Who's your favorite possum?
|
yeah, I'm assuming it's new. They added about 5 more, that I wouldn't have had, because of how new they are... |

I might have some more, but I'm using a very unreliable source, so I'm going to check it out myself... |

No, but it DID have Super Mario Bros. 2. Apparantly on the second to last level, Link was in the background somewhere. There were no screenshots, and *I* couldn't find him... finding reliable sources these days... |

I'm pretty sure that's false. I played Super mario Bros 2 way too many times to not have noticed it. |

Heir to the Seven

I actually composed this list about 2 months ago. I wanted to compare release date of the American titles vs Japanese titles. I know I'm a little biased by not including european releases. Its interesting that zelda 2 came out less than 11 months after zelda 1. I guess that explains why it is so bad. The only zelda games to be released in the U.S. before Japan was ATTP/Four Swords and the collector's disc. Zelda is closing in its 20th birthday. I do have a few incomplete release date. For example, I know Zelda's adventure came out in 95 but don't know the month or date. Anyone want to help fill in these few blanks? The Legend of Zelda (NES) NES - JPN: 2/21/86 (FC Disk System); 2/19/92?94 (FC) USA: 7/87 (original); ??/92 (Classic Series) GC (Collector’s Edition) - JPN: 3/18/04 USA: 11/17/03 GBA - JPN: 2/14/04 USA: 6/7/04 Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES) NES - JPN: 1/14/87 (FC Disk System) USA: 12/88 GC (Collector’s Edition) - JPN: 3/18/04 USA: 11/17/03 GBA - JPN: 8/10/04 USA: 10/25/04 Zelda (Game & Watch) USA only: 8/26/89 (original); ??/98 (Mini Classic) Zelda (Game Watch) ????? wow, looks good. And you realize that the CDi games weren't Japanese, right? well, I have no idea on your blanks, but it's nice... And I think that Zelda II was good, but it was different... had a more "fantasy" type feel than the rest (music, and item wise) |

Yeah Zelda II was more inclined toward fantasy while the others are clearly sci-fy/detective stories ![]() I think the CD-i games were originally release in Germany, with the possible exception of Zelda's Adventure (still in Europe though) |

Possum W N E D YOU GOT ME!!! (still need to get a picture of that) and you aren't even a possum! But it had more of a traditional fantasy feel vs. and LOTR-styled one... of course, it WAS one of the worst... the music just seemed more like a fantasy... and kinda more Spanish (anyone else pick that up?) |

Sorry to double-post (if these can be merged...), but I'd like to keep this series of list's going with "Zelda Clones". This list is from Garrett: Brain Lord Crusader of Centy Those Soul-related ones, you know the ones Beyond Oasis Legend of Oasis Golden Axe Warrior Ax Battler: A Legend of Golden Axe are there any others? And what Soul-related ones? And a list of fangames (noteable/finished): so far I only know ZeldaClassic (that's a finished/noteable one) |

I didn't see that other post. I'll have you know AoL has an awesome soundtrack and while not as good as some other Zelda games, after all the crap we recently got it's definitely not one of the worst anymore. But hey, you're right about the Spanish hints. Nifty. The Soul Blazers series: Soul Blazer Illusion of Gaia Terranigma Every Zelda fan should worship the last one. |

Triforce of Lamedom...
|
I was going to buy them back in the day (particularly the last one), however its kind of a rarity over here, and I preferred to buy 3 SNES games to its 1... ...And do games like Seiken Densetsu (* of Mana) count, or are they too different to be classified Zelda-ish? |
