I don't know, maybe a harp? An ocarina? A Delorean? A police phone box from 1963 that's bigger on the inside? |

I'm playing Phantom Hourglass right now (after beating both Oracle games with 100% score). I'm between the Fire Temple and Temple of the Ocean King (2nd visit), but I'm going to cut the grass on Mercay Island first in order to collect 1500 rupees and buy a Heart Container from Beedle. Speaking of Oracle games, I'm calling the third unreleased game Oracle of Secrets. |

The next Zelda project is a three-part-adventure on the Game Boy Colour! The Hyrule Fantasy: The Legend of Zelda: Mysterious Nuts ~Power Chapter~ (Tentative Title) Planned for release in December 1999, planned price 3800 yen before tax, completion 70%. STORY The beautiful land of Hyrule, encircled by colourful mountains and forests. Princess Zelda, who rules over the seasons of the land, was kidnapped by Ganon, along with the "Triforce of Power", which has mysterious powers. Knowing this, the hero Link sets out on a journey of adventure to save the Princess Zelda. However Ganon quickly learns of Link's departure, and shatters the "Triforce of Power" into 8 pieces, and hides them in various places. Furthermore, he sends the "Season Rod" that controls the seasons, along with its hiding place, Hyrule Castle, into a different dimension. Because of that, Hyrule's seasons disorder, and the order of Spring-Summer-Autumn-Winter is upset. While saving the tree in which spirits dwell, the "Mysterious Tree", and the weird 'Ura Tribe' that live in the different dimension, the hero Link finds the "Season Rod", and travels all around the land of Hyrule and the different dimension in order to save the Princess Zelda. Alongside new tricks and puzzles, new ways to play have been added! In the middle of the screen is a kangaroo, "Ricky". Ricky is a friendly character you save and make friends with in an event. When Link is in his stomach, the player can freely move him, jump over 1 map tile square, and attack with punches from gloves. In certain times and areas you can use him to solve puzzles and move around. One feature of the "Link System" is the apprentice magician, "Maple-chan". While playing the game, she suddenly appears on the screen rriding a broom, and collides with Link, causing various events. A character that appears regularly. The new item "Season Rod" can be used to change the Field between Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter to solve hidden puzzles! The seasons and world of Hyrule are brought to life to their fullest extent on the "Game Boy Colour". You may even find a dungeion hidden in melted snow... Additional features: With the three-part-adventure is the "Link System"!! Among the three chapters, starting from any of them is OK!! But, what happens in one chapter will influence the other two chapters. <- Courage Chapter -> <- Power Chapter -> <- Wisdom Chapter -> |

Hey there Bluesun, long time no see! Say, did you find the time to give Cave Story a shot?
Woah, I either did not know or forgot about that. This is of extreme interest! So Subrosia was originally another dimension... that may explain why they have the same trees as in ALttP's Dark World (with eyes and snout)... and even why it's accessed through warp panels (instead of, you know, holes). Heck, it might even explain why the villains reference the Dark Realm several times without anything really coming of it. By the way, are you certain about the word "spirits"? Could it be "reasons"?
Uh, how is that in any way connected to the Link System? I think the author of the article did not have a clear picture of this aspect. |

1) Nice story, & it would have been nice to see an AOL remake as well, particularly if Spoiler: click to toggle Maybe it could be combined with BS Zelda?! 2) I've read about the Ura Tribe, ( throwback to ZELDA URA, which might cause major confusion), on either Zelda Wiki, or Zeldapedia, as well as the spirits of the Mysterious Tree... 3) Maybe Moosh/Dimitri were intended for the other 2 games?! 4) @Serkol: Maybe you could only bump into her when players linked up?! 5) I don't recall a *FROZEN-OVER* dungeon in the final product, sadly... ![]() 6) That sounds familiar... 7) A pity it didn't quite work out like that... |

Yes, but didn't get far. Probably going to get the new 3DS version... whenever Nintendo lets Europe have it. Yes, rechecking it, it is 'spirits', although now I notice that sentence is wrong for another reason - 'While saving' should be 'While being helped by', I misconstrued tasukerarenagara. |

I got myself the retail version![]() I figured if I was to pay for a game that I've already played for free, it better have revamped graphics and sound (and short exclusive new areas to boot). If you ask me, the pc + version and the eShop ones are a rip-off by comparison. |

I looked around and found that someone was attempting to create a fan game of Oracle of Colors on spriters-resource.com back in 2010. It's too bad he didn't have the help he needed to get some real progress done. ![]() In other news, I found that supposedly, the original Oracle of Colors was going to use the time of the day to solve puzzles. So whatever item it would be centered around (I suspect Tuf Pic may be right about it being an hourglass) it would change the day between morning, noon, evening and night. |

That's not quite right. Originally it was going to be Seasons, Hours (time?) and Colors, then when Colors was scrapped Hours became Ages. |

Meh, it was late (early?) when I posted that. I got it mixed up. Anyways, the person that attempted to create a fan made Oracle of Colors had the idea of the game's key item being an Orb of Colors. Personally I think that would be better than a paintbrush, lol. Also the idea of it being a paintbrush just sounds kinda silly. Not because of the theme, but because the thought of a mystical paintbrush just makes me chuckle. |

THANKS!! ![]() & as for the orb idea, that DOES makes sense, but then again: Drawcia, from the Kirby series, owned a magic paintbrush, so, maybe not so silly... Although I too would prefer an orb, well, I wouldn't be TOTALLY OPPOSED TO A PAINTBRUSH, EITHER!! |
