Do you believe in the God of the Bible (the Christian God)?

The best description for me is a Polytheist, although I have many other elements to my belief system, which include Mystiscm, but then, that's common to ALL RELIGIONS!!

I'm also a Shamanist, and an Animist!!

I also believe in an infinite amount of alternate realities.

"Nothing you can say will ever convince me that the Zelda, Link & Impa of OOTURA, ALTTPGBA, SC2, BSLOZ, & OOX are different characters, or that Link isn't part Kokiri, FOR SOME Zelda Universes and that the mangas aren't canon FOR SOME alternate realities."

This poll's choices are strange. You can't believe in God and polytheism at the same time; God doesn't work that way.

Lucky you can only vote for one option then, huh!! :P

And you can, if you believe in the

Ten Avatars of Vishnu, and/or something like that!! :duh:

I was referring to the subject of this thread: belief in God.

No, that still doesn't work, because as part of the Ten Commandments God says, "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God" (Exodus 20:4-5). So no, you can't worship God and another deity.

Technically, you can. It's possible to love someone who is jealous as well as someone else. Of course the jealous person will likely not love you in return because of that ;)

Oops... my apologies on the first point, Garrett, but as to the second point :...:

THAT'S ONLY FROM A FUNDEMENTALIST POINT OF VIEW!!

I reccommend:

The Hebrew Goddess, by Raphael Patai, for those of you who would like to learn about a HEBREW GODDESS,

...and...

The Book of Lilith by Barbara Black Koltuv, for anyone interseted in an in-depth analysis of the subconcious of women & men, although this book primarily deals with the femminine side, and how to control it!!

Anyways, after you read the Hebrew Goddess, can YOU HONESTLY SAY THAT?! :P :D

Maybe if you're a Unitarian Universalist... I never understood why those guys didn't just admit they were agnostics.

Funny you should mention that, MH, seeing as I AM ONE, AND AM A MEMBER OF

Covenant of UU Pagans!!

How IRONIC that it should be brought up here!!

And not ALL OF US ARE AGNOSTICS, we just choose to live in harmony together!! :D

I happen to be of the Pagan variety!!

EDIT: We live by Our 7 Principles!!

And we DON'T have any set dogmas/creeds, because if we did, then everyone would pretty much HAVE TO BELIEVE THEM, and that would *defeat the purpose of having a religion like ours!!*

And I'm NOT CONTRADICTING MYSELF, BY SAYING I'M A *PAGAN UU*!!
