Oh... um, I forgot to ever reply to your comment on Disney (reffering to innovation and graphics that seemed "a step backwards")! Well, in a sense that IS what they are doing! No more traditional animated movies! You heard me right! Absolutely NOOOOOOO more! Now they're just doing CGI-type ones, but Pixar left, so... they're gonna suck! I think that CGI WOULD be a step backwards for them because it looks so much more unrealistic (especially with the movies they do, see the Incredibles?)... but, yeah, they're "innovative" (that word needs to be destroyed).

Honestly don't really care. But you can do that if you wish. Just head over to generic discussion.

Yes I saw The Incredibles. I can't say that it would have worked with normal drawn characters, and the style was very interesting and stylised, but even so I'd say I in some ways prefer hand-drawn stuff because of the immense amount of skill put into it.

Then again, when I look at modern cartoons (anything Nickelodeon) I really have to wonder if there's skill in drawn cartoons either...

Well since this is no longer about Disney movies but a comparison Cartoon and CGI... why don't get the best of both worlds?
Did anybody here see Metropolis? (the homage to Tezuka, not the original German movie)

Nope, but I don't like it when they mix. It's like... when live action and cartoons mix... like that Roger Rabbit movie... it just isn't right. But what is this movie that you speak of?

Oh, and Japanese Anime is the very worst...

Oh, I could understand that. Some (eh probably most) of the Animatrix episodes were kinda... meh.
But others were pretty awesome.
