http://zelda.com/hyrule-warriors/ I am a bit surprised that there doesn't seem to have been a thread about Hyrule Warriors, on these forums... Hyrule Warriors is a Zelda/Dynasty Warriors crossover, & is going to be released September 26th, outside Japan!! I'm mostly excited for this, because, you get to play as Zelda (& I'm kind of hoping that they would give you some chances to rescue , @least in some instances, although the storyline seems to contradict this hope, unfortunately)!!What are you're thoughts, everyone?! The new stages look nice as well!! http://www.zeldauniverse.net/forums/zu-new...ster-sword.html |

I'm trying to avoid spoilers as much as possible, so to be on the safe side I didn't read the post... but I did vote in the poll. Hyrule Warriors is going to be gloriously over the top silly and I'm loving it. |

I'm still not sure if I'll be getting it. It seems like it would be fun, but the enemy AI seems to be lacking. |

To be honest, I don't think I care: I'm viewing this one as pure mindless escapism, so I'd be perfectly fine with a button masher. |

Oh there are some people who can't accept it's levels of crazy... but not me, I was all "no holds barred" the moment they said it wasn't canon. |

I finished mission 4 yesterday ![]() The scarf turned out to be significantly wider than I imagined. Did you pre-order at a place that gave codes for extra costumes? I got the Twilight Princess set. |

I pre-ordered @GameStop!! ![]() But do you know how to actually get the costumes on the characters?! & I'm having trouble actually completing the 1st mission, because the farthest point I've got to is Spoiler: click to toggle Any hints?! EDIT: This is now officially 1 of my favorite Zelda/Zelda-related games!!

To put the costumes on your characters you have to redeem the code they gave you at GameStop through the eShop on the Wii U (I believe). I think the code will be on your receipt. After that you change a setting in the game I imagine. |

First off, intercept him before he gets to your main base, even better if it's in the field, outside of a keep. Then don't bother attacking him, just focus on dodging his attacks while you stand in front of his mouth. When he opens it to prepare a fireball you've got to be ready to throw your bombs. If you succeed, he'll be stunned. Attack him now as rapidly as you can, preferably after using Focus (R button). You will probably not be able to deplete the white hexagonal meter before he gets back up, but it's alright as it does not replenish. Repeat the same strategy, this time you should be able to deplete said meter and deliver a crictical hit that will take out a significant portion of his HP. Keep it up and he'll be toasted soon.
Isn't it a tad soon to tell? Wait at least until you get to the fifth mission ![]() |
