I imagine we don't have any new clues about that one, do we? (Having been absent so much I might have missed it). But yeah, I suppose it could be a good a dditiong since so few people even knew it existed. Heck, I didn't know it existed anymore five minutes ago as I had forgotten all about it until you reminded me.
Yes, we probably should have more coverage for those on the site as well.
As a clone, I imagine, not a cameo.
Looks pretty good.
I'd say so, yes.
Isn't it Navi Trackers that's a clone of Marvelous? (Kidding... I think ;))
That sounds like a lot of work, but more worthwhile than clones

Not that I know of. There are two pictures of it that are floating around the internet. The label seems to have a different name on this version than on the normal versions. Apart from that I was able to find its release date on a Japanese site a few months ago (Dec 31, 1986) and even with that the date looks suspicious enough that the only part I'd trust is the year. So for I think it's safe to say the trail is dead again. I assume it can't be that amazing if there's not a peep about it online. You'd think whoever is buying the carts for thousands of dollars would at least tease us with a screenshot or two.
Agreed. I keep running into the problem of unlicensed things cropping up everywhere I look. And there are some things that are gold-colored but not Zelda-related if I remember correctly. Anyway hopefully some obsessive person will find this thread in the future and can go nuts. |

What's the TooMuch Tingle pack? And Tingle's Rosie Rupieland wasn't that bad a game... I hope that the next one gets a translation as well. |

I wouldn't really label those "a game", personally. |

This is perhaps going overboard, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a good complete list of official releases for all Zelda games. By this I mean... A list of all versions released... with corresponding serial numbers if possible... I know that sounds like crazy-talk, but I'm seriously interested in such a thing if it exists. |

Well it looks like nobody here has heard of anything like that so I did my best to come up with a good list. I know there are some partial lists at the no intro forums, but more often than not I've just found posts by people there saying things like "Oh I have a nearly complete list, but I'm keeping that private....." So I give up on that place. I'm only focusing on Zelda games here, and I've only looked in any depth into the first 3 games. Here's what I have so far: TLoZ(1) FMC-ZEL - The original Pre-Famicom FDS version HVC-ZL-JPN - the Japanese Famicom version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-ZL - the Japanese Famicom version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-ZL-CAN - Canadian Version NES-ZL-EEC - I haven't been able to determine what version this is NES-ZL-ESP - Spanish version NES-ZL-EU-1 - European re-release version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-ZL-FRA - French version NES-ZL-FRA-1 - French Classic Serie re-release NES-ZL-GBR - UK version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-ZL-HKG - Hong Kong version NES-LZ-KOR - Korean version NES-ZL-NOE - European version NES-ZL-NOE-1 - European re-release version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-ZL-SCN - Dutch version NES-ZL-UKV - UK version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-ZL-USA - the gold-cart USA version NES-ZL-USA-1 - the gray-cart USA version TLoZ2:TAoL FMC-LNK - The original Japanese Pre-Famicom FDS version NES-AL-ASI - Chinese version NES-AL-CAN - Canadian version NES-AL-EEC - Don't know what this is... NES-AL-EEC-1 - Again, no idea... NES-AL-ESP - Spanish version NES-AL-FRA - French version NES-AL-GBR - UK version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-AL-HKG - Hong Kong version NES-AL-NOE - European version NES-AL-UKV - UK version (some confusion over whether this is the correct name) NES-AL-USA - the gold-cart USA version NES-AL-USA-1 - the gray-cart USA version TLoZ: ALttP M/SNS-ZL-USA-1 - USA Players Choice (1 Million Sold) version SHVC-ZL-JPN - Original Japanese version SNSP-ZL-AUS - Australian version SNSP-ZL-ESP - Spanish version (Apparently a hoax/error) SNSP-ZL-FRA/SFRA - French version SNSP-ZL-HOL - Dutch version SNSP-ZL-NOE/SFRG - German version SNSP-ZL-UKV - UK version SNS-ZF-CAN - French Canadian version SNS-ZL-CAN - Canadian version SNS-ZL-USA - USA version SNS-ZL-USA-2 - USA Players Choice (1 Million Sold) re-release version (no serial) - Brazilian version There are actually several carts I've heard of that lack serials. I only left the Brazilian version of ALttP because I'm a bit interested to see it dumped perhaps. Of these, the Dutch version of ALttP (SNSP-ZL-HOL) is of the most interest to me right now. It doesn't seem to exist online in ROM format. The best lead I had on it, though, is a poster at the No Intro forums who is extremely confident that it's not an "undumped ROM." He offers no rationale for his confidence, though... I'd like to see a full list of only Zelda games and all Zelda games just to satisfy the OCD collector in me... So if anyone else wants to add to these lists or to add some serials for different games, please feel free. Unless the mods think this should be a new thread... |

This thread seems functionally dead, but I still had to add...If that's your collection, MadHatter, then you almost have your own store's worth of games! And I thought having about 600 games was pretty good for me, LOL. |
