Triforce of Lamedom...

OK... After I saw that forum, *lameboyadvance and his Zelda VB remake suddently feel unimportant. ![]() ...I had no idea there were so damn many Zelda fangames around. It's a wonder they haven't all gone the way of Chrono Ressurection... ...But then again, with that many games, it'd be hard to catch 'em all.

Most of them get cancelled after the first demo. But some stay on. So far there's only about five completed Zelda fan games, and most of those five are minigame-style rather than a full adventure...

Yes, but ZGM and Zelda 3D WILL be finished. Helios finishes everything! Plus after he's done with the editor (which will take a while), he can focus mostly on ZGM and leave the rest up to me! I won't let you guys down... ...it wasn't my fault about the BS Zelda game...

Thanks! How do I get it to work? (New game -> Basic won't work, and I found nothing to load but maybe I need to look in all those folders) |

Ok, what you do is New Game-> Basic and then click on the green arrow on the top right! Anyway, you should recognize it! Any questions go to nexuschat. Anyway, since I'm bored/angry, I'm going to make a list of games that I've been on the team for, that have been cancelled! BS Zelda PC (my game, but will pick up again when ZGM's done. Helios promised me that he'd include the features that I need for it!) Creator The Legend of Zelda: The Hero Awakes (another BS Zelda-type game. See my post above for the latest demo, that's buggy, but actually quite good!) Level Designer The Legend of Zelda: Quest for the Desert Stone aka. Zelda PC (3D Zelda game that I was working on, cancelled because Helios and I left) Programmer, Story Writer, Level Designer The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker GM (one of the better games) Beta Tester The Legend of Zelda: The 5 Goddesses (uh...) Beta tester, debugger, engine programmer The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2D (by ZFGC! ok, so they're still working on it, but nobody seems to want to program, so I left the team!) Tiler And about 3 others that I was BETA testing for, that I don't seem to remember... A List of Games that I'm still working on: The Legend of Zelda: False Spirits aka. Zelda 3D (Helios' project, that WILL be finished) Level Designer Zelda Game Maker (Helios' project. Has promised to finish like the first one) Beta Tester but he also asks my opinion on a lot of the features that I want to see. Braveheart 3D (I'm making this one. Basically I just need more help, but it WILL GO SLOW, as False Spirits is my first priority) Creator LOTR 2D (gonna be awesome) Beta Tester, Dialogue Writer, Additional Help Final Fantasy VII: High Crossings (gonna be good, but doubt that it will be finished because he still has another game that hasn't been updated for a long time) Story And there you have it! |

Can't find any green arrow. Or a top for that matter. When I choose Basic, a new window seems to pop up but immediately closes, and all I can see is MM's PAL boxart with a white column to the left. |

yes, above that column is a series of buttons. To the right you will see a red and green one. Click on the green one. |

Alright, it's as I thought, I couldn't get to the buttons because of the screen resolution. It's a pretty good beta, looking much better than that other game despite its being smaller. The sprite collision has a long way to go, of course, but it is a beta. Anyway those are some though Octoroks... and whoever put torches in front of Link's home? Oh and I didn't see that edit back there. What did that Gm stand for in The Wind Waker GM?
Uh indeed. Braveheart 3D... wouldn't it be better to make a game about Highlander? ...okay shutting up. |

Yes, it is quite a nice BETA, and has better progress than Zelda 3D. However, I'm hoping to convince Helios that we should include the editor (that I'm using to make the levels) with the game, once it's finished. I'm hoping to do a sort of Tomb Raider Level Editor with it: http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/tr5/editor/trle.html (96 megs) so that you can create stand-alone games (running off our engine of course) instead of just inserting or changing levels like what we have. The GM stands for Game Maker, because that's what it was being made in.
riiiiiggggghhhhhhtttt. Well, in all seriousness, I think that you need to see my layout for the game: http://www.nexuschat.com/forums/index.php?topic=194.0 |

Damn, I was hoping it stood for Ghastly and Mature  Seriously though, I'd rather like Higlander. It's sort of a dream game never made among those of my generation from these parts. That and a Zodiac Knight fighting game (not RPGs dammit) Please re-check my last post in the Star Wars thread. |

Well, I have thought about making you play as a character that isn't in the movie... There WILL be a lot of stuff on uniting the clans, and historical stuff such as that... but not really in the levels I have layed out... yet... |

Of all the stuff you've let me download, I'm still the most impressed with the 3D game featuring ALttP Link. The character interacted with the environment just perfectly. |

Well... I guess that I *should* be advertising Nexus Chat, but I know what it's like to go to a million forums to download things. And just wait for what you see next on Zelda 3D! Oh, and if you want to see pictures of that editor that I was talking about go to Nexus chat, just click the link I had in my post from the 2nd page! |
