Following Mudora's Footsteps

you know what's ironic? I asked Duke Serkol this question like a few months ago (yes it's probably been about that long since i've got week2 half done, hehehe): "In week 2 can i enter week 1's mole dungeon?" And he said "No there is no way to enter week1's mole dungeon in week2." Then I was like "Lets go slack and not do that room for week 2 then *pastes default layout into that room (what you see there)*" Looks like you proved him wrong, big time

Well I'll be... was that open from the start? Or did the mole dig them both open at the same time? Anyway, I'll get to fixing it asap. [Edit] Uhm, nope, not there from the start. Well that makes me feel a little better ![]() [Further edit] I tried talking with the mole in week 2 and it only opened the week 2 hole. How the heck did you get in there??

Yeah, I came to the same conclusion. Especially since I've not been bothering with srm files while playtesting. Anyway, I'm adding that cave as I type. As for the Kata, I actually wanted to replace the Katas with Sahasrahla's head and a potion, but Euclid said they'd come out in black and white so I did not push it. |

It's a welcomed post in any case ![]() If we've worked so hard it's to deliver this game's legacy back to the Zelda fandom to which it belongs... and without people like you, there would be no Zelda fandom to speak of

I'm surprised I didn't find it myself. That'll teach me to start with a fresh S-RAM. In the process however I found that you can seemingly collect last week's upgrades from the thief by paying him again. I'll have to do some more testing to be sure. |

I think you must be confused... each week you get upgrades, they are cumulative, but because you can't go back to the previous week's dungeons, you can only get two for each. |

Garrett do you mean that you can pay the thief twice if you didn't get the upgrades the last week, so you get both upgrades? EDIT: Just checked it, and it is indeed true. By talking to the one who upgrades your bomb bag twice you can get the upgrades from both the current and the previous week. The same thing can also be done with the thief that upgrades your quiver. |

Oh that's what he meant? I misunderstood. Yeah, that's certainly possible. Nintendo, being Nintendo, doesn't put "one time chances" into their games (not for anything more important than rupees anyway) Not like certain other companies... *cough*Capcom*cough* |

Yes that's what I meant. It also works with buried Pieces of Heart, you simply buy the shovel at that particular week's shop. |

Yeah, that one is pretty standard for Nintendo - I noticed that back when I was playing the untranslated version ![]() The mole Hole thing was an interesting one to have picked up on, Zuppahiko - nice catch

I noticed some small issues in the game that have nothing to do with the indoors. Well maybe it sort of does. For example, I left the theves hideout in the lost woods and the village music was playing. Which is strange to me because I thought the only music available in the game was the overworld music. Anyway there are also other times when I exit the indoors and no music will be playing. I'm sure you guys already know about this, I just wanted to mention the town music thing because I thought it was cool since I never heard any other music in this game besides overworld. |

The music is not working correctly right now, and besides AST doesn't use the same music as ALTTP uses. To get those strange bugs that you mentioned, you'll need to find a cave which you can enter from a different place than where the real exit lies, and then exit it from the real exit. |
