Also, is there any part in the script which could have been used by the woodcutters while they were indoors?

This is something I've been meaning to ask about for a while. Is this game ever playable? If it is a game that is. It looks like something you throw bombs in, but every time I'm there the thief either says its not ready(in week 2) or there is nobody there.

I think the game starts really late, time-wise.

The game sure is playable. According to the guide by Garrett it starts at 18:45.

are the tiles for the dashable tree available in week 4?

I'm pretty sure they are, because the tiles for the watergate were also inside.

That's a good question... maybe Duke knows

Besides, I myself believe now that we are not able to answer this question proberly as long we don't get it somehow to rain in week 4...

ok i've forced myself in that tree hole. Sorry to ruin all the hype about that hole.

Click here if you don't believe me (my host doesn't support image linking so.. yeah copy and paste the link in a new window), I also have the snes9x save state for it if you want to check it yourself.

Fall in = exact same spot as the holes in week1 surrounding that heart piece.
Yayyyy

I never cease to be amazed at the stuff Euclid can pull off when he "forgets" he's terribly busy with school

Thanks from here also, now we don't have to rack our brains anymore if there was anything below that tree.

But also in Hyrule Castle are two guards which are blocking 2 doors - so you can never pass that doors.

So it is indeed strange that St.Giga, Nintendo or whoever made such a nonsense - and even give hints how to reach it!

Why bring that up when I have already explained to you that the doors are there because they were in AlttP and it'd look room if most of the castle had suddenly been blocked off by turning those doors into walls?

One moment, please. I didn't say that it is a failure in your fantastic patch or you should make walls out of it.

The blocked doors appear also in DN's restore patch so, and this is what I said, there are doors in the game which have no use.

I brought this up, because, this case is compareable to the lumberjacks. These both are things without any apparently sense. I only wonder about why Nintendo or St.Giga built in such strange things - didn't they test play?

But I also remember a not beatable marathon man in OoT B)

They do? I'm pretty sure they didn't. Certainly they didn't show up in the editor (unlike vases and other things DN restored).

I could tell they were there because the guards are standing in the exact positions to bar you access to every door that room had in ALttP.

I did not take any offense, I know that you realize these doors were meant to be there (and are not an addition by yours truly).
But the point is, unlike the Lumberjacks' signpost that has been added and then left without a purpose, the doors have been there since ALttP, and they are still there so that people don't enter the room and think "WTF? The King had the doors walled up??".
I know I would have had complaints if the castle was to suddenly appear as having just two rooms (of course it now -does- have only two rooms, but we are to assume the others are there, simply beyond our reach).

And that's the same reason I remade the floodgate and fountain of happiness in the island on Lake Hylia, even though they no longer serve any purpose, because it annoyed me to see them mysteriously evaporate into thin air.
