I've been trying to get some help for the Satellaview stuff, particularly BS Zelda, through various communities. Unseen64 has given me a nice little bit. A little article about BS Zelda from Nintendo Power. http://forum.unseen64.net/viewtopic.php?f=...23&p=5849#p5849 From Nintendo Power n94, March 1997 ![]() ![]() I'm unable to be certain of whether these are prototype build pictures or not, sadly (The HUD, which would've been the giveaway, has been cropped off) One interesting tidbit is NP teasing about a Game Pak release - were they serious, or was it an empty promise? |

Being it Nintendo Power, I guess they made it up in order to not get rabid fans hatemail  Mh... the colors are off, but I believe it's a problem in the photographs. What do you guys think? |

I have that mag. It's on page 51. And the colors are also off in the genuine article, not just the scans. Funny, this article is followed by 2 pages of Earthbound 64 pics... |

I've actually been asking around to see if people have articles. I apparently contacted some people and some non-English European magazines might have stuff, but I haven't heard any more of it than that. As for the colors being off: That's part of what made me wonder if these were from prototype screencaps or mock-ups. I also noticed the Triforce has a thick black outline and 16-bit shine rather than the psuedo-3D look it has in the final. And as for Nintendo Power: God, looking back, they must be laughing at all the times they teased the fanbase about things never planned to be released. (EDIT: As for the mentioning in the articles section, make sure it's clarified that the source is Nintendo Power n94, March 1997 The sources of the other scans might be good to have as well. One of them is from an EGM, I can tell by their logo on the bottom-left. The other...?) |

Ok, I added the articles' magazines as far I could find them. I just asked if you had more articles because the topic's name was "digging out more articles" so I possibly could have missed one thread with a publication

There were some IRC convos where some people went "I might have something", but again, nothing's come up yet. Give it a bit of time. O: |
