I prefer the blade to be as blue as possible, without making it hard to see it's a blade. I'd say to try extending up the blue pixels in the blade by about two in the middle, and one on each side to give it a blue-er look, without making it hard to notice if you fired over blue (like the water). As for the Select issue, there are two ways to do this. The first is easier I'm sure... just assign the Select button a modified "PAR" action (remember you were trying originally to use my PAR codes in IPS form to make permanent changes?) that assumes that when you press "Select" you just lost all of your hearts. This would be akin to an "Instant Kill" code (which isn't that unusual in 2-player fighters, assigned to a button for most games) and not at all hard to make in patch form. The second way, is to do as you suggested by looking through Nintendo's patch work they did for their save feature. You already know the game to look into, All-Stars, since they put in a saving feature. Or you could (as a pseudo-third option) set a jump point that skips from the current part of the rom, to the "game over" screen. I haven't had a chance to yet. I haven't gotten TWW either, but I still have my copy of Minish Cap floating around. I just don't tend to have time to (seriously) play video games anymore... too much in my personal life. It's actually getting harder to find time for my projects and the forum.

You mean extend the dark blue? Yeah this probably works. My fear is only that, now that also the handle is blue it just looks too blue. However, the best other option is the yellow blade (but then it doesn't match the master sword anymore so good). Anyway, guess we discuss this better per e-mail and I send you some suggestions as soon I have time to fix them ![]() An instant kill button?! That's so what of cool However, this solves not the problem if you hit it by accident and want to return to game. The 2nd option looks better, to simply steal part of the code Nintendo used for SMB-As

E-mailing about it works for me, I'm going to be working on my laptop a little today (doing a format and reinstall of XP just to optimize and clean the poor guy up), so I'll be a slow reply. I think instant kill will be funny in it's own right, but yes... steal the coding from SMB-AS if you can.

Hurray for new uploads!!! Thanks Con. If you're taking requests, I'd like you to put Kiki (from ALttP) as the the hero of Map-1. I'd love a "The Legend of Monkey!" game. And maybe do a slight recolor of Kiki as the princess... we'll call her "Koko"!

But... But... I wanted to have "The legend of Koko" and have the "Monkey Blade", the ultimate sword. (I see the "blade" as being a combination of the Boomerang and the Master Sword hilt, with the blade being banana yellow.) This is my dream... a Zelda quest with... nothing but monkeys!!!! MONKEY!!!! (Okay, I was just kidding there, so don't take me seriously.) |

Well Dr. Freud, can I call you Siggy?, Thanks Siggy. Well Siggy, the thing is, ever since I was a little chimp, I've longed for the mythical banana... long since told to end the plague of the gorilla of darkness, lord Bobo... but, but... every night that I dream I find it... I get hungry and start to eat it. What's wrong with me Siggy? (Boy this is getting goofy) |

Why, it's simple my friend: you've ben playing the wrong game. Try Donkey Kong Country. There's four of them so you should be able to find one that pleases you. I'd reccomend the first two. |
