I have a Toshiba Portege 3010CT laptop, it is a Pentium 266Mhz with MMX with a 30gig hard drive "original hard drive was only 2gigs so I upgraded it" and 96MB ram running windows XP pro SP2 and I was running a virus scan on it and the bottom of it felt really hot so I ran Speed Fan and found my HD and CPU temp to be really high, and surprisingly its running normal and stable, the laptop has no cooling fan, I mainly use it to set up home networks

I know modern computers/laptops are not suppose to get hot, once when my HP laptops fan went out, it got that hot at about 70C it started crashing and running slow, at about 75C I started getting BSOD's and at 80C it shuts off and wont turn back on till it cools down |
