due to a recent bit of an incident of sorts, all my Satellaview stuff has been moved from it's original URL.

You can get it now at

http://kiddocabbusses.tryhappy.net/nothingforfree/BS-X/

However, the Satellablog is currently not updated yet to accommodate for this, and it'd be a lot of effort to do so. Without many of the files on here, the Satellablog is currently not very well viewable.

I'm starting to ponder moving the blog to a different site, as well. I got an invitation and some recommendations for doing as such. However, I'd have a dilemma over handling a Data Exodus. The amount of work required could theoretically take weeks.

Can't you just copy-paste the HTML code, and then automatically replace all occurances of your original file-dumping URL to the new one with a text editor?

If it was all doable on a text editor, that'd be easy, but as far as I can see I'll have to manually edit each individual blog entry to replace the old URLs with the new ones.

Well if you keep your current blog, yeah you don't have any choice but edit each post one-by-one, but you can at least copy-paste each post in a text editor, apply a "replace all", and copy-paste back in your browser.

Personally I would do my own independant website instead of relying on a blog. If you have to move your files again, you won't have to make the URL changes again since you'll be able to use relative paths.

I would probably prefer a Wiki or a Annotation-compatible Youtube-esque clone, but I feel there's no merit in that if I'm the sole editor of such.

Ah, sorry to hear about that KC. But it's great to know this inconvenience hasn't prevented you from keeping the good stuff on-line :)

Ah I see the problem now. Guess it's not everybody that is able to create dynamic web pages.

Well in this case I guess you don't have much choice. Even if you move to a different service, you'd still have to edit each of your posts one by one to extract the data. At this point, it's really a matter of preference.

Meanwhile keep up the good work! ^_^

P.S.: Your avatar is still broken.

"Nothing you can say will ever convince me that the Zelda, Link & Impa of OOTURA, ALTTPGBA, SC2, BSLOZ, & OOX are different characters, or that Link isn't part Kokiri, FOR SOME Zelda Universes and that the mangas aren't canon FOR SOME alternate realities."
