Where'd that Princess go?

I saw the deleted scenes of Little Shop of Horror today. They were really deleted snippets and bloopers, but there was one that left me mouth gaping: it looks like an alternate ending was shot for this movie! What I saw was, simply put: two gigantic Audrey II standing among skyscrapers and causing havoc. Does anybody know if an original script with this scene can be found on-line? |

Many movies have original scripts leaked, so maybe. You think that's weird? Go to IMDB and look up the alternate endings of Freddy vs. Jason shown to preview audiences. What were they smoking?!? |

The alternate ending involving Spoiler: click to toggle would have been really cool! Well, not so much the ending itself, just the appearance by Spoiler: click to toggle

Guess what I found? http://www.alanmenken.info/downloads/downloads1.html Terrible quality, but definitely worth a look if you enjoyed the movie (probably available only up to Friday... what luck!) Thanks for the help Garrett! I still wish I had a script for this movie though. Sometimes I just can't get every word out of the songs. And they are so funny too. |

Uhm, these look like the lyrics for the musical play... some of them are probably different. Anyway, what keywords did you use? I tried googling it but whenver I use +script +"movie name" I end up with lots of sites selling DVDs. |

Oh, OK then. I've never seen more than 5 minutes of the movie myself... "script" and "transcript" will both work. And get VERY different results.

Actually nevermind, I was mistaken because of the photo to the left, but it does look like this has all the songs in the movie. Thanks again

Darn transcripts! Don't read them! Just watch the movie if you're wondering the EXACT lines... Anyway, speaking of scripts, have you guys read the one for Braveheart? (NOT THE BLASTED TRANSCRIPT!!!11!) Better than the movie... |

I've gone to watch the new War of the Worlds two days ago. It sucks. It's not just a bad movie, it was a really, really boring and annoying movie, but what's worse, it was not about worlds going at war. The movie was really about some guy who can't for the life of his be a good parent (doesn't help any that his children always willingly get themselves into troubles) and finds himself into a war (the fact that the enemy is composed of apparently invincible aliens doesn't really have much impact on the movie) If you want to see worlds at war watch the original. I mean it. While I'm here I'll also add that several things about the aliens didn't even make sense. Spoiler: click to toggle That's not all, but was the main "wtf?" point. It's a pity because it had a pretty good start (with those storms, I mean) I basically liked it (and tolerated the characters' obnoxiousness) up to when the little girl goes by the river. Then they make so many stupid things and get so far away from the conflict itself (of which we hardly see anything) that I actually leaned back and closed my eyes, waiting 'till I heard some alien noise. I had not done such a thing since seing Signs (something I'd rather not recall doing) and there are some frigthening similarities between the two movies (mainly the messed up family) |

Ah. Well the whole "it's War of the Worlds but the aliens don't come from Mars" clause kinda killed it for me, and I haven't even SEEN it yet. And how do you include the traditional Spoiler: click to toggle ending if they've already been on Earth for thousands of years so no doubt built up an immunity? Or did they have a different ending like the Planet of the Apes remake did? ![]() I like the old black and white War of the Worlds though, that was cool. ![]() It's just like that recent King Arthur movie. "Oh no, let's not follow the 'rules', let's set it in ancient Rome, yeah!"

You demand the impossible. No one in this day and age would have sufficient suspension of disbelief to enjoy a movie with martians as enemies. I know I wouldn't. They have not been on Earth for thousands of years, Spoiler: click to toggle There is also a colored version of that one, isn't there? And yeah, it's good, much better than this. |

Well, I thought it was good except for the "Star Wars" ending. I hate "everything's perfect!" endings, because that's NOT real life. But yes, the older ones were better.
What are you talking about? It's a historical side to the story, in a fictional sort of way. But the general gist of it is historical. |
