I want to try to translate Zelda to other languages, but I can't seem to get the BSZME editor to work right! I keep getting these stupid error messages saying "File Not Valid." And when I try to put a patched Rom in, it says "The System Cannot Find the File Specified.", and it runs, but it just gives me a window with some tiles. I want to know how to get to the areas with text so I can edit them. How do I get this thing to work?? Thanks for your time! |

You can't use the editor to change text, the editor is only to modify the overworld and dungeons. You'll have to use appropriate tools for that. I'd reccomend looking for them on emulation sites like www.zophar.net |

Thanks for the quick reply! Anything you wold recommend? There's a lot of stuff on that site. I need something that will let me see the original text. I don't understand all the numbers and letters in HEX editors. |

It's not going to be easy as pie if that's what you had in mind. I'd reccomend googling for some tutorials on the topic (of rom translations and tool usage). And you're welcome, we appreciate your good will. |
