Today was a unusually warm day in Chicago so I decided to take a walk to the thrift store in the brick yard mall and I was looking around the whole store really good and before I left I saw a laptop bag behind the counter so I asked the lady behind the counter if I can see that laptop bag inside was a Macintosh PowerBook 165c laptop and I looked at the price and it was $10 so I asked if I can test it out, and it powered up and booted into system 7.1 and everything works like new and it has the original batter and it holds a charge, the laptop is in very good shape for being 15 years old and also it came with a few floppies and a carrying case also I've been wanting that laptop since I was 7 years old but I could never afford it till today |

I just reformatted the laptop because the OS installation was original and needed a good clean up and to my surprise apple still has support for that laptop and also had OS 7.5.3 for download, so I got 20 floppies to make the installation disks I had to make the disk in my MacOs emulator using my USB floppy drive so now I gotta find all the games I grew up on, because the disks went bad on me for being in storage for so long so if anyone knows were I can download old mac games, let me know, the games have to run on system 7.5, 7.1, 7 and 6 or in other words MacOS classic, the main games I'm looking for is Space Junkey 1.0 and/or 1.2 , the oringal MacBrickOut, Tetris for Mac, Munchies, and Glypha III, I know most of you hadn't herd these games because most of those games were released in the late 80's to mid 90's but if you do know I beg you please post the links or other ways I can get these games like I said I've been wanting that laptop since I was 7 but now all my disks that had the games went bad from old age thanks |
