It does sound very Transformer-esque, doesn't it 2awsome4apossum - is that a demo for Wiki, or a seperate game that looks a lot like it (and TWW)? |

Everyone wants to be Halo. Everyone wants to be Zelda. Everyone wants to be Grand Theft Auto. For some inexplicable reason they all come this close and then PHAIL. LOOK AT THE HOUSES! I mean, it's like they hired the Outset Island carpenters! Lawsuit, anyone? ![]() Gah, I really don't like the graphics. I've gotten to HATE anime. ![]() Then again the only anime we ever get down here is monster-battling shows. Oh and Dragon Ball Z. Yeah. ![]() Q : How many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? A : One, but it takes him ten episodes to do it. ![]() Oh but we get Zoids. Yes, that sorta makes up for the crappiness of everything else. ![]() Actually it sounds like it could make an impressive game despite the legal problems. " Villages were established on the remains of Earth, only small shards of land floating in the sky - sustained by the left over forces of the planets gravity." Floating fortesses are always cool (X-Men flashbacks) I wonder if you can kinda moonjump between them? Yeah, potential cool stuff there...

I don't like anime either. Especially when those darned "hardcore" directors come into the picture *thinks of those perverted r*m sites accidentally stumbled on* *thinks of The Seccond Renesciance (sp?) in the Animatrix* But if it's done right it CAN look cool at points. So not interested in Biyu Biyu Rocket, but want Wiki? Odd... personally I hate MMOs. |

The Animatrix wasn't rated. I didn't quite expect a rape scene (especially involving robots). If there's one thing that pisses me off more than anything in movies and such, it's nudity, animated or not. Damn perverted nerds. That's why I've given up the Tomb Raider series (as fun as those games are), is because so many nerds are perverts. Nude patches? No thanks! And those blasted sites don't have any warning! |

Rape scene? More like dismantling scene. Nudity can be annoying when exasperated (think the very long lovemaking scene in Matrix Reloaded ...doesn't help the fact that Moss isn't really my type ) but otherwise I don't particularly mind. And Animatrix was not rated? I thought rating was mandatory. The human body is not a think to be afraid of (and don't come tell me that the sight corrupts children. Left to themselves they'd go around naked) |

Nope, but it has to be marked as "NOT RATED". Mistake #1.
Oh, don't give me that crap. I'm not denying that it's important to understand it and how it works, after all we don't want someone to freak out as soon as their wife starts to breast-feed, but stimulation isn't something that we can just wish away. And that's usually why it's in movies, even if it is "natural". It brings out our animal instincts and studies have shown that the more we let our "animal instincts take control" (on porn), we lose the ability to use our wit/brain/whatever, it literally makes you dumber. Not saying that the Animatrix was stimulating or anything *shudders*. |

No... believe it or not, someone I used to know, knew someone that didn't grasp the concept of breast-feeding... yeah...
Wha? Oh a painting! No, actually... but I'm not exactly sure why it being a painting makes such a difference to me... ancient sculptures and paintings don't get me mad like movies do... mostly because of the concept of stimulation. So I'll take back what I said about cartoon nudity, but what was in the animatrix (and on those r*m sites) is COMPLETELY uncalled for... But the rating system HAS gotten better. Back in the 70s they could show anything they wanted in a PG rated movie... |

Glad to see you are coming to your senses ![]() Personally I'm not bothered by what they did with Second Renaissance. The point was that humans abused of robots in every possible way thus dooming themselves to their future as batteries. Every bit of nudity served to either this point or realism (seriously, you didn't expect the machines to experiment on human bodies without undressing them right? "Hey meatbody, we're going to do terribly painful experiments on you that will take away your freedom and allow us to suck you dry of your energies, but don't worry, we won't be stripping you naked so you can keep some dignity. Happy?" |
