he sure has A LOT OF HIT POINTS, & THERE'S SO LITTLE TIME TO THROW (s) @him, & whack him... Any successful strategic suggestions for defeating Spoiler: click to toggle King Dodongo?!
First off, intercept him before he gets to your main base, even better if it's in the field, outside of a keep. Then don't bother attacking him, just focus on dodging his attacks while you stand in front of his mouth. When he opens it to prepare a fireball you've got to be ready to throw your bombs. If you succeed, he'll be stunned. Attack him now as rapidly as you can, preferably after using Focus (R button). You will probably not be able to deplete the white hexagonal meter before he gets back up, but it's alright as it does not replenish. Repeat the same strategy, this time you should be able to deplete said meter and deliver a crictical hit that will take out a significant portion of his HP. Keep it up and he'll be toasted soon. - Tuf Pic,Sep 27 2014

This is now officially 1 of my favorite Zelda/Zelda-related games!!
Isn't it a tad soon to tell? Wait at least until you get to the fifth mission
1) Never mind, I FINALLY BEAT HIM!!
But thanks anyways!!
...&...
2) I already saw the information for some of the dungeons, & playing as females is an added bonus, so yes, it IS 1 of my favorites!!
Too bad there's no Saria however...

Sorry for the double-post, but I have just remembered/realized something, & I had already put 3 emoticons on to my previous post, so:
Anyways I remembered that towards the start of the game, (potential/minor spoiler(s) alert), Spoiler: click to toggle Impa shields from the Dragon Knight Volga, on the 1'st level, & I am currently playing as Impa in the 2nd level, (Eldin Caves), & Proxi, who is the new fairy companion for Link alerted Impa that he was in danger, so I'm hoping, as soon as I get to play as Zelda, I might sooner or later get to rescue LINK!!

Oh, you've gotten to the end of the third battle? I finished Legend mode four days ago. Funny though, I was replaying the third battle just yesterday while harvesting heart containers.
Adventure mode looks like it's gonna take forever and a half.

I have beaten the 4th stage as well, & have beaten both Spoiler: click to toggle The 1st Twilight Princess, & Skyward Sword stages, but I HAVEN'T yet beaten the Gorons who's personalities have been corrupted, in the Ocarina of Time-related stage...
Quite ironic in a sense that I managed to beat the 1st of the TP & SWS stages, (I haven't played much of either of those games), BEFORE the OOT stage, (not counting the other versions, I don't know how many times I've played the original Nintendo 64 version, (probably the most out of all OOT versions, (including the GameShark-related Beta Quest, & I hope to eventually play the OOT Debug Rom), certainly numerous times, although I did play other games as well on that system)!!
Any suggestions for the stage I'm having trouble with?!
I believe the farthest I've gotten is where/when you have to fight Darunia, (*SHOCKING TO FIGHT HIM*), & he retreats, but the Allied Base keeps getting taken, & there's just so much to do...

Believe it or not, that may just be the hardest stage in the game. Someone definitely screwed up the difficulty balance there.
Possible advice... have your character at the very least leveled up to 16. When you Spoiler: click to toggle allow Sheik to blow up the jar with rock sirloin, thus preventing Darunia from regaining his health, the doors to the enemy base should open. The moment that happens, ignore everything else and run straight there to fight Darunia. Ideally, you should have a full magic bar to use focus spirit on him and win as quickly as possible.
Also remember: you can run immediately without building up speed by moving in any direction and performing a dodge without letting go of the button until the dodge is performed and you're running. This can make a huge difference in missions that require you to be freaking everywhere.

Okay, I reached the point you're talking about, but my Allied Base's Hit Points are almost DONE FOR, & whether I try to Spoiler: click to toggle defeat the 2 Bombchu(s), &/or defeat the 2 Big Poes, & defeat a brainwashed Darunia, I can't seem to get enough time in to save the Allied Base... >(
Any further suggestions?!
Even if I start @ the last checkpoint, my Allied Base STILL IS ALMOST CLOSE TO FALLING...

Which would you recommend?!

That's exactly what I told you NOT to do.
You've got to ignore all distractions and head straight for the boss. At least that's what worked for me. Also I take it you're playing on easy, right?

Then don't start at your last checkpoint. Go back to the beginning and do a better job of protecting your base. To do this you must make sure that no enemies get in (especially ones with a lifebar, most notably Raid Captains that may arrive from nearby enemy keeps) and you have to prioritize mantaining control over the two Spoiler: click to toggle boulder keeps ; consider them an extension of your Allied Base.

Mh... that could be a good idea. I believe Sheik, is faster than Impa and would let you get from place to place much quicker. On the other hand, Impa has a water weapon which I think is the reccomended element for this battle. Sheik has elemental combos though, so if you can figure out which one is water, you could spam that one for best results (the first square of adventure mode is a good spot to practice characters).
Either way, do remember to be at least at level 16. Or go higher than that. Higher levels means greater attack power, which means defeating your enemies faster, which means being able to accomplish tasks quicker.

1) Sorry, my hit points were @an all time LOW, & I didn't want my base reduced to rubble...
Otherwise, I would have tried to Spoiler: click to toggle head straight for a brainwashed Darunia!!
...& yes, I AM playing on easy!!...
2) I'll have to do that...
...&...
3) Thanks!!
Spoiler: click to toggle Should I still have Sheik manually blow up the Rock Sirloin, or will Impa do that task?!
EDIT: & Sheik+Impa are both @Level 20, I believe!!
DOUBLE-EDIT: My bad: IMPA'S LEVEL 20, but Sheik, unfortunately is level 14...
