The Nintendo 3DS has not yet been hacked, so it is currently impossible.


Ah well, maybe I'll wait for it to be hackable, then!! :D

Looks... very castle-ish. When the video started I thought it was not the Temple yet and that for some reason the entrance was in a courtyard within Hyrule Castle.
I was expeting it to be more Greek/Roman Temple-ish. Isn't that what we see in the Sacred Realm artwork? (next the Triforce in the distance)

Maybe you can add some Roman style pillars? (Sustaining a roof that juts out above the door?)

But yeah, regardless, I do like what I'm seeing :D
In particular I like that the music of a location within the sacred realm echoes the dark world music of ALttP :)
Though I'd suggest somehow making it look more mystical... not sure how. More decorations on the walls? Different lighting? (It IS the temple of light...).

In fact... the sky wasn't gold! Is that going to be changed later on?
That could also help with the lighting I suggested earlier in the post... you could give the whole place a gold hue.

Oh and love the idea of adding the water's reflection too... do you think you could make it fuzzier? It seems a bit too crisp and perfect for such a shallow pond Link can run around in, almost like it was a mirror with water on it.

Lastly, may I suggest removing the bricks making little rectangules of grass around the trees? Those tend to be rapidly overrun and covered up by grass when not attended to, and seeing as Rauru is presumably the only one living there...
Or perhaps even better you could show that by having some of them still in good conditions while otehrs are covered up. It'd make the place feel more alive and real.

Well if you notice in the Zelda poem for the golden realm, it says the sky shines gold not blue. However in the artwork, the sky is actually red with golden beams coming off from the triforce. Roman style pillars are rather interesting, but then again, I'm trying to follow in OOT's style of design too. :)
The ToL you see in the video only represents a WIP representation and is not the final version, the water will be updated a lot more, right now it only has the water box that gives the ripples and splash effects, that's it. The music we wanted it to have some connection to the dark world theme, since before Ganondorf took over, the dark world was originally the sacred realm. :)

Doesn't OoT have all kinds of different styles depending on the location? I mean, the Spirit Temple is clearly more Egyptian than anything else in the game...
I think they'd fit right in. After all, this place is supposed to be really ancient.

As a courtyard/entrance I think the design works well - I agree with Duke that the sky should be gold/red-gold/something - something otherworldly in any case.

Well the sky that I have there currently is the one used during the cutscenes with the Triforce in the sacred realm. Its why I used it but I can look into something a bit different if its possible. :)

Ah I see, that makes sense. However popular persuasion is that the Sacred Realm came to exist as such because the Triforce resided there, so that'd explain why it originally looked like a regular place.

That does indeed make sense, using the Sacred Realm sky from OoT, but in practice I think a more 'otherworldly' sky would help sell the place as being in the Sacred Realm - and Duke has a good reasoning for why it could be different from the cutscene :D

wow, this is amazing! Love the music, too :)

Only one thing I also like to mention is the triangle shaped pond; I would (next to pop it up graphically) give it the shape of the triforce instead of a simple triangle, means by adding a piece of land as the middle part.
