When will I be able to play Ancient Stone Tablets?

I know I can play it, but there's not much point. The indoors are completely screwed up, so you can walk through walls. when will it be playable? Also, when will it have a complete form (i.e. not 4 separate weeks)?

Are you working on these? If yes, when will they probably be available? The original BS Zelda worked fine.

I'm a Zelda completionist, so thx in advance for answering.

fixing the indoors is definately the priority right now. a skilled rom hacker recently took a look at the rooms and thinks the rom was a bad dump. so what we are hoping to do is find a rom hacker who can recreate the dungeons in Hyrule Magic. it presently does not look hopeful we will find someone who is willing and able to do this. i'm going to soon try another website called zophar's domain to find someone. so when will the indoors be complete, they could be fixed in 6 months or might never be fixed. combining the 4 weeks is not a priority right now. just so you know, the game is presently much improved in the past 12 months. it is much more playable and enjoyable now due to recent patches and with garrett's excellent new walkthrough.

...which is pretty amazing after years of utter lack of progress :P

But you're mistaken Cent, Euclid said he's willing to give insertion a try. However, I will be the one to work with Hyrule Magic (in fact I have already started)

Personally, combining the four weeks isn't something that would necessarily be of much interest to me... the game is very obviously designed to be played broken up into the four different sessions, what with the end cut-scenes and things like that.

Plus the fact that if you combine all four weeks together, you have to set up new flags to "jump" the pawn shop around based on the "hour of play", you'd have to clean up the "glitches" caused by cheaters trying to get to inaccessable sections of the world map early, you'd also have to change around ALL of the timer events... just... it's better to leave it as "four games" until it's all 100% cleaned up, and maybe even ~after~ that. Though if one could make a "Loader" rom to "choose" weeks, THAT could be the best answer... otherwise you end up with a 9MB game... and that's just insane.
I'm officially retired from beta testing, and resign my duties to those who have the time to do it.

Well I already know that the block-translator or whatever-you-call-it is stuffed and what i'm planning to do is to throw the whole lttp dungeon data system in there (yes, very ambitous of me), can't say it'll be 100% garrentee to work, but worth a try.

As for combining the 4 weeks, what is soooo annoying is week 1 and week 2 have nearly identical code (not including data of course), but week 3 and week 4's code is like a few bytes off (that means to combine week 3/week4 into 1 and 2, i'll need to go through every single branch and fix them, a big pain in the you-know-what). Also note the gfx used for each week is completely different sprite-wise.

So yeah... the 4 weeks together would be hard, a 9mb game may work but too bad snes doesn't support >6mb files cuz by then all the hirom banks are used up.
Yayyyy
