Rules for Xero Limits

Before you are able to add new topics, you have to respond to a topic that is already made, and you will be sorted into a group. When you first join that is all you can do. You cannot create topics, don't bother. You cannot send pms, don't bother. This is to prevent future spam bots.

Section I: Behavior

Part A. Swearing

Xero Limits was created to be a relaxing community where we can all have fun. Swearing at times is okay, but excessive, over the top cussing is not acceptable. Directing swears at members and staff is not allowed at any time.

Part B. Flamming

Flamming, also commonly known as Member Bashing is not tolerated whatsoever. This in a sense is attacking the members. This is an online community where insults isn't accepted.

Part C. Respect

While on the forum it is important that you respect those that run it. We work to keep the communitty fun and relaxing. If you have a dispute with a staff member, please contact any of the other ones with the problem at hand. It would be best if you can get a screen shot of it, that would help matters even more. At any given time, you may not disrespect a staff member in any way shape or form no matter what they do to you.

Section II Forum

Each section may or may not have their own set of rules, so it is important that you keep that in mind. In the end, if you are confused about the rules, please refer to these ones because they will take priority over the separate forum's.

Part A. Double Posting

By definition, Double Posting is multiple posting of a member within a certain time period. You may not post right after yourself for any reason unless twenty-four hours have passed since your last post. There is an edit button. Love it. Get used to it. Treassure it. This is also known as 'bumping' or 'spamming'.

Part B. Topics

Unless you are in a thread that is made for off topic, you may not stray off topic at all. The first post will always tell you what the thread is about. Please also make sure that while you are making new topics that one hasn't been made already unless you contact a staff member first.

Section III: Advertising

Please refer to the rules Here. This is the only section where you are allowed to advertise. You may not advertise by pm. If you do, you will lose all rights to advertise, including in your signature. Also your right to pm others will be suspended. You may advertise in your signature at your leasure.

Section IV: Signatures and Avatars

Part A. Signatures

You may have one image or signature. It cannot be larger than 450x100. If it exceeds that, then a staff member has the rights to remove it. Or if you do not want to have an image, you may have up to ten lines of text. If you wish to have a combination you may have one image following the rules and three lines of text.

Part B. Avatars

You may have 100x100 avatar, it may not exceed that size. If so, a staff member will remove it. It must be a still picture, mostly for the members who do still have dial-up.

Section V. Staff

The most important thing to remember is respect. Respect those that are running the forum. Administrators and Global Moderator's word is law. It is our duty to interpet the rules and what they mean. One may decide to follow the rules loosely, meaning that they might find a loop-hole or two that puts you in violation. Others might read it strictly, or word for word. On Xero Limits the only difference between Admins and Global Mods is the fact that Admins are more behind the scenes to make the forum work. Global Mods do most of the work on the forum to keep control if the admins are not on.

Section VI: Update

At any giving time these rules may change with or without warning. It is your responsibility to check the topic description for updates. Even if you do not read the rules when their is an update and you are in violation, you will still be punished.
