I am gonna tell you all how to type korean in game on Windows Vista!

Sorry I dont have any screenshots yet..Ill try to make the guide as complex yet understandable as possible.

Note That The Steps May Vary From Your Vista Eddition..I'm Using Windows Home Basic, So It may be different in Other Edditions.

Step 1: Open Controll Panel..And Click On the "Clock,Language and Region" Tab.

Step 2: Now Under The Regional And Language Options, There should be a tab saying "Change Keyboard or other Input Methods" click that.
Posted Image

Step 3: Once its Up, click "Change Keyboards"
Posted Image

Step 4: In The Menu That just appeared, There should be 4 Options on the side of the bottom of the box. Click "Add"
Posted Image

Step 5: A list should have came up. Scroll down the list untill you find "Korea"
Posted Image

Step 6: Click the Plus Sign, To open up more options..Enable all the boxed there except for show more. now click, Ok.
Posted Image

Step 7: Now, You can Enable the language bar if you want. it enables easy Toggling beetween languages. Just Click the options that appeal to you.
Posted Image

Step 8: Now Go To "Advanced Key Settings" and put a key sequence in both the english and korean collum...
(I used Ctrl+1 for english, and ctrl+9 for Korean IME and Ctrl+5 for Korean)
Posted Image

Now, Test In notepad if you can type in korean.. If it doesn't work, Enter your key sequence for Korean IME..now type. if that doesn't work, use the language bar to transfer the "A" to Harugen...Now, Your Ready to try in game. The First Time, It may not work...Even when you type your key sequence. Try rebooting the game. If that doesn't work, Restart Your PC and try again. When you are finally typing in korean, it may appear as "?"..don't worry, Korean Players see the Korean Letters, and Windows XP users might aswell.

Hope this helps! :happy

Showing the Language Bar:
1: Down near your taskbar/QuickStart tab, there should be an "EN", Click on it.
Posted Image

2. In the Menu that just popped up, Click Show Language Bar.
Posted Image

3. Now, To Show the Toggle/Convert Options, Click on the EN English <Country>
and select KO Korean.
Posted Image

4. Now, Select the "A" in the new extended Language Bar, to swap to Korean.
Posted Image

Or, Enter your key sequence!

Now, You can type in Korean!!! With Easy Swapping!! if you have any questions, just ask and ill do my best to answer.

Edit: To make it so you can see your letters instead of "???" go to the Regional And Language "Change Keyboard or Input Method" tab, and then go to the last tab in the pop up window, administrative. Once there, change the system locale to Korean. Now apply and restart your computer, launch digimon rpg and see if it works!

Note: This may also change some pop up window text..but just change back your system locale once youv'e done playing DRO.

If your using a translator, It won't be correct. Babblefish and Google and other translators are Free, so they don't give entirely correct translations. Buying a Proper translator will give you the words that you typed.

I know that typing in korean in the game for some reason appears as "?" i Think it's because Windows Vista uses a Different Korean Language Pack then Windows XP..And since the game is Meant for XP, they probably have the XP korean language pack installed on the server, meaning that we can't see the korean text we type, where as since Vista has Both XP and Vista Korean Packs, we can see Korean players Text..Confusing..

I'll add some screen shots to the guide, making it easier to understand.

i just tried to type in game but its in english.

Keep Trying, This Happned to me aswell. If you remember where you put your Language Bar, Put your cursor there when you playing the game, and it should flash (The Language Bar) try and find the "A", then click it, and type. If it comes with "?" your typing in Korean, but you can't see it, but Korean players can.

Can anyone tell me about proper sentence structure? Like, I just typed to my buddy on MSN ㅗ몸! - Which translates to (As I wrote it) Haha! I can type Korean at you and you can't understand me!

Was that sentence properly formed? Or am I doing anything wrong?

Yea i can type Korean but i don't know what to type to make it understandable to Koreans like:????? ? ??? i typed stupid but that is not the word in Korean can anyone help?

I finally appreciated learning chinese in school (for the chinese version of DRO of course). Even if you were able to type proper korean words, its pointless if you cant understand their reply. Btw I wouldn't mind helping guys form proper chinese sentences :3
