Hello people, I got a few questions about the BS Zelda no Densetsu ending. After you beat Ganon, you pick up the Triforce and rescue Zelda, you then walk to down to the old man who tells you that you will start over if you leave. (seen here: http://www.vgmuseum.com/end/snes/d/bsz.htm) Is that all there is to it? Last time I saw that was a year and a half ago, has there been any additional progress in getting the complete ending? I have seen posts of people saying they are trying to put the original famicom's ending on the BS one, but does anyone really know for sure how did the ORIGINAL BS ending played after you leave that room? Did you get a results screen or credits? Also, is the translation found in those screenshots the complete translation of the ending? Like I said, it's been more than a year and I don't know if maybe the ending translation has been updated. Thanks for the help. |

There is no complete ending to get, unless we make up one (which we have not, as of this day). Also the game doesn't have a scoring system like AST, so a result screen wouldn't be able to show you much ![]() And yes, that was the final translation (I still remember the first one going on about spears that had crossed and doing so again ) |

I often lurk here and on other forums too, but I'm not much of a poster considering I don't even post on my own forum

Did the original Japanese text say the same thing? I remember reading from somewhere that the line was altered in the translation because the actual text made no sense. Is this true? And if it is, what did the original text say? |

No, you've gotten it the other way around. The correct translation is "If you leave here you'll start over again" (I'm typing this from memory so go with the meaning) and because the original translator couldn't make sense of it it became "If spears have crossed do it again". |
