sleep through the static spring lake has always been a sweet kind of place. it was never too big or too small. it was the way most people liked it. then it happened. it was the month august, which just so happened to be one of the worst months for hurricanes. it was always very rare for spring lake to get any hurricanes. except for this year. hurricanes started coming through their way. the news room didn't think too much on it. that was until hurricane caroline came through. It pretty much wiped out the whole entire town. homes were destroyed, all schools that had been around for over fifty years had been destroyed. everything was gone. it devastated everyone in the town. the place that they knew so well and grew up in was gone. people didn't know what to do. what they did know? time to find a safer place and make sure their children were getting their education. so, the school board needed to find places that would provide the students with education and nice environment. after being rejected from several schools and counties, one town generously offered the students of spring lake into there community. this place is known as pinehurst. just sixty miles away from spring lake, or what's left of it. so, with everything the students with their parents moved down to pinehurst, to find their way back to sanity. |
