I talked about other Zelda clones... and yet I forgot Ninty's big lawsuit! The evil Graal Online (formerly Zelda Online) was sued to death, but rose again after changing the ALttP graphics to custom ones. So, ever played it? Love it? Hate it? Wish it was better? Tell me your thoughts on the matter!

Where'd that Princess go?

Eh, I've never been interested in MMORPGs (with the exception og the Matrix one, but that too didn't get me anywhere) And while not outright terrible, Graal's look is nowhere near being Japanese quality

You didn't ever try it, did you? ![]() I did, I'm sorry to say. I read about how it was ALttP-ish, but, um, yeah. Weird. And expensive too! The weird thing is, if the spriters had the talent of those at ZFGC, and the sound effects weren't so lame, it would be a less dumb game. That, and sort out all the player-killers. ![]() *waits for Possum-onslaught*

Triforce of Lamedom...
|
If its as bad as I remember Graal, they'd have to pay me to play it.
...This is why games need to be designed by the people who play them, rather than those just doing it for the money. (if it was me, that'd just be a bonus ;))
The bane of all MMORPGers everywhere. <_< ...But it is a quick source of items/cash...

Who's your favorite possum?

what were you expecting? Well, I hate games that are *only* online. What happens when they get taken down? What happens when your Nintendo DS no longer works, 20 years from now? Can they really make a good emulator? Well... I liked that game MUCH better when it was Zelda... played the non-Zeldaized version once, and then never came back to it. The only good Zelda fan game to date: ZeldaClassic Games that should have been good, until Nintendo sent them that blasted letter: Zelda II Enhanced Zelda III Clone Games that WILL be good: ZGM (Zelda Game Maker) and hopefully that 3D one, we're working on... |

Of course it can be done, we'll just have to settle with mouse instead of pen. |

Wow... I never knew there was so many versions of Graal... have you seen the 3D one? Good thing I never went back... |

Possum just doesn't like its "innovation" ![]() I must admit, though, after trying it in the store I want one! And it's really light too! I'm not convinced about the inter-frame motion-blur they seem to use, but I guess I could get used to it. Anything to get my hands on FS DS! ![]() --oh, wait, Aonuma's making this one himself... uh-oh...

EXACTLY!!! I'm getting one, but yes, I hate "innovation". And what's with that Donkey Kong drum game?! |

If you are talking about Donkey Konga, then bleh... but if you are talking about Jungle Beat, that game is awesome. I swear they made it specifically for me

There are certain categories they specifically target. You suckers you! Like, for example, last week (on Friday) my friend bought Half-Life 2, and he'd finished it by Saturday evening! It would have taken me weeks! People like that are the sole reason expansion packs are made. ![]() That, and have you seen those special FFX-2 controllers?!? Crazy!

What's the difference between the two? Which one uses those drum controller thingys? Doesn't one of them have the Zelda theme song? |

They both use the drum controller, but you're thinking of Donkey Konga. Jungle Beat is a platformer and a very funny one at that. |
