Feel free to upload, but as mentioned above, this patch is for the normal, US version of A Link to the Past. It WILL NOT WORK with the BS version of the game! |

Uh... it's right there on the hat. Take the sprite JB007 attached, you'd just have to reverse the colors of the hair and the hat's trim.
Actually I wasn't suggesting to make a variation, rather to leave the hat as it already is in the game. |

Huh, I never knew about some of those GBA changes that you mentioned either... interesting. |

Neither do the mascot patches I think; or do they work for BS-KNT, Kiddo? You're right with the hat color, Duke - however a blond Link is as valid as a orange-brown haired Link and it's a matter of taste. So if JB likes the blond hair more... it is his patch. |

In my patch, one question in the Sanctuary lacked answers. Now it's fixed.
Also, I restored the arrows on signs and I've changed the sign near the Sanctuary. Original:
New (this makes more sense):

It was called Church instead of Sanctuary in the Japanese version? Oh, nice find, Duke! But changing everything again will take some time. Becuase Sanctuary have 9 letters, and Church only 6, this will free some space in the game's text (there is a limit). BTW, Is it possible to hack the equipment screen and ending cut-scene with only Hyrule Magic? These parts are not retlanslated yet. Even better idea would be hacking the title screen (to put "Triforce of the Gods" instead of "A Link to the Past"). |

You're welcome. You should also know, if you don't already, that the Eastern Palace and Desert Palace are actually Eastern Temple (name also used in FSA) and Desert Temple.
No idea, I only used it once to change the map into that of AST, so I could take better screenshots of it. But that's a good idea about the title. |

The mascot patch is compatible with the KNT on the site (which is only playable on snes9x though). You should give it a try. If you want us to post your patch on the site, let me know once it is finished

New translation is basically finished, but I'm still doing minor revisions. ![]() Doing my other wishes (like upgrading the Pegasus Boots to match AST machanics) is hard and might be never done. ![]() Uploading patch here - I don't know, becuase this is basically a website for BS Zelda games, and the patch is created for normal A Link to the Past (US). Hacking BS version of the game is possible, but this will be really hard. If you accept only patches for BS games, then it doesn't qualify for uploading here. However, if you want to play ALttP with my translation, you can always download the newest version here: http://screwattack.com/downloads/view/A-Li...Translation-V10 I'm also attaching current version to the post. If you want something funny, ex-thief near the desert will say "I AM ERROR". And even more funny will be Chris Houlihan's Top Secret Room. Here is a video how to reach it: http://screwattack.com/videos/ALttP-SNES-m...Top-Secret-Room |

The overly enthused BS-X nerd.

Hrm... I think I would like to see a LttP Translation that goes over the JP Kamigami/BS Kamigami,, although that's nothing to rush for... probably something already done lying around somewhere, even. Hrm... If you really do get around to making the Pegasuss Boots hack, could you make a patch (or even the ASM code for those Hyrule Magic hacker folks) for it that's separated from the translation and whatnot? Especially if it's possible it could work with both the US LttP and JP/BS KnT, it'd be a sweet addition to have. |

After some research, I found Agahnim's color palette, and modified it to make his robe red (to match his official artwork), but unfortunately the same palette is shared by the King of Hyrule. I have an idea for a patch for BS Kamigami no Triforce. Unfortunately, I can't do it alone, but someone else could do it instead (like you Kiddo, becuase you made the boy and girl mascot patches) by using my Link and Agahnim's sprites (the colors of Link's hat and tunic are based on AST mascot patch created by Con, my comparison picture with green Link is posted earlier in this thread). BTW, is it possible to separate Agahnim from the King anad leave his robe green? Having red King might not be a good idea. Translating the entire BS version into English also might be a bad idea (using original or my new translation). Fans really would be excited, but using BS version as a loophole to play ALttP in English (ROMs aren't legal, but BS games can be currently played only on emulators) may catch Nintendo's attention. |

Doesn't the king of Hyrule wear red in the later games? I don't think it would be that much of problem honestly. :3 |
