Where'd that Princess go?

Guys I'm working with a friend on translating something (yes, Zelda related) and we need help from someone knowledgeable of all things Scotland.

See, we are dealing with a set of three names that, when we transliterated two of them, turned out to be things from Scotland.
However we are not sure what to make of the last one.

As you may know, transliterating names is no exact science (say, we know Rinku is Link, but if this wasn't firmly established it just as easily could be transliterated as Rink or Linku), so we need an expert of sorts that can take a look at all the possible transliterations and tell us if any of them sound close enough to something from Scotland.

So... anyone here's a Scotsman, or is friends with one?
(You may e-mail or PM me if you'd rather not disclose your nationality here)
