teeth flashing. “You sssaid that you had him.”

“Yes,” Nina replied slowly. “I know that we did, but,”

“But?” Do said, head lowering, black eyes flashing dangerously.

“We will have him back shortly,” Nina said quickly making sure not to look up to where Devon was working on the bomb. “Boeshane will bring him to us.”

Ka’s wings fluttered with excitement. “Boessshane…”

“We’ve always accounted for this possibility,” Nina said as Do walked by her heading down into the morgue where Dani was still strapped to the table. “We have the one he loves, and Boeshane will ensure that he is returned.”

Dani’s eyes opened as she sensed a presence in front of her and she let out a small surprised gasp seeing Do standing in front of her. She was so cold. The silver had spread over her entire arm, across half her chest and part way down one leg. Her body was feeling not quite her own anymore, the silver section feeling cold and alien. She wanted the Doctor. She wanted him to come and fix this. To reverse whatever was happening to her. She wanted Ianto to hold her and tell her things would be okay. She wanted the Master to kill all of them.

“What isss thisss?” Do asked holding out a talloned finger and touching Dani’s silver skin. When it didn’t give, it pressed down harder, hard enough that were it her regular skin the talon would have pierced the surface. As it was, the silver skin gave taking the pressure but refusing to break.

“Bait,” Nina said coming down the stairs towards them, Archer following. The other Kindred stayed up above looking around. “That,” she said with a smile “is the key.”

“Key?” Do asked.

Nina let out a long breath. “It is… complicated, my master.” She said lowering her head. “For a project that Devon and I have been working on for the better of a decade, to help further Kindred influence across the universe. It is a sentient being of sorts, the last of its kind. Indestructible save for inside the heart of a star. It will serve you well once the process is complete.”

“Like Hell I will!” Dani snapped furiously.

“You won’t have a choice, human.” She replied. “Once the assimilation is complete on the outside, it will set to work claiming the mind as well. The race once served as the private guard of the Somii Empire before its downfall. They’re quite fascinating really,” she said. “We’ve only read about them, for they fell millions of years ago. Their powers, it will be quite impressive my master, once the process is completed.”

Do’s eyes narrowed as it looked at Dani and in defiance she did the only thing she could, she spat in the Kindred’s face. “Fuck you,” she snarled at it. “I’ll never serve you.”

No, Nina thought, you won’t, you’ll serve us. Instead of saying anything she took a towel laying on the table beside where Dani was strapped and handed it to the Kindred. “Punish her after it takes her,” Nina said. “Then she won’t die. Much like Boeshane.” She watched as the Kindred all smiled.

“The Masssterrr.” Do said. “He isss ourrrsss… we have serrrved him… and will not ssserve any longerrr….”

“We arrre not ssservants,” Ka said above them, the other Kindred nodded in agreement. “We have rrrepayed him in full. You maybe have thisss continent asss prrromisssed forrr yourrr worrrk.”

“We thank you my masters,” Nina said bowing her head, Archer following suit, her eyes still studying Dani closely. “Come, let me find you rooms in the Tower. He should be here shortly. The HUB is no place for beings as noble as yourselves to wait.” She shot Archer a quick glance and Archer nodded straightening up.

“I will show them,” she said. “You must continue the transmissions to bring them to us.”

“Thank you sister,” Nina said and watched as Archer led the Kindred out of the HUB. “It won’t be long now human,” she said touching Dani’s silver flesh. “Soon you’ll be ours, and you will spread the Word throughout the universe.”

“The only thing I’m going to spread,” Dani said darkly, “are you ass cheeks when I kick your ass later you violet psychotic fucking crazy ass bitch.”

Nina patted her cheek, wary this time of her teeth. “Soon human, soon… the Lord’s Will shall be done, in this world, and the next.”

Dani watched Nina leave her along again and shivered, feeling the sensation of it continuing to pass over her flesh, slowly consuming her and she closed her eyes again helpless to do anything but wait.

The Carport

**************************************

“Something’s happened,” Mick said not taking his eyes off Jack.

“You’re right about that,” Jack said with a smile.

A single gunshot rang through the air and Mick let out a cry of pain and surprise as he fell to one knee, blood running down his thigh. Crimson blood spattered on the grass and against the hem of Kas’s pants. His fingers clutched the wound feeling warm blood running from two sides. In and out, well that was good at least as he immediately ran through a quick assessment, far from the artery. It wasn’t a killing shot, just meant to hurt like hell.

“Let him up.” Kas said pressing the barrel of her gun to the back of Ianto’s head.

“Kas, what the hell?” Mick gasped in pain. “You shot me!”

“If you don’t shut up, I’ll shoot you again.” She said looking at Mick, her eyes as dark as Jack’s. “Maybe this time somewhere vital.”

“Ianto?” Mathias asked.

“It’s okay,” Ianto said. “Let him up.”

“That’s a good little tea boy, isn’t that what they call you?” Kas asked as Jack rose to his feet. “Tea boy?”

“I like her,” John said suddenly looking Kas over.

“Shut up John,” Jack said looking at him. “Give me the gun blondie,” he said holding out his hand to Mathias who with some reluctance passed the weapon over to him. “Kas?”

“Hand them over,” she said holding out her hand and taking everyone’s weapons tossing them in the back of the furnished transport.

“What you doing?” Gwen asked looking from Kas to Jack. “Jack,”

“Our job.” Jack said. “I suppose you could call us… “

“Who cares,” Kas said casually with a smile to Gwen. “We’re doing God’s work.” She walked over to Mick. “Does it hurt?”

“What the hell do you think?” Mick asked and he let out a scream of pain as Kas pushed her finger into the bullet wound. He tried to move her hand away but she was amazingly strong. He could only watch as she pulled her finger out and licked it, tasting the blood.

“It’s a shame,” she said patting his cheek. “If we had more time,”

“We need to go,” Jack said. “They’re waiting.”

Kas let out a long sigh looking at Mick. She grabbed his head suddenly, twisting it to the side and crushing her lips down on his. He could taste the faint essence of his own blood on her lips and the kiss was full of fire, of passion and of…darkness. He pulled back so suddenly, and so violently that he lost his balance and fell into Kara who kept him from falling to the ground. “Doctor, Master, get in the back of the transport.” She grabbed the two men by the back of the necks shoving them forward hard. They both staggered.

“You can’t tell me what to do,” the Master snapped at her furiously. “I’ll,”

“What?” Kas asked shoving the barrel of her weapon into his temple. “You’ll what? Jack?” She held out her hand and easily caught a set of cuffs that he threw her. She slapped one end around his left wrist, cranking it in back of him and locking the other one tightly. “Oh, I’m sorry,” she said when he let out a small hiss of discomfort. “Is that too tight? Let me fix that for you,” and with a cruel smile she made them even tighter.

“Jack this is insane,” Gwen said trying to reason with him. “This isn’t you.”

“She’s a broken record,” Kas said catching the second pair and putting them on the Doctor’s wrists, again behind his back. “And you like her because?”

“Tight cunt?” Jack said with a laugh. “Get in the back of the transport, you too blondie.”

“No,” Ianto said stepping forward.

“No?” Jack asked. “I think a little pay backs in order, and it’s a long drive back to the Citadel.”

“I won’t let you,” Ianto danced backwards as a bullet dug into the earth in front of his feet and he looked at Jack, their eyes meeting. Jack’s gun pointed right at his head. “You…” he took a deep breath. “You won’t shoot me Jack.”

“You want to bet your life on it, pretty boy?” He asked, “you too sunshine,” he said looking at Gwen. “Transport.”

“Fuck no.” Gwen spat at him furiously.

“You know, you’re making this a lot more difficult than it has to be,” he said wincing, rubbing his head with his free hand. “We don’t… we don’t have time for this. Gwen, now.”

“No,” Kas said. “She’s not coming. You can take blondie, but not the whore. She stays here.” She shoved the Master and the Doctor towards the transport.

“Just do what they want,” the Doctor said to Ianto. “My guess is that the filiments in his brain are acting as receptors and that….”

“Nina and Devon,” the Master said.

“Are transmitting some sort of waves that only he’s picking up. The filliments had incorporated themselves into his basic personality and Kas, well I suppose that the shots that you were given weren’t for breeding purposes which would mean that they would have to know what was going to happen which would imply that they can see the future, because there’s no way that they could work the,”

“Does he EVER shut up?!?” Kas asked. “Don’t make me cut out your tongue Doctor. You’re too pretty to look at, and we could put that tongue to good use.” She gave the Doctor’s ass a hard slap. “The whore stays here, you’ve got plenty of other holes to shoot in other than hers.”

“Kas, come on. Think, think about all the things that we’ve gone through. The breeding facility, the takeover, Tiny and Andi and… Jack, you love me, this isn’t you.” Gwen started to say and she gasped as Gwen suddenly grabbed her by the throat, lifting her off her feet easily.

“I told you,” Kas hissed at her. “Stay away from him.” She threw Gwen hard away from her and Gwen flew several feet before crashing hard into the ground.

“Gwen!” Jack said taking a step towards her.

“This is why she can’t come!” Kas said yelling at Jack. “She’s a distraction. You think with your cock and not your head. We’ve got work to do! Transport, now.” She snapped at the three captives and the Master, Doctor and Mathias, giving Ianto a calm look, his eyes conveying his serenity and trust that Ianto would save them all, climbed in as well. “Now,” Kas said giving the front of Jack’s jeans and affectionate rub. “We’re going to leave.” Jack almost seemed to purr under her hand. “Okay?” Her voice was soft now as she spoke to him, affectionate and yet commanding at the same time.

“Do it,” Jack said leaning down, his tongue flicking out from between his lips, meeting hers and he pulled the keys from his pocket, slamming the back of the transport shut, locking it from the outside and then going to the cab.

“This was all just soooooooo easy.” Kas said pulling a small transmitter from her pocket.

“What is that?” Ianto asked.

“A detonator.” Kas replied. “Have fun kids.” Hopping up into the passenger seat of the cab she pressed the button, the castle exploding in a violent rain of concrete and stone. “Let’s go pet.” She said slamming the door and she and Jack laughed, smiling happily as the sped away from the remains of the castle and into the woods.

“NO!” Ianto cried running after them. He only ran about fifty feet knowing that there was no way that he was going to reach them let along catch up with them on foot. Jack was… Kas was… the Doctor… the Master, well no big loss there… but Mathias… they’d taken Mathias too! He felt a cold surge of panic wash through him. “We have to… look through the other vehicles, anything that’s half way drivable. Mick, take care of the leg. Kara, Gwen, let’s get started.”

“We might not have to,” Gwen said leaning inside of the cab of an old pickup. She reached under the dash and popped the hood. “This car,” she said slowly “the hood isn’t as dusty as the others. There’s finger prints on the edges. Keys in the ignition.”

“Gwen we don’t have time for this,” Ianto said.

“Remember how Jack and Kas were so tiered this morning?” She said limping over to the hood and popping it open. “I think… yeah…”

Ianto came over to her and peered over her shoulder at the engine. It had recent work done on it. In fact it almost looked totally rebuilt. He remembered Jack’s bloodshot eyes this morning, the grease under his nails, the scent of oil and sweat on Kas when he’d given her coffee. “You think that they, oh Jack… brilliant…”

“They must have known,” Gwen said as Kara and Mick joined them. “Somehow, subconsciously they must have known and been fighting it… they knew they were going to do this so,”

“They gave us a backup.” Mick said. “I can have it running in a few hours.”

“There’s weapons back here,” Kara said leaping in the back of the truck and pulling aside a tarp. “And some petrol, not much but it should get us there.”

“We can’t stay here tonight,” Ianto said. “The castle,” he looked over at what remained. Everything was covered in debris, including them. They looked gray with dust. Every time they moved, they were surrounded by a fresh puff of gray smoke. At first he wasn’t sure when they could have set the charges, but then he remembered the long walk that the two of them had taken last night. Subconsciously, they must have set the charges, that or done it in their sleep, but then again they’d been fixing up a back up vehicle for them. It must have been during the walk. “Mick, fix it up as fast as you can. We don’t have any time to wait. I’ll dig through the rubble and see if I can find any first aid. We’ll leave as soon as you’re done.”

The game's getting close to over...

Ianto's group... you can leave Manorbrier no earlier than SUNDAY and YES... you can arrive at Cardiff say... Wedns/Thursday... but please, please get your asses there. :)

Kas/Jack/Doctor/Master/Mathias - The Road

(OOC: Just feeling out Evil Kas, so this is evil light I would say. The language is rough so you have been advised.)

IC:

Kas drove down the road gitty with excitement more alive then she had ever been she was free. Free of that poor excuses of a man Mick, big dick Mick, probably not so big now, god it had been easier then they thought what a pathetic group. That dismal whelp Ianto, it looked like he was going to shit himself when he saw Jack take Mathias. Such a sad annoying little mess, always trying to be more then he was a pretty ass tea-boy, eye-candy wasn’t that what John called him, John that was another one, he probably knew something was wrong but decided not to say anything, the fool.

It was all so brilliant everything went off without so much as a hick-up. Kas thought of Mick and shooting him, he was lucky, she had smelled Kara on Mick, she was sure they never did anything, which was lucky for him; her first inclination was to shoot if fucking balls off but thought against it, he doesn’t need them to live. But she didn’t because he was at least faithful, the pussy. Then there was Gwen, Kas thought darkly, oh dear sweet Gwen that fucking skank whore bitch slut with the gapped teeth who would fuck anything and probably has. Who the fuck did she think she was. Jack was hers no one else, she would have to pay the beating wasn’t nearly enough. Kas looked over at Jack who was focusing in on Mathias she watched him for a moment studying Mathias, like an lion studying its next prey, he was magnificent, truly exquisite and he was hers. Kas watched the road and heard Jack, “The things I’m going to do to you Blondie, you have no idea. No one takes my things from me. No one. Did you really think I would let you be with Ianto, my Ianto?”

“Ianto belongs to no one, least of all you.” Mathias said defiant. Jack laughed, “Oh but he does since the night we met I owned him, all of him. He knows it and I know it.” Jack eyes narrowed, “you, you’re just a pretty little distraction for him, but he will be mine and when I have him again. You’re going to watch as a fuck him till he bleeds begging me for more.” Jack felt the bulge in his pants grow stronger at the idea of fucking Ianto again. “Then when I’ve had my fill of him I’m going to do the same to you as he watches and maybe I’ll even allow him to jerk-off as he watches.

Mathias looked at Jack defiant. Ianto would never do those things and he wouldn’t allow Jack to hurt them, any of them. “Ianto is stronger then you think and he’s a better man then you’ll ever be.” Mathias said meeting Jack’s eyes. Jack laughed, “We’ll see Blondie, we’ll see.”

Mathias shook his head and looked at the Doctor who gave him a look of say nothing and just sit and be quiet, that is the best course of action for now. So he looked at Jack one last time, glaring at him then looked away and he sat there quiet as did the Master and Doctor, none of them speaking.

Kas had focused on the driving allowing Jack to have his fun with Mathias. The thoughts of Gwen filling her mind, finally Kas looked at Jack “The fucking cunt who does she think she is. That gapped tooth freak bitch. You’re mine Jack, and I should have killed her.” Jack turned and looked at Kas smiling as they drove. “When I see that putrid slut again I’m going to dig wholes into her body with my bare hands slowly one at a time, making them deeper and deeper, feeling the skin and the muscle under my fingers her blood spilling around her. Then I will fill each whole with meal worms and watched as the eat.” Kas said darkly her hatred filling her. Kas looked again to Jack then to the road then back at Jack, “how you stick your cock in her and enjoy it, vile. Maybe I’ll have her snatch removed just so you can continue to fuck it. At least I won’t have to look at…” Kas was cut off by a sudden smack across the face it caused her to veer off the road coming to stop. She snapped her head to the side looking at Jack who was ready to slap her again, you looked at he bulge in his pants and smiled.

Kas could task the iron in her mouth and she looked at him, for the moment the others in the back of the transport forgotten, not like they could do anything, “I don’t belong to you, Kasandra, remember that.” Jack said raising his hand to slap her again, Kas caught his hand in mid air and looked at it seeing her own blood on it. She pulled his hand to her mouth and licked the blood off his fingers taking each finger into her mouth slowly liking it clean, the sweet taste of her own blood exciting her more then anything, she could feel herself become wet, her body aching. “Finally, a man I can respect.” She purred releasing the last of Jack’s clean fingers from her mouth. She pulled Jack into her their lips pounding against each other their tongues tangled together, he tasted unlike anyone she had tasked before, a real man, not like Mick or Antonio. Jack was everything. Kas moved Jack’s hand up and under her blouse up to her breast, she moaned into his mouth as he gave her nipple a hard squeeze, it sent a shiver of intense desire through her, she wanted him more then anything, and he wanted her she could tell.

She heard a voice in the back of her head, “you have work to do, hurry we’re waiting for you.” Kas flicked Jack’s tongue with her own and pushed him away and smiled. Jack looked at her not wanting to stop. Kas pulled his head close to hers and whispered in his ear. “Remember that Captain. We get done with this and the things we can do, trust me, it will be unlike anything you’ve done before.” Jack looked at her not wanting to stop but allowing it his dark soulless eyes met hers, “I doubt that.” He said pulling away from her. Kas grabbed his hand and pulled him towards her one last time, “I wouldn’t doubt anything if I were you…Captain.” Then she shoved him away this time meaning it.

She moved the transport back on the road and continued to drive. “That dirty cunt you like so much will be a distant memory, I promise you that.” Kas said looking at Jack who watched her and then smiled darkly, “Maybe.” He said then he looked back at the Master and the others, “you know Master, you fucked me…guess what I’m going to do to you; over and over and over again.” Jack laughed coldly it was filled with pain and hatered, he looked at the face the Master was giving him. “Just you wait.”

May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.

Things just kept getting better and better.

Mick watched the fading dust of Jack's vehicle with a sense of detachment. He was drained, maybe it was from the blood loss. He unblucked his belt and pulled it out of the loops around his jeans. He wrapped it around his thigh above the bullet wound and buckled it as tight as he could take it.

Without hesitation Mick limped over towards the back-up vehicle that Jack had been working on, trying to keep as much weight off of his wounded leg as possible. The tools were in a semi-neat pile stacked up near it. Mick had no idea how much progress Jack had made before the effects fully took over. He'd know fairly well once he popped the hood.

Mick leaned into the car using the door for support and popped the hood. He was on his way back to the front when he felt a wave of light-headedness overtook him and he nearly fell on his ass. Ianto said, "Maybe you better sit for a minute."

Mick shook his head. He siad, "I'll get my leg worked on while I work. That will help expidite the process. I'll do whatever work is left under the engine before I do the upper. You gonna play Doctor?" Ianto nodded. Mick said, "Good. That will free up Gwen to help me. She did a bang-up job when we were working on the tractor. I can use her help here."

There was a small tire-changing jack amongst the pile Jack left. Mick moved it to the left side of the car and slid it under the undercarriage. He jacked it up as high as he could and then sat on the ground. Gwen arrived with a first aid kit that she'd scrounged from one of the vehicles, he assumed.

Mick said, "I should have seen it." Gwen said, "What?" Mick said, "The way she shot those two Elites...Like she didn't have a care in the world. And the shooting was so precise....I should have paid more attention...She was blanked out when we found her out in the woods. I assumed it was because of what Jake tried to do to her. But really, it must have been one of the after effects of whatever's got her going now.....Oh fuck..."

Ianto said, "What?" Mick said, "Jake....I mean, I saw the clothes, and I saw the way she looked, but....I hope that wasn't a set-up. I mean, the way this things got her going, she could have set it up and murdered the stupid asshole. It's certainly up Jake's alley to have tried it on her when they were alone, and most likely he did...But...Now we're always gonna wonder if she just shot him to shoot him."

Mick scowled. He wanted to feel no sympathy for the asshole, and now he was vaguely uncertain if Jake's death had been neccessary or just to get him out of the way. What a balls-up. Ianto said, "We all should have paid more attention, but there's no use crying about it now. We've got to focus on the job at hand now.

Mick said, "What I don't understand is...when did this happen? When did she get...I don't know...Taken over?" Gwen said, "We were taken to a breeding facility."

Mick looked at her sharply. Kas hadn't told him that. Gwen said, "We got seperated, because I was fertile and she....She wasn't....Awww damnit.." Mick looked at the ground in front of him and nodded slowly. Gwen said, "I'm sorry, you should have found that out through her and not me but...." Mick said, "It doesn't matter. So you think that it happened then?"

Gwen nodded. She said, " We were seperated for quite awhile, and there was something about her arm. I noticed her rubing it occasionally. Maybe they stuck something into her." Mick nodded. Ianto said, "I need to work here..." Mick said, "Do your damndest." Ianto cut the leg up Mick's jeans carefully. Mick siad, "I never thought you'd be trying to get into my pants."

Ianto blushed heavily, but had a trace of sadness. Mick said, "You're worried about Mathias, I know." Ianto said, "More than you can imagine." Mick decided to avoid the cliche' of telling Ianto "They'd get him back." They would, and Ianto knew it.

Mick said, "Can you help me with the car? We made fast work of the tractor in that barn, and if we work together on this, we can get the car moving twice as fast." Gwen nodded. He said, "Kara and Hart are scrounging for useable supplies, so I'll be freed up to give you a hand."

Mick siad, "I wonder if they're expecting us?" Gwen said, "Archer and the rest? Probably. They know we won't give up easy." Ianto said, "I'm sure they'll want us to show up." Mick said, "Why?" Ianto said, "Because what good is greatness if you have no one to witness it." Mick nodded. He said, "Kind of like when the Bond villain tells Bond about his master plan, eh?"

Ianto nodded. Mick siad, "But they've got The Doctor and the Master to show off too." Ianto said, "Yes...But they're not from this world. This place....It's ours...If life as we know it is destroyed....It's going to impact us even more." Mick said, "I'm not ready to give up breathing, that's for sure."

Mick slid underneath the car. He felt sticks and pricks on the bullet wound as Ianto worked on it. It was distracting, but not impossible to work around. He focused on the task at hand, and the pain slid into the backround.

A sudden thought made him break out into sweat. Kas, after their post cloital encounter, awake, looking down at him....was she under the spell then? Could she have killed him then?

Mick wiped the cold sweat from his brow. The thought of how easy it would have been to kill him was a scary thought indeed. Of course, there would have been suspicion, but enough? Couldshe have explained the death away? Not his Kas....She wouldn't have thought of it...But the new Kas....The evil Kas...She might have.

Mick was unable to suppress a shudder. Ianto said, "Am I hurting you?" Mick saw him looking at him under the car. He could vagely see flashes of Gwen when he looked up, as she worked on the car from above. Mick looked at Ianto and said, "No, I'm fine. Whatever you're doing, keep it up."

Ianto nodded and set to work . God...It gave a whole new meaning to sleeping with the enemy. Mick shook his head lightly and set to work.

Ianto/Mick - Checking the Wounds

(OOC: Mick beat me to the punch. I have modified it a bit, but I’m not rewriting the whole thing, so get over it. :hip: )

IC:

They all worked quickly, Ianto had searched through what was left of the castle finding very little, he still had to recheck their supplies. Kas and Jack had done an amazing job, if you could all it amazing, there wasn’t much left thanks to them, but they had managed to leave them almost everything they needed for the trip, the plus side was that they didn’t know the layout or where things were stashed, Mathias had worked with Ianto the past day helping him resupply showing him some of the additional hidden storage areas, which luckily enough were only practically ruined. Ianto quickly found a first aid kit and went over to where Mick was working, “I want to redress your wound properly.” Ianto said looking at Mick. Mick stopped and aloud Ianto to help him over to a bench to sit down and take a look at the gun shot. “But we just did that.” Mick said annoyed that Ianto checking on him again.

“It was 3 hours ago, and I found a better kit.” Ianto said, looking at Mick determined.

Mick watched Ianto work, he was quiet, calm, professional, like nothing was wrong. Mick knew how he felt about Jack and Mathias and to see that happen there was no way it wasn’t feeling something, no one was that collected, no one. After a couple of minutes “That wasn’t Kas or Jack you know.” Mick said looking at Ianto wincing under the pain, Ianto really was amazing, we was almost as good as some of the field medics he knew. “Yep.” Ianto said not looking at him, he was trying not to think about it, he couldn’t it was too much; he had work today he needed to focus. Jack had taken Mathias on purpose to hurt him, Ianto knew that, and he couldn’t…not right now. Ianto brushed the feeling aside trying to burry them.

Mick let out a yelped of pain as Ianto was applying pressure to the wound. Mick grabbed Ianto by the suit jacket forcing Ianto to meet his eyes, “Listen to me, you don’t burry this, you deal with it, we’ll deal with it. You burry it you die and we need you. That wasn’t Jack or Kas. We know that. It was these bastards the Elite Nina and Devon or whatever, it wasn’t the people we love.” Ianto tightened the bandage he didn’t need to look at it to finish up; Mick stifled another yelp of pain. “I know.” Ianto said through gritted teeth, he was firm and a bit angry, “She shot me.” Mick said and continued, “The woman a may very well love shot me trying to kill me, then kissed another man in front of me. I understand what it is you’re going threw.”

Ianto pushed Mick off angry and fished with the dressing, “Do you Major. What Kas did you was nothing, you have no idea what pain is. I do. I know what Jack did to me for what seemed like weeks, he toyed with me, he played with me, torture, you have no idea the torture I allowed him to do to me, trying to save him.” Ianto stopped and took a breath his voice shock he was filled with anger at what happened and how long it too for just his body to recover, then he continued again, “It’s ok for me to go through it, but he took Mathias, and that same monster is going to do things to that man just to get back at me, me…the fucking tea-boy, a nobody. And all for what, for leaving him.” Mick looked at Ianto he was angry and that was good, Mick wanted him angry, angry was healthy and angry was something that Ianto rarely was. Anger was the only way they were going to stop them. Ianto continued, “I would have rather been shot!” Mick nodded his head, “Good you keep that anger Ianto you use it, because that’s what we’re going to need.” Ianto’s eyes narrowed figuring out what the Major was talking about he softened at once feeling a little better for getting it out.

Ianto sighed looked at the first aid kit, they would need to take it with him, his mind made a mental note. Then he thought of what Mathias was going to be put threw if they didn’t move he picked up the last item he needed. “I know, but if anything happens…” Ianto started to say with Mick cutting him off standing up, “we won’t let it. Now get me over to the truck and lest do this.” Mick said smiling just a bit. “Not yet.” Ianto said pushing Mick back down on the bench and pulling out a siring. Mick looked at him with his eyes wide just a hit of fear in them, “what…what…what the fuck is that?” Mick said worried.

Ianto smiled, “tetnes, penicillin and a pain killer and it’s going to hurt.” Mick let out a scream of pain as Ianto stuck him with the needle injecting it’s contents before he even had time to think. “Jesus, Mary and Joseph!” Mick said after a minute. “Sorry Major, but you’re going to want to keep your leg and the pain killer will make it easier for you to get around.” Mick nodded, “But I just fucking had a tetnes shot you prick, before I came on this mission.” Ianto smiled trying not to laugh, “I must have missed that in your file…sorry.”

Mick glared at him for a moment as Ianto helped him up, “Missed it my ass. Ianto Jones doesn’t miss anything especially anything like a painful tetnes shot. He’s flipping brilliant.” Mick said as Ianto helped him walk over to the truck. “I think you enjoyed that.” Mick said as he got situated over the hood, looking at the engine the medicine starting to work, it was taking the edge off just enough without making him loopy.

“I have things to tend to, will you be alright.” Ianto said choosing to not acknowledge Mick’s remark. “You do that.” Mick said getting to work. Ianto smiled and walked off over to the supplies making a new inventory list of what they have and what he would need to see if he could find.
May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.

Supreme Goddess Of All Things Bright And Shiny
Jack moved to the back of the transport again to keep an eye on their three passengers. He sat against the back of the cab, leaving the door open and he stretched his legs out in front of himself, crossing his ankles as he relaxed. His gun, though holstered, was easily accessible and he was familiar with it enough to be able to pull it again in a heartbeat. He rubbed the back of his head, it was hurting again. God, he was so tiered of these headaches.

“Your head bothering you Jack?” The Doctor asked gently. “I can help you with that.”

“Nice try,” Jack said with a laugh. From his pocket he pulled out the sonic screwdriver, twirling it between his fingers. His eyes locked with the Doctor’s and the two men studied each other intently. Suddenly Jack smiled again. “Your little mind tricks won’t work on me, and neither will yours Master.” He said looking at the other man. “Either of us.”

“But I’m not trying to escape Jack.” The Doctor said.

“Oh I know,” Jack replied. “Because we’re taking you to the HUB, we’re taking you to where the TARDIS is, to where Dani is.”

“If you’ve hurt her,” the Master started to say.

“If I hurt her?” Jack said laughing. “I already hurt her, back when I worked for you.” He watched the Master’s lip twitch angrily, saw the flicker of anger in the Doctor’s eyes. “Back at the mine… she was so happy to see me.” He said sucking out some blood from under his nail. “And how she fought… mmm… her body straining, her arms struggling to push me off her, her thighs trembling with the effort to stay together when I forced them apart… that sweet muffled groan that she made when I forced my way inside her, oh how she screamed.” He looked over his shoulder to see Kas smiling as she drove. “And she kept fighting, time and time again, but she didn’t break… oh no, not your precious Dani.” He frowned suddenly. “Maybe I’m losing my touch, couldn’t break Ianto either.” He clucked his tongue thoughtfully and the shrugged.

“Don’t worry,” Kas called from up front. “You’ll have time to practice.”

“True,” Jack said standing up and walking across the transport to where Mathias was sitting quietly. He stood in front of him for a moment before suddenly punching him in the face.

“Jack, no!” The Doctor cried.

Jack hit Mathias again, and then again, his face a snarl of rage. “You think you can take what’s mine?” He hissed at him. “You think you can just stick your dick in my leftovers?” He grabbed Mathias by the throat lifting him off his feet. Mathias gasped, blood running from his nose and split lip and he grabbed at Jack’s wrist as his grasp tightened, cutting off his air. “Tell me Mathias, has he ever dropped on his knees begging to blow you, guzzling your cum like it’s candy?”

“Fuck… you.” Mathias gasped and lashed out at Jack, his foot landing in Jack’s knee hard enough to cause a snap and Jack dropped him with a cry, dropping down to one knee, clutching the other one in pain.

“Jack?”

“I’m fine,” Jack called to Kas who was slowing the transport. “Just get us there baby.” He fell back onto the floor drawing his gun and firing it, shooting Mathias in the right shoulder. “You want to try that again, blondie?” He said from between grit teeth and Mathias dropped back into his seat. “Didn’t… think so.” Jack slipped the weapon back into his holster and straightened out his hurt knee. There was another snap as everything realigned itself.

“And you,” Jack said turning to the Master. “Thinking that you were so un-fucking-touchable in your tower.”

“When this is over freak,” the Master said his voice dripping with hostility “I’m going to chain you up for a few hundred years and watch you suffer. What you did,”

“What I did to your dear, precious piece of pussy Dani?” Jack said returning to his seat. “Pounding that tight little honey pot before you had a chance? No matter what way you cut it, I got to her first and you hate that.” He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “So what, you think because you slipped her some drugs and charmed her in to riding your cock and begging to be fucked, that she’s going to love her?” He laughed. “You know he did it because of you,” he said looking at the Doctor.

The Doctor nodded, his jaw set not liking this topic in the least.

“And look what happened… the Master, the greatest evil that your planet ever produced, fell in love with a human woman. You thought you’d charm her, but instead you got charmed by that sweet little cunt of hers. Those pretty lips wrapping around your cock snared you instead… though they are nice.” He winked at the Master and then looked at the Doctor.

“It’s really too bad you can’t join in the conversation Doctor.” He cocked his head to the side. “It must be lonely, just jacking off by yourself… oh wait, you don’t do that either. You’re asexual.” He let out an amused laugh. “The loneliest, most pathetic man in the universe. All brains and no cock…. Such a waste.”

Ianto et al - The Truck Ride

The truck was quiet as they drove down the road. Mick and Gwen had managed to fix up what was left and between Kara, John and Ianto they had found what they needed and got moving. Ianto was driving, Gwen was shotgun and Mick, John and Kara were in the back, the window between them was open but it was still quiet. There wasn’t much to say at this point. Everyone even John Hart had nothing to say. Ianto knew they were all worried about various things and they were all quiet for different reason.

He watched the road, he wasn’t driving fast because it was dark and they decided to drive with no lights, with luck it would be slow but safe going to Cardiff. Kara and Ianto had gone over the maps before they left and Kara was in charge of working out the fastest way there. The back of the truck gave her the best vantage point. The night was quiet and looking out at the hills and fields you would never think that mankind was facing total and complete extinction and not just humans, but all life, even the very planet. None of them had been up against anything like this before, not to this scale.

Ianto smiled to himself, he wondered if he was going to see his parents again or even Mrs. Fig, that dear sweet woman who always had a kind word and a nice smile for him, she always wanted to travel more and would ask Ianto about his job at the travel agency continually, he had promised her that when she felt up to it he would plan the most amazing holiday for her. She would smile wide and even blush just a bit at the offer.

Then there were Tosh and Owen thank god they didn’t exists in this world, who knows what they would have been like here. He and Owen would have roe after roe, but he would have done anything for him, just like Tosh. They were all more then co-workers they were his friends and Ianto didn’t have many friends. Ianto sighed, would any of them ever make it home and fix things. He really wasn’t sure; things hadn’t been going well since the start.

“You’re quiet, well more quiet then normal.” Gwen said looking at Ianto she had been off in her own thoughts as well. “Sorry.” Ianto said watching the road. Gwen looked at him, “I miss them too.” She said almost able to read Ianto’s mind, they had worked together enough so that Gwen could tell what he is thinking about. “Yep, we’ll get them back.” Gwen shook her head, “Not Jack and Kas. I mean the others, Owen, Tosh, Rhys, my mum and dad…hell even Rhys mothers.” Ianto and Gwen both smiled at that, “She’s a charmer, she is.” Ianto said. Gwen nodded, “I would give anything right now to hear her and mum go at each other in that tone they have.” Gwen said smiling at the thought.

“I’ve really fuck-up Ianto.” Gwen said looking at him. “I should have known it wasn’t Jack. He would never…” Gwen stopped thinking of the past several days and what she had done and how it made her feel. Ianto took his eyes off the road and looked at her, he reached out his hand gave her knee a gentle squeeze. “Kas and Jack fooled us all. Kas most of all, I never saw it coming and now there were so many signs.” Gwen looked at him, “I knew. I mean my gut told me something was wrong and now.”

“But still that is nothing compared to Jack. How could I be so stupid, you warmed me everything told me no and I still gut sucked in.” Gwen said, Ianto wasn’t sure what to say, it wasn’t easy for him or her least of all. “These things happen Gwen, we were all scared and looking for comfort anywhere we could find it. When this is over nothing that we did or didn’t do will make any difference, the world will be set right and what happened here dies here.” Ianto said, not trying to convince her but himself as well. “But I’ll know what I did, we’ll all know, how do you fix that?”

Ianto looked back at her seeing her expression, what could he tell her, there was nothing this was going to be her burden and hers alone. “You have all of us…we’re all here for you and we won’t think any less of you, we never could.” Gwen smiled and looked at Ianto, “We’ll cross that bridge when we get there I suppose.” Gwen said going quiet again looking out the window as Ianto drove. Kara peeked her head in the window, “We have about 2 miles before we have to turn off, it’s going to be on your right.” Kara said looking in at the two of them, with the wind and focusing on other things she hadn’t heard what they were walking about.

“Thanks, got it.” Ianto said as Kara popped her head back out. Ianto called back to the others, “Mick how’s the leg?” Mick looked over his shoulder at Ianto, “it’s fine, mom, I’m keeping it elevated and nice and secure as instructed.” Ianto smiled, “Good. John in the med kit there is another shot, give it to Mick.”

“Ianto, it’s fine.” Mick said in protest. “Of course it Major and we’re all going on a picnic. I’ve watched the time and I know the medicine we’ve been giving you, you are due for another shot. We need to you ready for action and we can’t risk you having to respond quickly and not being able to.” Ianto watched the road as John rifled through the med kit finding the siring. The truck reached the turn off and headed in the direction of Cardiff. “Got it eye-candy.” John said with an evil smile, “Ok major roll over on your side and pull your pants down…I promise I’ll be gentle.”

“In the leg will be just fine.” Mick said in an annoyed tone. John shrugged, “spoil sport.” John reach down and cleaned the area with an alcohol swab and gave Mick the shot. Ianto heard Mick let out a quick little yelp. “There we go.” John said, “Not as fun as giving you the shot in the bum.”

“Mick how is the dressing.” Ianto said trying to ignore John’s comment. “I think it’s fine.” Ianto nodded and Gwen looked at him, “we’ll need to stop and redress his wound and check for any infections. I don’t think will be any, but it will still need to be done.”

“Are you sure, how long will it take.” Gwen said thinking about the head start Jack and Kas had. “Not long we can do it when we fill up with fuel.” Gwen nodded. “Got it.”

“You know eye-candy. When this is all over, you should come with me, we could have a lot of fun. I had no idea you were so handy, I just thought you were only around to…you know look pretty and fetch tea.” John said looking at Ianto, through the rearview mirror. Ianto shook his head meeting his eyes in the mirror, “I already have a job.” John shrugged, “suit yourself.” John said leaning back looking out into the night sky.

Ianto knew that John was actually being nice for a change, it wouldn’t last Ianto knew they both new that. Still it was a nice change from how he normally got treated by John. This road was more narrow and not as maintained, if it ever was, but Kara and assured them that it would save them at least 2 hours on the trip. They had hopped to be much farther along then they were, but you couldn’t have everything and they were doing what they could with what they had. Ianto knew they wouldn’t catch up with Kas and Jack but they were, by his figuring, only about 6 hours behind them with luck they would close that gap even more.

Kas et al - Old Wounds

“It’s really too bad you can’t join in the conversation Doctor.” He cocked his head to the side. “It must be lonely, just jacking off by yourself… oh wait, you don’t do that either. You’re asexual.” He let out an amused laugh. “The loneliest, most pathetic man in the universe. All brains and no cock…. Such a waste.”

Kas smiled looking back at Jack, he was amazing, so cruel so wicked, so hot. God she wanted him, wanted him worse then anything. Seeing him shot Mathias was just, well she hadn’t ever remembered being that wet. The pathetic Doctor sitting there wanting to say something but not able to. The Master the impatient Master having it all and losing every bit of it. Kas couldn’t help but laugh. “Something funny Kasandra?” Jack asked looking over at her in the drivers seat. “I’m just laughing at how pathetic they all are. Two super beings years beyond us and look at them, locked up like the little bitches they are. No funny quips from either of them.” Kas looked over her shoulder, “pathetic.”

“Watch your tongue you bitch.” The Master said looking at her having his fill, he was the ruler of this planet not them. He created all this and for her to sit mocking him, some former nobody, who thinks she’s somebody now how dare she. “Tell me Master are you so small that you had to create a huge tower to live in to measure up?” Kas laughed Jack had told her about the tower and how it was built over the HUB and how it was the largest building on the planet. “I’m going to cut…” the Master was cut off by Jack backhanding him the Master tasted his own blood, “another word form you Master and…well you don’t need your tongue now do you.” Jack said with a smile licking the blood off his fingers, enjoying it more and more. Kas let out a wicked laugh again, “not so powerful now are you, why you’re no better then the humans who work in the minds now? Wouldn’t you say Master?” Kas said in a mocking tone.

“Oh Jack I know. The Master is so found of dogs and pets. Did Jake say that the master gave him a collar and a dog house?” Jack laughed, “Why Kasandra I think he did.” Kas nodded, “Well until we get to the Tower and set him up right. Can we give him a cute doggy name and treat him the same way? I’ve always wanted a pet. Can we please?” Kas said gitty. Jack laughed as the doctor looked at them a mixture of anger and humiliation all at once.

“What name did you have in mind Kas.” Jack said laughing. The Doctor looked at the Master shaking his head seeing the anger build up in him. Kas thought for a minute. “Buddy…no…Fido….no…Bubbles…no, oh I know.” Kas said turning quickly and looking at Jack.

“His name is going to be…STINKY or Stinks for short.” Kas said looking back to the road, Jack letting out a big hearty laugh. “That is perfect.” Jack moved over to the Master, “Do you like you new name, Stinky?” Jack rubbed the Master’s head like you would an adored pet.

“How dare you!” The Master yelled. “You’re a useless…” the Master felt the back of Jack’s gun hit is face. “Bad Stinky…bad.” Kas laughed as did Jack.

“Master stop it, just stop.” The Doctor said, “We can’t win this, not now.”

There was a gunshot and Mathias let out another cry of pain, Jack shot right next to Mathias some of the shrapnel hitting him. “His name is Stinky and anyone calls him something different I will shot Mathias in another location, that was a warning, call it your learning curve are we all clear. The Doctor nodded Mathis looked away, Jack went over to him and grabbed his face, “Are we clear Blondie?” Mathias nodded and looked away.

“There you go my Queen, you have a pet and everyone loves the knew name.” Jack said and Kas laughed looking in the rearview mirror seeing the Doctor look at Stinky and frown he was giving up.

“Giving up so soon Doctor, I hear that’s not your style at all. And to think of how foundly Danni spoke of you. Oh Doctor how she loves you, if she could only see you now, beaten. All she ever wanted was for you to touch her to hold her kiss her.” Kas looked in the mirror watching him enjoying mocking him, “we talked for hours about you and how you didn’t look at her and there were so many chances she tried so many times.” The Doctor said nothing he couldn’t let Jack and Kas do this to him, he wasn’t the Master he had to stay in control of his emotions, for the good of everyone.

“Doctor you really have no idea what you missed. I can’t say I ever got the chance to enjoy her like Jack and Stinky, yet, but what I saw, well, you must either have nothing in-between your legs or are you dead?” Jack laughed.

“I think Doctor I’m going to fuck you, show you what you’ve been missing. Then you will forever know what you could have had with her, but never getting it.” Kas smiled looking out the front window the road ahead was clear and the drive so far uneventful. The Doctor looked at Jack then to Kas taking a breath. Then he looked at Mathias, who was growing pale and in pain form the gunshot and shrapnel. “Are you going to tend to his wounds?” The Doctor said trying to change the subject. Jack looked at Mathias, “He’ll live.” The Doctor eyed Jack, “you need to tend to his wounds or he could bleed out. If you’re not going to help him, at least let me.” The Doctor said.

Kas sighed shaking her head, “Jack fix-up Blondie, I don’t want to listen to the Doctor whine and prattle on the rest of the way….he can be such a little bitch like that.” Kas said. Jack laughed, “Oh I’ll take care of Blondie.” Jack said evil dripping from his voice. “Leave me alone.” Mathias said, defiant as ever. Jack laughed, “I could give you a matching wound in the other shoulder if you’d like?” Jack said pulling the gun out and pointing it at the other shoulder. Kas could hear jack pulling something out of one of the boxes in back. “Here.” Jack said, Kas looked over her shoulder and saw Jack had tossed Mathias some bandages. Jack sat back down and watched them. “Happy now Doctor?” Kas heard Jack say, as she watched the road and drove.

May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.

Gwen was hurting. She hadn't let the others know, they had more important things to worry about.

Her physical pain didn't hurt, at least not much, she still had some bruises fro when Kas had hit her wih a stick, and from the recent going ons, and her ribs twinged everytime she took a deep breath, but it all seemed distant, like it was happening to someone else.

It was her mental pain that really hurt. Shge had just gone through a serious mind-fuck, as had Mick and Ianto. It seemed that Gwen;s life had become a serious mind-fuck ever since that incident in the barn, the one that led them all here in the first place.

She felt better talking to Ianto, like a whole load got taken off her chest. She had come to a realization. She was married, to a wonderful man, a man who loved her. No matter which Jack is was, she had no call betraying that mans trust in her, no matter the timeline.

Her affair with Jack had been good. REALLY good, when she thought about it, but she was married. Rhys had never cheated on her, had never done anythng to intentionally hurt her. And she had already cheated on him with Owen, and he hadn't handled that well at all.

Gwen wasn't sure if she could ever tell Rhys what she and Jack had done, but she vowed to herself that her and Jack could never be. No more affairs, no more sneaking around, she had to end it.

Easier said then done, as the saying went. She would have to wait and see what panned out.

The truck bounced over the lonely road, the ruins of the castle now far behind them. It hadn't been too long since Jack and Kas had gone, that they had followed, a matter of a few hours.

Gwen hoped they would find everyone allright, of course, she could care less about the Master, and the Doctor could regenerate, much like Jack, but she was worried about Mathias and Kas. True, Kas wasn't herself, and was technically a bad guy, but she was mortal, and there was every chance the Master could....

No. Jack would be able to take the Master if he tried anything, and Mathias was smart enough tolie low and keep out of trouble. Gwen was more worried about what would hapen if they failed to catch up to them in time.

Gwen turned to look at Mick. He was sitting in the back, leg propped up on the seat opposite him ,looking as glm as she probably felt. Jack had said some horrible things, but he hadn't shot her.

"John, switch with me, would ya?" Gwen said.

John scoffed, "You tired of looking at eye-candy?"

"Just do it." Kara said, her voice low and dangerous.

"C'mon John, we're all in this together, you don't have to be a dick to us." Gwen said. John's sneer diddn't diminish, but he relaxed, and - after much squeezing and grunting- traded places with Gwen, so he rode shotgun with Ianto.

Gwen sat down next to Mick. "How ya feelin?" She asked softly.

"Been better." Was his short reply.

They sat in silence for a moment, until, "Do, do you think we can help her? Help them?" Mick asked.

Gwen thought about it. "Since I've joined Torchwood, I've been put in more deadly situations then I ever would have as a police officer. Faeries, aliens, Weevils, all sorts of stuff. And yet.... And yet, no matter what we faced, we always managed to pull out in the end."

"But you always had Jack on your side." Mick pointed out, "He's not fully gone, but he's not fully on our side either."

"This is true." Gwen fell silent. Mick seemed to sense his negativity, because he quickly said, "But hey, don't listen to me, even without Jack, I'm sure you've gotten out of some pretty hairy situations, right? I mean, you DID re-take that breeding facility, ithout Jack, right?"

Gwen nodded, "We did, but this is different. It's the five of us against whatever they can muster against us. Those are pretty long odds."

"But at last we have the element of surprise," Ianto said from the front seat, "They don't know that we fixed the car, they have no clue that we're following them."

"Not to mention, if we can catch up to them early enough, it'll just be the two of them." Kara said grimly.

"The two of them, whole, hearty and healthy." John put in. "Mick's leg is shot, Gwen's probably too sore to move much, and Ianto isn't really much in battle- no offence, eye-candy." John said, looking at Ianto.

"None taken, asshole." Ianto said, with a cheery smile.

"My point is," John said, "I that we may outnumber them, but they're in better condition, out of the five of us, only me and hotcheeks over there are one hundred percent." John said, with a nod to Kara.

"All this won't matter if we can't get to them before they can reach some type of reinforcements." Kara said.

"We're forgetting the Doctor." Mick spoke up, "If I know the Doctor, he's going to have some trick up his sleeve. Not to mention the Master, the crazy bastards not going to go down without a fight, I'll wager."

This hushed the conversation for a few minutes, the only sound the steady thrum of the transports engines. Mick's comment got them all thinking. The Master was acrazy bugger, this was true, but there was no denying his genious. If he did have an escape planned, whose to say it wouldn't end with Kas, Jack, Mathias's and The Doctors destruction? It wasn't a pleasent thought.

Ianto cleared his throat. "At any rate, we should be catching up to them soon."

Gwen leaned her head back, her sore body aching with even the slightest movement. The mind-fuck continued, it seemed.

More then anything, Gwen looked forward to the day that they went back to their own time, so she could concentrate on sorting out the mess her life had become.
"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I'm the man whose gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

Ianto et al - Wildmen

“You know eye-candy. I know a way to make this drive a lot more fun. It’s an old trick I learned on some of the longer trips Jack and I took.” John said moving closer to Ianto. Ianto looked at John, “stay on your side of the cab.” Ianto said looking out the window not wanting to even see John, but he did feel him move back away. “You’re too up tight eye-candy…I would have thought a couple of years with Jack would have loosened you up.” John sighed and looked out the window.

The truck lurched to the right and Ianto compensated causing the vehicle to jar quickly, then there was a loud explosion. Ianto veered to the right then the left, “Eye-candy…what the hell?” John bellowed as he crashed into Ianto’s side then the door. There were a few more yells from the back of the truck as well from the others there were several items that crashed as well. Ianto didn’t hear any of them as he struggled to get the truck under control. He managed to stop the truck with some effort keeping it on the road and not in a ditch. “Everyone ok?” He called back looking at the others over his shoulders. Gwen was holding Mick keeping him stable and Kara was picking herself up off the floor. “Who taught you how to drive?” John said releasing his death grip on the side of the door. Ianto shot him a look and opened his door and got out of the truck to survey it for damage.

He checked the driver side first and then moved to the back, he was joined by Gwen and John, “Well?” John said dusting himself off looking around. This was getting to not be as much as he had hopped.

Gwen looked at him, “I’ll check the other side.” Ianto nodded and Gwen walked around to the other side of the vehicle. Ianto was shaking his head, he knew without looking what the trouble was, a flat tire one if not two. It could have been worse but this was going to set them back and time is what they didn’t have. Mick peeked his head out looking at John and Ianto, “flat?” He said recognizing the feel and what Ianto had to do to stop them. Ianto looked at him and nodded, “Yep.” Mick sighed and sat back down stating to clean-up some of the toppled items with Kara. “Found it.” Gwen called and Ianto walked over to her. “I’ll take care of the flat, why don’t you fill up the fuel and check the other stuff.” Gwen said. “Might as well take a breather, let everyone stretch. We’re going to be stuck anyways.” Ianto said looking at her. Gwen frowned but agreed.

“Alright, everyone you have till we get refueled and tire fixed, don’t wonder off.” Ianto said. Kara looked at Mick and grabbed her gun and quickly jumped out of the back gun in hand and started patrolling. Ianto walked to the front of the truck making sure it was in park and the brake was one he saw John starting to wonder off, “Oy, stay close.” Ianto said looking at him. “I’m going to take a piss unless you want to watch or help eye-candy.” Ianto rolled his eyes, “Just don’t go too far.” Ianto went to the back of the truck and pulled out the fuel can as Gwen was already working on getting out the new tire and Mick was giving her a hand. Ianto took the can and went over to the fuel tank and within a few seconds he was refueling the vehicle.

They had made such good time and now this, it was the last thing they needed but a flat tire wasn’t the worst thing that could have happened the worst thing…Ianto stopped and looked around suddenly he closed it quickly fuel can quickly and put the tank cover back on. He ran over to the back of the truck Gwen and Mick were still there, “Gwen how did the tire look?” Ianto said in a hurried voice. Gwen and Mick looked at him with a funny expression, “It was flat.” Gwen said smiling then noticing the worry on his face. “Ianto what?” Gwen said.

Ianto remembered the trip that they took leaving the castle, “The Selvatico-berät, I think is what Mathias called them. They attacked us when we left the castle; they are wildmen that live here in the area. We haven’t seen any and I haven’t thought about them.” Mick looked at Gwen, “We need to move.” Mick said pushing more of the equipment out of the way, to get to the extra tire. “I’m going to find the others.” Ianto said pulling out and checking his weapon he nodded to Gwen and Mick and walked off. “Kara…John?” Ianto said starting out from the truck, it was night and there were no lights except what the moon and the truck offered, this wasn’t going to be easy. Ianto heard Gwen and Mick working quickly he wasn’t sure but it sounded like Mick was out of the truck working as well. He would have raised a fuss, but they needed to get out of there.

Ianto moved out in a circular motion from the truck he looked around at the surroundings they weren’t in a forest but the brush was high and there were plenty of trees and large rocks in the area, he heard an owl off in the distance along with several other creatures, he was hopping they were only creatures and not these Wildmen. Every time Ianto thought he was slowly getting used to the outdoors in this place, though it was England, it wasn’t really and he had seem some very different looking creatures, which he hoped he wouldn’t run into tonight. Ianto continued to call out, ‘where did they go?’ he thought then Ianto saw a shadow and pointed his gun, “Kara? John?” The shadow turned as Ianto calked his gun pointed at it’s head, it moved into the moonlight, “Ianto what’s going on?” Kara said looking at him confused. Ianto moved towards her, quickly and as quietly as he could.

“Kara have you seen John?” Ianto looked at her, she sensed the worry and he could see her senses heighten. “No, I was patrolling. Why what’s around?” Ianto nodded looking out at the distance, “There are wildmen here, I didn’t think about them until the flat, we need to move. Go back and help Gwen and Mick. I’ll see if I can find John.” Kara nodded, “Are you sure?” Kara said watching him, “Despite popular belief I’m not totally useless.” He said with a smile. Kara returned the smile, “I know.” She nodded and headed back to the truck and Ianto continued on. “John for fuck sake where are you?” Ianto said calling out, in a lower voice.

Ianto thought for a moment, they should just leave him the wanker was almost as bad as the Master. Ianto sighed, that wasn’t true and he knew it, no John for all his faults didn’t try and destroy the world; in fact he did try and help them save it. Ianto knew he couldn’t leave John even if he wanted to and right now he wanted to. Ianto continued to call out while he looked, he heard something like a branch snap and before he knew what hit him he was on the ground two very forceful lips crushing done on his a heavy body laying on top of his. Ianto raised the gun allowing the person to kiss him and pressed it to John’s temple. John broke off them kiss still rubbing up against him, “Why eye-candy is that a gun in your pocket or are you really happy to see me.” Ianto pushed John off him. “You bloody wanker. Come on we need to go.” Ianto said standing up dusting himself off. John was getting up as well a big smile on his face, “why it was just getting good?”

“There are wildmen out here, I didn’t think about them till the flat tire. So we need to move.” Ianto said heading back to the truck. John was following, still enjoying getting the upper hand on Ianto, he always knew why jack fancied him and that kiss just confirmed his thoughts. “Wildmen you say, I bet they’re more fun then you lot.” John said following Ianto. “Just come on.” Ianto said making there way back to the truck.

As they got to the truck there were three clicks as three different guns were now pointed at them, “It’s us.” Ianto said, not really stopping. They were back to the truck in short order and Gwen and Kara were still working on the wheel and Mick was sitting in the truck scouting the area watching for uninvited guest. “What took you?” Mick said. John smiled, “Ianto couldn’t keep his hands off me.” John said with a devilish smile going to the back of the truck not bothering to offer to help Kara and Gwen. Ianto shook his head looking at Mick, “Wanker.” Ianto said passing them both heading over to Gwen and Kara, “What’s the hold up?” Gwen looked at Ianto, “We’re having trouble with the wheel, getting it off.” Ianto nodded, “What can I do?” Kara looked at him, “Make sure none of your friends find us.” Ianto nodded and walked back over to Mick checking his weapon again.

“What are these wildmen like?” Mick said never stopping his scouting of the area. Ianto shrugged, “Not sure really, they attacked us once but then fled. They seem to remind me of weevils, not to bright and do a quick attack and then flee. I think we would only have to worry if they were in large numbers. Mathias, Andi and Archer didn’t seem to worry too much about them, but they also knew them a lot better then I do.” Mick nodded seeming to understand. John walked over, to them, “Eye-candy how about giving me a weapon. I’m a good shot.” Ianto thought for a moment and handed him his gun. “What are you doing?” Mick said worried. Ianto looked at Mick, “I may not like John and he might be an arrogant wanker at times, but he’s a good shot and he won’t turn on us.” Ianto pulled the weapons sack and pulled out another gun checking it and putting it on him.

“You sure about that?” Mick said. Ianto nodded, “I am.”

“Where’s the love, Major?” John said a bit ercked at the lack of trust. “I came to you and have done nothing but offer to help and this is how I get treated. I’m crushed.” John said in smarvy tone. Mick and Ianto rolled their eyes.

“Just don’t do anything stupid and no more funny stuff, meaning keep you bloody hands to yourself.” Ianto said looking at John who was looking coy and innocient.

John looked at Ianto, “Deny it all you want eye-candy, no one who kisses like you with the much…hunger. You can’t say you don’t care, plus I felt that…” John was pointing to Ianto’s crotch. Mick looked at John and Ianto cutting him off, “I feel like I’m living in Science Fiction Porno movie.” Mick said flabbergasted with John’s one track mind. Ianto looked at Mick, “I didn’t…we…there wasn’t…” John winked at Ianto and walked off.

Ianto waited for John to get out of ear shot, “Friend or Foe I still want to shoot him at times.” Ianto said beyond irritated with John. “I heard that eye-candy and if we had the time I’m sure there is some shooting we could arrange.” Mick smiled looking at Ianto, then they heard, “You could join us Major.” Mick looked at Ianto a bit surprised, “I don’t believe this.” Ianto looked at him, “you don’t what about me.”

May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.

“Name?” The guard said looking through the window at Jack who was now driving, Kas sitting in the passenger seat beside him, gun resting casually on her knee.

“Captain Jack Harkness and this is Kasandra Zapatero. We’ve got…” he looked over his shoulder at their three prisoners in the back “a delivery for Nina and Devon. Open the damn gate.”

“Yes sir,” the guard said with a curt nod as though they’d been expected when in fact they had. “Go right in.”

“Thanks,” Jack said his eyes looking over the Elite appreciatively. “You know,” he cut off as Kas’s hand slapped against his shoulder hard. “Kinky,” he said looking over at her the window sliding up.

“Are you always this,”

“He is,” the Doctor said from the back.

Jack just shrugged and grinned at Kas, reaching over and rubbing the back of her neck gently. “What did I tell you about talking?” He called over his shoulder and the Doctor fell silent accepting that there wasn’t a snowballs chance in hell of bonding with their captors.

“What is going to happen to us?” Mathias asked speaking up for the first time in hours.

“Oh it’ll be lots of fun,” Kas said turning around in her seat to look at them. “Though I won’t get to keep Stinky for long.” She pouting looking at Jack. “Can’t we,”

“No,” Jack said. “Sorry love, but you know the plan.”

“No,” Kas said tapping Jack’s head. “Some of us aren’t hardwired into the system, Harkness.”

“Not all it’s cracked up to be,” Jack said. “These headaches are killing me.” When she gave him a sympathetic look he shrugged. “Being the hand of God isn’t easy, or at least that’s what they say. Get them ready, we’ll be there in a few minutes.” He gave Kas’s ass a nice slap as she walked by him into the back of the cab. “To bad you’re not wearing a skirt.” He quipped with a sly smile and she slapped his hand away with a laugh. He could just about smell her. Jack took a deep breath trying to calm himself down. All he could think about was pulling over and pinning her on the floor, ripping open her top and, stop it Jack… work first, play later. God’s will be done… since when did he believe in God, at least to this extent?

He rubbed his left temple wincing in pain and he could hear Kas giving orders to their little friends in the back. God, he loved it when she was commanding, that tone in her voice. That little fucker Mick, he didn’t know what he had… and now she was his. And Gwen… he groaned suddenly, his sight going black for a second before coming back. Thankfully the transport hadn’t swerved. Stop thinking about her, stop thinking about Ianto… you’ll get them back. You won’t if God’s will is done. God before me, he told himself. Live to serve. It’s what he was meant to do, what he’d been chosen for, punishment for his sins, eternal atonement for the wrongs he had done during his natural life.

With the streets practically empty, arriving at the citadel took little time and he swung around, pulling through the main entrance into the carport. It looked just how he’d left it earlier. No, no it didn’t, he thought his eyes sweeping around. There were no humans to be seen. Only Elite walked in here now, in fact he hadn’t seen any humans since entering the city.

God’s will, he told himself, the sinners had to be punished and there was no species more sinful than the human race. To wipe them out, it would be glorious, to see God’s will flood the earth and beyond.

“Sir!” Called an Elite jogging over to Jack as he opened the door, heading around to the back to unlock the exit for Kas. “Welcome back!”

Jack made a guttural noise in the back of his throat as he threw the lock. “What is it?”

“Devon has sent word stating to go through the rear entrance to the HUB.” The Elite said. “Something about the Kindred showing up early. They’re resting up in the Tower now, but they’ve left sentries by the main entrance.”

Jack nodded, scoffing slightly seeing the displeasure on Nina’s face. She wasn’t one to be told what to do, not by the Master, and not by the Kindred. Their greatest creation would soon be their undoing. “Thanks,” he said pulling open the door. The Elite hissed suddenly seeing the Master and Jack grabbed him by the throat spinning him around and slamming him against the side of the transport.

“I love a man in charge,” Kas purred pushing the Master, followed by the Doctor and Mathias roughly out of the back of the transport. Mathias landed hard, falling to his knees and she kicked him, “get up, you piece of shit. Don’t help him,” she said shoving the Doctor away as he bent to help Mathias. “Come on blondie.”

Jack watched Kas almost transfixed for a moment. “As soon as they’re locked up,” he said to her “I’m going to fuck you til you bleed.”

“That a promise?” Kas asked pushing up her breasts at him. “Finish what you’re doing, love.” She kicked Mathias again just as he was starting to stand and he fell back to the ground causing her to laugh.

Jack turned back to the Elite who was clawing at his wrist violently, trying to breathe. His nails kept digging into Jack’s skin drawing blood though the wounds closed almost instantly. “Should just, be a minute, honey.” He said cocking his head to the side watching the Elite struggle for breath. “Soon,” he whispered softly to the dying man “you’ll be dead… along with the rest of your dirty race. Consider yourself lucky, that it’s by my hand, instead of God’s.”

“Jack, Jack,” Kas said. “Hurry up and kill him.” She moved to the side so that she could get a better look, watching with a small smile on her face, excited by the site. Her weapon was still in her hand as she watched, her attention still on the captives though it didn’t look it. When the Master made a move to flee she fired, the bullet digging into the concrete at his feet. “Don’t be a bitch, Stinky. Jack!”

“Oh fine,” he said pulling a knife from under his jacket and slitting the Elite’s throat not blinking twice at the arterial blood that spattered across his face. “You take the fun out of everything.”

“Not everything,” Kas said wrapping her arms around him and kissing him tasting the Elite’s blood on his lips. “Don’t wash that off until after we fuck.”

“Whatever makes you happy, kitten.” He replied and let out a long breath. “Do you have any idea how hard I am?”

Kas rubbed the front of his pants licking the blood off his cheek. “Do you have any idea how wet I am?”

“Let’s get on with it, shall we?” The Doctor said chipperly as though not irritated at all by the sexual banter. “I believe your masters await.”

“Our Master,” Kas said backhanding the Doctor “is the Lord God himself. We are but his hands.”

“Oh…yeah…” Jack said looking her over with a hungry expression and shivering violently as he forced his libido back under control. “Let’s move.” He walked by Mathias, grabbing the blonde man by the hair and pulling him after him. Mathias let out a groan of pain and followed, hunched over and his head twisted to the side trying to alleviate the pressure on this scalp. Kas grabbed the Doctor’s and Master’s arms pulling them after him as they lead them to the platform. “Run and I shoot you in the knees,” he said to Mathias “any of you” he added and activated the platform, the concrete slab descending into the ground silently.

“Honey!” Jack called as it came to a rest and he stepped off. “I’m home! Always loved the sound of that,” he said to Kas reaching back and grabbing Mathias ripping him off the platform. Mathias’s foot caught on the step and he crashed down to the floor and Jack let out a heavy, disappointed sigh. “Good thing you’re pretty, blondie.” He said turning and holding out a hand to Kas, helping her down in a very gentlemanly move.

“Jack,” Nina purred at him coming out of her office, that in another time and space, was his office though he had no memory of it. “And dear Kasandra.” She said touching the sides of their faces. “My angels.”

“I’m going to kill you,” the Master hissed at Nina, his eyes flashing daggers. “I’ll gut you and hang you by your intestines you back stabbing,”

“Where’s Dani?” The Doctor asked interrupting him.

“Oh, she’s resting.” Nina said. “You’ll see her soon enough.”

“If you’ve hurt her,” the Doctor and the Master said almost in perfect unison.

“They say that a lot.” Kas replied rolling her eyes. “Holding cells?”

“Of course dear,” Nina said caressing Kas’s cheek like a proud mother. “Separate cells for each of them, and do remind the Master,”

“Stinky,” Kas said. “His name is Stinky now.”

“Do remind Stinky,” Nina said with obvious “that the better he behaves, the longer we’ll keep him safe from the Kindred.” She smiled at the Master with great relish. “You do realize that you were never in control. We only let you think you were. You gave us, everything, that we need to complete the Lord’s work. Take them away, and then rest. You’ve deserved it my angels.”

Jack and Kas both nodded.

“Let’s move kids,” Jack said walking forward, Kas taking up the rear shoving their captives after them. “It’s not the Ritz but if you ask really, really nice,” he said leading them down into the holding area “I might get you a blanket, and by nice, I mean on your knees.” He chuckled and Kas laughed, shaking her head impatient to get these three locked away. Though both of them were anxious to be done with their captives, neither would neglect their duties. It was, after all, against their programming.

Kas/Jack - Blood and Sweat

(OOC: This is very rough, even for me this was difficult…enjoy…and you have been warned.)

IC:

“They are so annoying.” Kas said as she and Jack walked though the HUB. After putting there pets into their pens, Nina was standing there watching them smiling. “Are they all set?” she asked, “Of course.” Jack said and Kas nodded. “Is there anything else?” Nina thought for a moment, “No you to deserve your rest. Go.” Kas offered a simple bow and they made their way to the elevator, Jack was watching her ass and she knew it. “We should have just killed them and been done with it.” Kas said once they were out of ear shot. “The Doctor and Stinky don’t need their tongues, we could have just cut them out, that would have worked.” She continued as the elevator doors opened and Jack pushed her into the car turning her so they faced each other, their lips smashing together the blood still fresh and warm on him, Kas enjoyed the taste of the Elite blood, so much different then the human blood so much more intoxicating. Kas felt the buttons on her shirt rip as Jack released her breasts, her bra shredded under his touch. Kas pulled at the buttons on his pants releasing him as Jack bit down hard on her nipple, she moaned in excitement. The mix of blood and sweat was intoxicating to her. Jack violently ripped at her pants forcing them open.

His hand reaching into her pants and forcing his digits into her, she was so wet and warm, there was no resistance and he wanted so much for there to be. Jack bit at her nipple again as he forced his other hand up and into her mouth which Kas took eagerly. All of her senses heightened. The elevator experience was violent, painful and an explosion of so many things, by the time the elevator reached the floor with Jack’s suite the elevator car was covered in clothes, blood and sweat. Jack forced them into the hall and Kas pushed him onto the floor their bodies a single mass of flesh, they knocked over something but neither cared what it was.

There was another crash as Jack forced Kas’s legs apart and thrust himself into her, a look of pure lust on his face, he was there and present but not as was she, they saw each other and didn’t. They were nothing more then flesh to be enjoyed. Kas smiled in both pain and pleasure as Jacks movements became more volatile, with a single motion she forced Jack onto his back with her on top not allowing him to leave her or stop the motion, she needed him to continue, to fill her to destroy her and make her scream. Kas looked down at Jack as she road him and took her hands and dug them into his chest tearing at his flesh as she ran her hands down his front, she smiled as skin separated and his blood spilled then wounds quickly healing. He laughed in anguish. She stopped only long enough to lick her fingers as she felt him bucking under her. Kas leaned into him and again there lips collided together Jack tasting his own blood on her lips, it was electric. There tongues like daggers probing deeper and deeper into their mouths.

Jack felt her getting close he took he free hand and pinched her nipples so hard that Kas was sure he was going to rip them off, but she didn’t care, he felt so good, nothing mattered just him, just him in her, they had promised him to her. He was hers, as she was his and nothing would come between them, not that bitch Gwen or even that useless whelp Ianto and if they tried she would hang them, strip the flesh from their bodies and gut them. The idea of their two bodies handing there lifeless, with nothing recognizable let, Kas even thought that she would find out what the Kindred enjoyed so much about human meat, it was only Gwen and Ianto after all. With that final image Kas’s climax was so strong that it took Jack by surprise, but it was going to make his climax that much more powerful, Kas smiled at him as she watched him and she looked down at his handsome face striking him feeling his nose break as his body convulsed in climax, Jack let out a cry of pleasure and pain. He looked at Kas surprised as she smiled and again there lips crashed into each other. Jacks blood mingling with their kiss.

After several moments, Kas rolled off him and looked at him his body spent for the time being, he smiled at her and she returned the smile. She watched as his again stiffing cock stirred, “I’m going to shower.” She said, reaching down and squeezing it as hard as she could, causing him to let out a whimper or exhilaration. She smiled at the reaction and stood up and walked off, leaving him there ready for a third go, she knew he would follow her; there was no doubt in her mind.

Kas walked down the hall, she had never been here before, but somehow she knew where she was going. It was all very familiar to her and with ease she found the bathroom and shower and turned the water onto hot and stepped in, letting the water hit her body she ran the water through her hair and soon enough she felt Jack in the shower with her. She opened her eyes and looked at him he started kissing her neck and teasing her snatch with his already throbbing cock. Kas pushed him to his knees with forces, Jack was not used to being pushed around, not be anyone, “I think you know what to do.” She said looking at him it was a look that told him all he needed to know. Jack looked up at her and he laughed, “I never you had it in you…Kasandra.” Jack said, “There’s a lot you don’t know about me Captain.” Kas said looking down at him, “Now get to work.” She commanded and Jack obliged.
May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.

Jack stretched on the bed, feeling the smooth, cool sheets hiss under his skin as he moved and he looked over to see Kas sleeping soundly beside him. He ran a hand over his face and let out a long breath quietly. His head was killing him, it really was. It felt like, like, like hot blades slicing through his brain. He was half tempted to talk to Nina and see if there was anything that they could do for him. They’d made them better before. They’d been a lot better before that pissant Ianto had shot him in the head, Ianto and that traitor bastard Dimitri.

Silently, Jack slid out of bed and went into the bathroom, his footsteps unsteady and he filled the sink with cold water before shoving his face down inside the icy liquid. It bit at him like tiny razors, snapping the last of sleep away from his consciousness and he held it there until his lungs started to burn. For a moment he wondered if he could do it, if he could manage to drown himself. He didn’t though, he didn’t even try. He pulled his head out of the water with a gasp looking at his reflection in the mirror.

He wanted to be good. He wanted to do God’s work. He wanted to, he wanted… he wanted so badly to do right but then why feel this, conflict? He didn’t understand it. He tried, again and again he tried. He was doing the right thing. He was God’s hand, paying penance for his sins, doing HIS work… but then why did he feel like it was wrong? Like he should be… stopping it?

Jack pressed his head against the mirror closing his eyes, turning his head slightly as he felt Kas’s hand on his shoulder. “Did I wake you?” He asked softly

Kas took his hand and led him back into the bedroom gently now and she sat him down on the bed, tucking her legs up under her as she settled down beside him. “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” he replied “something, I don’t know.” Jack shook his head and flopped down onto his back. “It’s just my head.”

“God’s voice can be deafening, Jack, and you hear it clearest of all.” She said twisting her body around, her knees resting against his arm. His hand rose up, landing on her knee, his fingers moving gently over the smooth flesh. “Do you doubt the Word?”

Jack was silent for a moment before answering. “I don’t, I don’t know Kas. Hey!” He said as her fist slammed into his cheek and he tasted blood. “You want me to lie to you?!?” He snapped at her shoving her away hard enough to send her tumbling off the edge of the bed onto the floor. “I don’t know Kas! Okay? I don’t know!”

“How can you doubt it?” Kas asked angrily. “The Lord,”

“It’s these headaches!” He said sitting up. “These never ending headaches. Every time I do His work they get worse. How can that be? Why would He do that?” He wiped the blood from his lip and looked down at Kas who was sitting on the floor at his feet, watching him.

“Because every time you do his work,” she said rising up to her knees “it brings you closer to God.”

“But,”

“The wicked deserve to be punished.” Kas said kissing his knee and climbing up into his lap, straddling him. This time however he didn’t grab her and pin her, there was no stirring in his lap under her. “It’s not wrong of us to enjoy doing His work, you know that don’t you? The wicked must be punished, they must learn.”

“I know,” he said heavily, wrapping his arms around her waist and resting his head on her shoulder. “I just,”

“Jack,” she said softly pulling his head back and looking into his eyes. “Once you accept your destiny with your whole heart and soul, the headaches will stop. Stop fighting what it is you were meant to do.” She caressed his cheek gently as she spoke, her eyes locked with his. “Accept it, embrace it.”

Jack closed his eyes, feeling her hands on his face knowing that she was right. For some reason he felt as though he was fighting his destiny, fighting what he was meant to be. He needed to stop fighting it, to accept the fact that though what he was doing was violent, that what he was doing would cause pain and death, it was also the right thing, it was His Will. “I’ll try,” he said softly. “I promise, I’ll try.”

“Well all have our doubts my love,” Kas said. “It’s natural. It’s human. In the end though, we must have faith.” She leaned forward pressing her lips to his gently, his arms tightening around her pulling her tighter against him. “I have faith, in you.” She said running her hands through his hair smiling at him, and the corners of his mouth turned up.

“What will I do when you’re gone?” He asked. “I can’t be alone forever Kas, I just,”

“God will provide my darling,” Kas said. “Remember what I said about faith.” Jack nodded and moved Kas off him, standing up and grabbing his pants. “Where are you going?” She asked stretching out on the bed.

“For a walk.” Jack said slipping them on. “I need to clear my head, and fucking you again isn’t going to do that, though I want to.”

“Well come on cowboy,” Kas said spreading her legs invitingly. “Mount on up.” She frowned and closed her legs as Jack zipped up his slacks and grabbed his shirt. “Get over here!” She snapped at him snapping her fingers demandingly.

“Not this time, princess.” Jack said. “You got a hand, use it.”

“You son of a,” Kas growling jumping at him. Jack caught her by the neck, pinning her against the wall, his blue eyes cold as ice. She gasped as his hand shot between her legs and inside her, his other hand cutting off her air choking her.

Jack watched Kas’s face as he choked her, watched the small flickers of fear at not being able to breathe, the pleasure in her eyes as his fingers continued. “So wet Kas,” he whispered softly. “Such a bad girl,” he said her chest heaving trying to get air. “That’s my girl,” he squeezed her neck a little tighter, Kas’s hands locked around his wrist trying to move his hand to breathe. Her mouth work silently as she tried to say his name as he brought her closer and closer to climax. “That’s my girl,” he purred into her hear, his lips kissing the lobe gently and he felt Kas’s hips buck against his hand as she came violently once, and then twice as he refused to stop. It wasn’t until she was about to black out that he stopped, letting her go. “You just remember,” he said looking at her as she collapsed to the floor trembling, gasping for air, hands on her tender throat “who’s in charge Kasandra.” He pushed her shoulder against the wall with his foot. “You can die. You can be replaced.” He crouched down in front of her, his cold voice going soft. “Don’t make me replace you.”

Jack brushed his lips against her still blue tinged lips. “Good girl,” he said patting her head gently and grabbing his shoes. “I’ll be back.” With that he turned and left the room without a backwards glance.

Kas/Nina/Mathias/Doctor/Master - What we Hear

Kas sat there watching him leave, who the hell did he think he was, oh no she wasn’t some pup he could push around and treat that way, he was hers they belong to each other. Immortal or not, that just meant that he had eternity to suffer, if not by her then by someone else. She got up and walked to the bathroom, looking at her neck, bastard was going to bruise, that just upset Kas even more. Kas looked at her reflection in the mirror she reached out and touched the mirror for a minute, she didn’t know who she was looking at, it was as if a stranger was looking back at her. “God’s will be done.” Kas said snapping out of her trance, her anger evaporating, she could never be mad at Jack, not her Jack, but she was worried about him. Kas knew what needed to be done.

She quickly showered and got dressed, walking to the mirror and looking at her reflection the bruises now a bit more visible. Kas looked at the counter and there were various grooming supplies; no make-up, that was annoying she thought. Still she did what she could with what she had and finishing up she looked in the mirror seeing the reflection and she was happy with what she saw.

Kas made her way to the elevator and hit the down button. She stood there tapping her foot thinking of some song, but she didn’t remember what, it wasn’t important, there was simple ding and the doors opened and Kas stepped in. She hit the appropriate number and the doors closed, the ride down was quick but not as enjoyable as the ride up, the steel doors slid open and Kas stepped out, she inhaled deeply the smell of death in the air. Nina looked up from her clipboard, “Kasandra my child, I thought you and Jack would be playing.” Nina said in an amused tone. Kas smiled and walked over to Nina. “We were, but Jack left.” Nina nodded looking at her, not particularly caring, but still putting fourth some effort. “And you?” Nina said. Kas shrugged and picked up one the devises that was laying about, all this technology was fascinating to her.

“Nina, I’m worried about Jack?” Kas said holding the devise in her hands not knowing what it was for, but she was sure it was part of God’s plan. Nina looked at Kas, “What’s wrong my pet?” Kas looked up at her, “He is unclear about God’s plan for us, he has questions.” Kas tried to explain, she was worried about Jack, nothing could stop God’s plan, his will be done. Nina looked at Kas, “And you my pet?” Kas put the devise back on the desk, “I know God’s work must be done and that we are chosen. I have no doubts. I tried to comfort Jack, but…” Kas stopped thinking of his hands around her neck chocking her, how exhilarating it felt. Nina noticed Kas stop and touch her neck it was then that she noticed the marks on her neck. “I understand my pet, are the headaches bothering him again?” Kas smiled Nina, she was so wise and smart she understood, Nina was everything that Kas wanted to be, and never could. “Oh Nina, they are, I tried to tell him that it was because he had doubts.” Kas said much like a child explaining to a parent; Nina walked over to her desk and picked up a small jar well Kas stood there looking at her adorningly.

Nina walked back over to Kas, “This will help with the bruises my pet.” Kas smiled, “Oh thank you Nina…you are…” Kas got emotional; she always did around Nina and Devon. Nina touched Kas’s cheek with the back of her hand gently. Kas grabbed her had, “You’ll look after Jack, you’ll help him.” Kas said holding Nina’s hand tightly.

Nina smiled, “of course little one. Let not your heart be heavy, the Lords work will be done.”

Kas smiled, “Praise him and his glory.” Kas said letting go of Nina’s hand. “Now run along. I have work I need to do.” Nina said smiling. Kas pocketed the small jar and looked at Nina one more time, “Nina, can I see Dani?” Kas asked. “No little one, not right now.” Nina said not looking up from a report she was reading. Kas nodded, “Ok, thank you Nina. I knew I could count on you.” Her smile was big and sincere.

Nina looked up quickly then went back to her clipboard and Kas walked off she thought she should go and check on her pet…no Stinky had been naughty and still needed to be punished and she was feeling too good to punish him right now, and the Doctor would just be annoying, maybe Mathias would be fun to play with.

Kas walked to the holding cells and looked in the first one where they had left Mathias. She pushed the speaker button on the wall. “Hello Mathias…are you being good?” Kas said her eyes cruel and dark. Mathias rolled over and looked at her saying nothing. Kas saw that someone had come and cleaned up his wounds. “You must have been a very good boy, someone’s all cleaned up.”

Mathias sat up and looked at her, “Ich töte Sie. Sie schlechte Dirne” Kas didn’t understand German it wasn’t one of the languages she studied, but she could sense what he said and smiled, “Now is that the way to talk to someone who can help you.” Mathias looked at her, “I would rather die then get your help.” Kas shrugged, “That will more then likely be the case regardless, but I thought I would make things a little more pleasant till then.” Kas said with a dark smile. Mathias managed to stand up and approached the glass, taking one step at a time, moving slowly his shoulder was still causing him pain. “What do you want Witch?” He said threw gritted teeth.

“Why Mathias, I thought it was clear. What I want is simple…I want to hurt Ianto.” Kas said with a delighted cruel smile then continued, “By having you I can hurt him more then anything else, Jack just wants to fuck you, which will hurt Ianto as well, but I want him to suffer and what better way then through you.” Kas rubbed her throat absently then continued, “See the Master he can’t be hurt easily he only cares about himself and really that would be no fun. Dani, she’s otherwise deposed right now, but don’t worry I’ll be seeing her soon. That leaves the Doctor and you, well the Doctor, won’t play. But you, by hurting you, if you’re still alive when Ianto is found and brought here, seeing the suffering you’ve been through, well that will kill him and nothing would make me happier then seeing him die from the inside out.” Kas laughed cruelty filling the air, the childlike Kas that was just with Nina was gone.

“But why Ianto?” Mathias asked not fully understanding, why did Kas want to hurt him of all people, it didn’t make sense. With both hands Kas hit the glass causing it to ripple and creating a deafening bang, here expression was cruel, it was a look that would have made the Devil shudder, Mathias took a step back, “Why Ianto?” Kas began, “because Jack still fancies him and that bitch Gwen. He can’t be fully mine until they are both dead, and they will be. He’s mine Mathias, he was promised to me by God and I wont’ have them changing that.” Kas said each word more poisoned then the last; Kas stopped and looked at Mathias, “Now shall we begin?” Kas smiled,

“Step one foot in here and I’ll kill you.” Mathias said in defiance. Kas laughed, “We’ll see.” She hit a button on the panel and Mathias looked at her as he started to hear a hissing sound and he started to cough, “That is a simple gas it’ll put you to sleep long enough…” Kas stopped talking looking at Mathias as he fell to the floor. “Wow that was quick.” Kas said pleasantly pushing another button on the panel the air quickly being pumped out.

“Blondie…hello….” Kas said lightly tapping Mathias on the cheeks, Mathias eyes opened he was still a little groggy. Kas smiled at him, “Have a nice nap?” She said her voice sweet and gentle. Mathias tried to reach for her discovering he could not move he looked to his left then to his right and he struggled. Kas stepped back and sat in the chair crossing her legs resting her hands in her lap. She brought a chair in with a small table that was covered with a towel well Mathias was still out. “Go ahead, struggle. I can wait.” Mathis tired to speak and found that Kas had put a ball gage on him as well, all he managed were a few grunts and groans.

“You see Mathias most people don’t understand the fine art of torture, and it is an art.” She said standing up and walking over to him, touching his chest, her hand touching him as she walked around his whole body. Mathias trying to struggle but getting no where, “They waste so much time. Torture is about pain and suffering and seeing just how far the human body can be pushed.” Kas stopped in front of him, gently touching his penis giving it a loving squeeze then smiling, “You’ll note you have no clothes on and you are hanging the middle of the room. I can access your whole body externally and internally.” Kas released his penis and walking over to the covered table, “what’s on this table can cause a wide variety of things to happen so maybe even enjoyable.” Kas lifted the towel allowing Mathias to see what was under the towel. He looked at Kas, his eyes pleading with her fear at what he saw on the table only matched by what he saw in her eyes.

“Now shall we begin?” Kas said picking up the first tool from the tray. The cell next to Mathias housed the Doctor and next to the Doctor was the Master both cells equipped with a speaker and both speakers were open so that they could hear what Kas was saying and the screams and moans form Mathias. It was only the one way so when the Doctor tried to plead it was unheard by everyone but the Doctor.

Both the Doctor and Master neither knowing the other could hear as Kas was explaining in detail what she did to Mathias. They listened to her laugh and giggle, even the Master for all his cruelty was taken aback by what he heard the images of the events playing in his mind was probably worse then if he actually was watching.
May it be said, when the sun sets on your life, you made a difference.

Mick Dalton
Unregistered

Mick watched Hart take the front and elected to leave him there. He could watch the night from the headlights and he and Ianto could use the dim light from the taillights to watch for nasties from afar. It wasn't much light, but it was better than nothing.

Mick muttered, "I wonder if we should kill the lights...." Ianto said, "What?" Mick siad, "The lights. I'm wondering if we should shut them off." He was staring off into space, struggling to focus. He felt totally drained. He wasn't sure if it was the fresh dose of painkillers or if it was the Kasandra situation. Hell, it might be both.

His words to Ianto he meant, but they still had a hard time registering for him. He, Ianto and Gwen were all up shit creek without a paddle, all in love with someone who either wasn't there, or who was captured by another. He pitied Ianto most of all. God knew what vengeful Jack was doing to Mathias right about now. He had a feeling that Jack was...Creative, though.

Mick said, "Eh, might as well leave them on. For as long as we've been here, it doesn't matter now. I'm sure they know we're here." Ianto said, "Mick? you alright?" Mick said, "Yes...No....Fuck, I don't know. I guess so. I've been in sticker situations than this, and yet, this one trumps them all. Occasionally my mind focuses on just how fucked up the situation is that I'm in and I get all confused and moody."

Ianto said, "Back off bitch. I'm the only one that gets to be moody around here." Mick laughed. It helped him regain his focus again. He said, "You're alright Ianto. No matter what they say about you." Ianto said, "Why thank you Major. You're better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick." Mick chucled. He said, "You know what? I think you really mean that."

Ianto said, "Gwen? How goes the tire change?" Gwen said, "It's going alright. Hard to see in this bloody light, but we're getting there. See anything yet?" Ianto said, "Not so far. I think we're..." From the front, Hart said, "Guys...? We've got company." Ianto walked over. Mick limped along behind him. His leg hurt, but it felt...Distant. Like it was away from his body. This shit was GOOOOOD.

Ianto stood next to Hart with his gun drawn. Mick kept his loosely by his side. Mick felt his blood pumping. Ianto said, "John, I don't..." Hart pointed. Ianto said, "Oh...Shit..." Mick followed the finger. At the crest of a far hill was a cluster of dark shapes. Mick estimated there must be around 50 of them. He said, "You think they might be intimidated by the lights?"

Ianto said, "The probably won't even register it. No...They're not going to be scared off." Hart said, "Little fuckers are probably territorial. We're infringing on their little place." Mick said, "How many shots do we have?" Hart did a tally. He had two clips. Ianto and Mick had 3 apiece. Hart said, "I'm sure that would be enough."

Mick said, "Fuck...Look over there." There were more dark shapes in the darkness, behind where Kara and Gwen were putting on the tire. The flat was gone, and they were trying to line up the wheel to the the lug nut posts. He could hear Gwen cursing softly. Mick said, "So far they're just standing there....Maybe we're going to luck out." Mick looked over to the right of the vehicle. Yet another group was on the opposite side of the hood.

Ianto said, "I hope so. Gwen? How goes it?" Gwen said, "It's on. We've just got to get the lug nuts back on." Mick said, "Well, if we're lucky, we'll be able to...FUCK." Ianto said, "What?" Mick touched his forehead in the darkness and held the fingers in front of the headlights. the fingers were red. Mick said, "What the fuck WAS that?"

Ianto looked across the hood and came up with a stone. He said, "Looks like they're getting restless.". As he spoke, there came a hail of stones. While they'd been talking to Gwen, the groups had gotten closer to the car, in throwing distance. It was like a squall. Rocks hailed down on them from all sides. There was a thunk and something stuck out of the fender. Hart pulled at it and said, "It's a fucking arrow."

He spun and fired at the shapes in the darkness. Two shapes fell. There was a pause, and then suddenly a wail from many voices. The groups of wildmen started charging. Mick said, "Oh FUCK." Ianto drew his gun and started shooting, standing next to Hart. Mick spun and leaned over the hood. He fired at the shapes from the other direction.

Many shapes were falling in Mick's line of vision. He'd fare better with a rifle but he wasn't doing half shabby with the handgun. Ianto yelled, "Keep shooting Hart! I'm going to cover Gwen and Kara!" Hart said, "Then go." Mick leveled off on another dark shape. he fired and it went down.

A searing pain shot up his unjured leg and he fell to one knee, letting out a howl of pain. He immediately thought it was an arrow, but felt nothing. he felt the ground and his fingers brushed the stone. one of the bastards had gotten a lucky hit in with a rock. Mick got up and fired but his gun clicked empty. Hart said, "I'm out."

Mick handed Hart of his two remaining clips. He said, "Make them count." Hart said, "Ya think?" He spun and started shooting. As Mick turned a dark shape lept over the hood and tackeled him to the ground. Mick lost his hold on the gun. In the light reflected by the headlights, he'd have sworn he was looking at the face of a young Charlton Heston.

A knife flashed. Mick grabbed the hand and prevented it from stabbing him. The man on top of him grunted, forcing. Mick, flat on his back, was in a precarious position. He was losing! He turned his head and could see the vague shapes of Gwen, Kara and Ianto. Ianto had his back to him, shooting. The tire was on, and it looked like one of the two women was putting on the last of the lug nuts. Mick said, "HART!"

Over the gunfire, Hart couldn't hear him. He heard Gwen say, "Get his head up!" Mick let go of the knife hand with one of his hands. There was a gunshot, and the heston lookalike went limp. His face was splashed with warm blood. Mick forced the body off of himself and Hart bent down and pulled him to his feet. Hart was bleeding from several cuts on his head. He said, "Sorry about that eye candy. Don't want such a pretty ass to die like that."

Mick said, "Thanks." Ianto said, "They're backing off!" Mick and Hart looked around. They were indeed backing off. Mick said, "Thanks Gwen." Gwen said, "I'm just glad I saw you there." Mick said, " You have no idea how glad I am." Ianto said, "Anybody injured?" Mick said, "They nailed my sore leg with a rock. and my head." Hart said, " I got nailed too."

Ianto said, "We'll do the bandaging in the car." Gwen said, "I'm all for that." Mick said, "Jesus...Those were people...and they fought like...Like animals." Ianto said, "Yes...Can't think about that now though. It was them or us." Mick said, "Yes....I'll pick us over them any day of the week."

Gwen said, "The car looks pretty well undamaged." Ianto said, "Lovely." He was rubbing his left arm, apparently from a rock hit himself. He said, "Let's go folks. I want to be out of here before they regroup for revenge." Mick nodded. They packed up the tools and Hart dragged Mick into the car. Ianto started the ignition and they moved away from the side of the road, bouncing over leftover rocks.
